I am super pumpt for week two to fire off. I think that Week one was really interesting across the board, and scoring was down overall. It's funny scoring was down overall and all the tight ends were horrible. I don't think that's that's correlated, right, because you look at tight ends, so much of them are dependent on touchdowns. Did you score touchdown or not? Cowpits score touchdown? What do you know? He was a top three tight end in week one, So I think that's something to keep in mind that tight ends, Yes, they are so especially the lower tier ones. They're very based on the environment. If you're playing in a shootout, there's a good chance that tight end can be productive because of the touchdown equity that they can generate. So just something to keep in mind as we kind of go through this tight end landscape. Obviously week one was bad for those that invested in tight end with high end draft capital, but that was the case for everybody. So again, I don't think it's time to just totally jump ship on it. We'll see how the Titan's doing week two. But I'm happy to break it down.
That's right, my friend, And if you guys want to check us out, also, you can hear Ericson and myself with Piez of Pa on Betting Pros on Friday, where we're giving our top props. I'm gonna have a tight end prop. Probably not gonna be a bad week for tight ends in general because projections and numbers should be lower. Hey, Ericson, thanks for asking. I am first place number one on our Fantasy Pros content team. I'm so glad that you brought that up. I just wanted to mention since we were talking, Oh, we were not talking about that. Just want to mention number one on the Fantasy Pros content after week one, so you know, things can only go.
Up from here.
I fell to the feet of our host and friend Ryan Warmley because I started Mark Andrews over Isaiah, likely because I'm a fraud.
Well, I mean, were you gonna do? You're gonna do anything different? I actually in that league as well. If people are wanting on the tight end market. I had David and Joku, which failed me, and I was able to one of my probably my biggest waiver claim of the week, Kolby Parkinson. I have him in so many places now, so that's.
A good spot, good spot this week.
I like him a lot, that's right, Well, good spots for you guys. We got a packed Q. We got a packed house here of our Fantasy Pro Discord people. I'm excited to get to all of it. So just bring it to us. No more banter, no more talkie talk. Let's get stunned the black Raptor in the house to kick us off here, stun what's up, dude?
Alrighty, So I have a PPR league that I'm in, and I'm starting a Chan in my flex this week, and if he doesn't play tonight, would you guys rather start Christian Kirk or Jalen Wright?
Ooh, Andrew, I think that's kind of easy. If a Chan, well, I shouldn't say that's easy. That's not if a Chan doesn't go. And this is a little tough because people are gonna listen to this after that happen. I probably would have gone Jalen Wright just because he's gonna play that a Chan role. But Kirk is way safer, so I guess let's lay it out. Kirk is a floor ish play where Wright was always going to be a home run play even if eight Chan is out. Does that make sense ye?
Yep.
Also, they're saying in the chat, make sure you don't put you're not playing eight Chan in your flex regardless because he's playing. Unless you're playing, good point, every running back you have is playing tonight or on Thursday night when you're listening. Uh, obviously he would be someone that you need to play in your running back slot. But I agree with the Kirk versus Jalen Right, look, Jalen Wright again, it's kind of like an Xavier Worthy play from last week. It worked out. I mean he had like three opportunities. He scored your touchdowns, right, we ran pretty hot with Xavier Worthy. Well, that happened again with Jalen Wright. It's a leap of faith because Jeff Wilson is gonna still be involved. So you're hoping for big plays. I wouldn't look at Jalen Wright as someone's going to get the gold line opportunities because that's probably gonna be Jeff Wilson because Rhem Molster is definitely out. So yeah, I think Kirk is definitely the safest play. Yeah. So when when you said, well.
And we learned our lesson last week, I think actually what you said is, like the most important thing is that don't fill up your flex spot, you know, keep your flex spot open for the end of the week, because that's what got killed a lot of people with the Christian McCaffery stuff. He did also say he has Jeff Wilson. I just I don't want to do a lot of focus on Thursday night because like this podcast is gonna air after But I'm Jeff Wilson over Jalen Right, if that were to happen, for.
What it's worth, I think Devon a Chan is gonna play, so.
I do just on. Yeah, So I think you can do that exactly. All right, Let's get to mctunda. Mctunda in the house. Second up here on the board. Let's see if mctondah gets up. Oh, there we go. Mctonda. What's up man?
Hey? He how's it going?
Everybody good?
Good?
Good?
Uh?
Two quick questions there full PPR there, I I offer, well, I got offered by Jon Robinson for Devon a Chan and Cooper Cupp.
Okay, yeah, let's stop there that way, so way you get you get Bijon, but you have to give up those two. Yes, I can't do it. I would do it, but that's you would trade Cooper and I No, I mean I agree, but I don't know if the degree difference, I mean there's a there's a degree difference between Bijon and a Chan. I don't think the makeup is Cooper Cup. That's a that's a great.
Let me ask you something. What would you have trade? What would you have to trade to get CHRISTI McCaffrey last year?
Yeah, I mean you're probably right. Okay, So then what's the rest of your team?
Then?
Looked like mcdundee. You get rid of your top running back and your top wide receiver. What is Bijon? And now what is your running back and wide receiver corps?
My running backs are Jerome Ford and David Montgomery. Uh, I have a couple of flyers like Tadja Spears and such there so, and then my wide receivers are justin Jefferson, Elak Neighbors, T Higgins and Tank Tail.
I think he's fine, man, I take at Djon just me, but.
I guess I'm okay. It's just like, if you don't do that trade, you have Cooper Cup justin Jefferson, and who is that other wide receiver that really good one neighbors? Yeah, I mean that's an insane wide receiver corps. I mean, I guess you know your running backs take like a tiny bit of a hit. I don't know, man, that would be a great poll question. I'm I lean to say that feels like a lot. But Ericson's not wrong in that, Like to get the number one player, you got to give it up. I will say this, I guess your roster doesn't seem like it takes a massive smack if you do that trade. So you could do it so you know, you take a half for me and a full for Ericson, and maybe that pushes you over what was the other question.
It's tight end premium in that league as well too. But I'm really floating tight end there. So I've got Hudter Henry and then Zach Ertz and Akins is out there for.
A for Cleveland.
So you know, like who to start, yes, and who to start out of those three? Okay, ericson, we're kind of team Ertz here, I'm team Ertz.
Yeah, I mean it's it's really a role that with those three guys. I mean, look, it's it's tight end. So again I talked about game environment, right, who can who can score touchdown? Like that's that can really help you out a lot in this spot. Yeah, I think the targets are going to be there for arts Hunter Henry. Again, I don't expect a lot of scoring in that particular game. Patriots and and Seahawks and I I full disclosure, I will be starting Jordan Akins in some deeper leagues this week. But I am a Jordannagans truther. Maybe maybe we'll get some Jordan. I'm going to definite look up the Jordan Nacans anytime touchdown odds after this show. I will admit that as well.
It got to be at least five to one.
Dude, I'm gonna be all I need backup tight end touchdown odds anytime, Like I need air, So.
I'll see if you were going to keep talking, I was going to go, look here, I'll see if I can like throughout the show, I don't know like the one thing that stands out to me. I do agree all of those guys are kind of the same way Hunter Henry always feels like the touchdown play, you know, if you're looking for like more touchdown equity. But you've got a decent matchup for Washington defensively, and they said we want Jayden to stop throwing as much, and I don't know as much or running as much. I'm sorry. If he's not running as much and you're finding that level of comfortability where he wants to step up, what are you gonna do? You're you're probably gonna lock into your safety nets and that's going to be the tight end position or guy like Echley. That kind of what we've been saying before. So this actually is a decent week for maybe Erz to put up some catches. So that's why I kind of lean that area. Let's get the Sam g Premium member on the Fantasy Pros Discord has access to it all. Sam, what's up man.
Hi, guys doing We're doing good dude, cannot complain myself. I was not able to get much in last week because I was I hopped in super late.
So this is kind of like a question.
My most important league, I would say, is my super Flex league. That's kind of what I've come here to talk about. It's kind of the one I only ever had issues with, the only one I can't figure out myself, and I always kind of get a second opinion. This year, I kind of took a different draft strategy, and I ended up getting Jamar Chase like ridiculously late because no one.
Wanted to touch him.
Granted it is a super Flex and it didn't really pay off. The any other better option I had was Garrett Wilson, which I'm not trying to kick myself in the butt for anything, but I ended up as the week went on, having people on my team that everyone ended up talking about, Like Caleb was my QB two. I had JK. Dobbins because I drafted him almost everywhere. Yeah, so I'm just kind of trying to figure out is if my team is viable, if I should be looking for trades, if I'm weak at any position, Who to start in Flex?
Well, I mean you probably have to give us like a little bit like more content.
I mean there should be cheap I'm sending my team as as we speak to to into the messages if I can.
Yeah, yeah, I put it in there. Becauesn't say like cheap plug here would definitely be. By the way, my playbook is going to help you with a lot of those things, because that's a lot that you just threw at us of like is it viable, who do you start and stuff like that. We'll take a look at the TV for sure, but definitely.
Okay, yeah, it's not letting me send it. I'm not sure why, but my two qbs are Patrick Mahomes and Caleb Williams. My wide receivers are Jamar Chase, Amari Cooper, Tank dell uh, Brandon Cooks, and my running backs are James Cook, JK. Dobbins, Tony Poward, James Connor, and Tank Bigsby.
Okay, sorry I got you off there. I'll tell you this as a quick aside because there's so much in there. I think the team is fine. Ericson, I think you'd probably agree. I hear starters across the board. You're three wide receivers. Good, You've got three running backs to work with. Kleb will bounce back. You're good in that spot. I will say this and go and this is a we're cheap plugging across the board. Andrew Erickson and I did a show earlier this week, the Buy Sell Trade Show, and I opened it up with JK. Dobbins as a potential sell And it's just so funny because everybody is very pro Dobbins now and I have him on this show. We did the thing on there ericson I believe Worm was one spot ahead of me. All three of us were in the thirties. I was mid thirties preseason draft. But there is something to say with the hype of what Dobbins did last week being untouched and that really great offensive line, but low carries that he's now a top twenty back because he's got an incredible matchup this week. I just think he's worth putting out there to see what could be had, not saying trying to and he can't be good, but you might be able to get the overpay for a guy like JK. Dobbins. So I think you're competitive and that's someone I might put out there. Anything you want to add with that.
No, I think you have to try. Look again, it always takes two to tango when it comes to trades. You can set an offer that you think is fair. I sent an offer to trade JK. Dobbins for jayde Reid. I thought it was fair, but it got rejected. So look, don't go over like, put him on the block. See if you can get a deal done. But don't lose sleep over it. You're like, oh my god, I didn't sell high on JK. Dobbins. Well, like he may be a cell high after this week too. He may have he may have even more value after this week. So again, like, don't beat yourself up if you didn't take advantage of a cell high or a bi lo like you can only do so much. Like I said, it takes two to tango, and you what, you definitely want to experiment putting him out there seeing what you can get, because I'm sure there's a lot of leagues where you would get that trade accepted Jaden Reid for JK. Dobbins. You could probably get more in some instances. So yeah, no, I think that's kind of a that kind of sums it up.
You know, it's funny that you said that too, because I was thinking after we did that show, there's a part of me that was like, man, maybe I should have been like, wait one more week, because this incredible, gifted matchup of Carolina coming out like that might have been Again, I don't think I was in a space where I was like, you have to trade him. It's like no, it's just like, see what's out there, and if people are still timid about it, Okay, well guess what. He's only going to probably stack up this week because Carolina stinks, so it might even be better to wait. But that's the guy I would look at. Oh? Nick?
All right, Well we'll get you back if you come back up there. But that sold. STL. Saint Louis maybe STL to the stage. What's up man?
Any guys? Hearry?
We got you all right?
Thanks thanks to good call Lewis. So go whoever's by in the rank. Two quick questions.
First one is if a chan doesn't play tonight, do I start Jeff Wilson, Rico Dowell or Jalen Warren at Running back, standard scoring Wilson easy Wilson, Yeah, okay. And then the other one would be, do I start Kyler Murray against the Rams for Jade and Daniels against the Giants.
That's a good one, okay, because I believe, oh I didn't pull up the Fantasy pros consensus ranks. I think Daniels was seven this coming week and Murray might be six. What say you ericson.
I'm gonna I have the right back to back, So yeah, I think it's pretty close, but I will take I'll take Kyler.
You don't worried about Kyler at all in like the I don't want to make nothing about nonsense or make something about nothing in the whole, like it's not my job to get the ball to Marvin Harrison and just those kind of weird comments and there are like I don't know, I'm just I'm not a Kyler guy. So I have a really bad judgment here. I will say it's Kyler for me, but I don't know. There's just something about that offense and how they're running already that just has me just kind of icked.
I guess for me, it's I don't know, I mean, it's not Kyle's job to just like feed Mark. I mean, his job is to move the ball on offense. And if that's through Greg Dorch, if that's through the run game, if that's him scrambling, then I don't know. Like, again, he's Marvin Harrison is a rookie, Like it's not it's not Knna Murray's job to appease a rookie, right, Like he's the he's the quarterback, he's the leader of the team. So like I get like people are annoyed because they drafted Marvin Harrison high. But again he's this was his first NFL game, right, and I guess it was again at the end of the game when he was open. Yes, that's where it's definitely more. You can take a critical shot. And again, Murray's not far from his mistakes as a passer. Isn't attempting downfield passes. But I mean they still need to gel together, right, they haven't been together that long. I mean they just drafted him. So again, he's chemistry with those other players. He's chemistry mean bride from last year. So he's just leaning on the guys. I think he has better chemistry with and I think you'll see that probably build as the season progresses with Marvin, So that's kind of my take on it.
I'll be probably paying attention to what his reception marker is going to be this week. I'm very interested in that because I think that you have all these conversations and then they're gonna end up having that bounce back and getting him the ball. By the way, follow up, Jordan Aikins only plus two twenty five.
I don't like what the bookmakers no see in that case, I would just in that case, I would just I would just look at first touchdown. That's what I would do.
Dude like Brian Thomas and Jerry Judy have better odds than Aikins on a touchdown call.
Yeah, so yeah, that would not be an anyccount I would do. I would just do the first touchdown because that's probably least that's going to be at least ten to one.
Yeah, we'll try Nick again. Nick is back in here. Let's see if we got it fixed with him.
Okay, thank you, I'm wondering again. I'm sorry for all the HM questions. If he does and go, I do have Jalen Wright. I also have Jordan Mason in the event that CMC doesn't play. But if in the hypothetical that Han doesn't go and then CMC doesn't go, is it worth starting right at RB two tonight or waiting on like Cuba or Jalen Warren or something.
I'm starting Mason no matter what. If McCaffrey plays, Mason's gonna get run. If McCaffrey doesn't play, Mason is a top ten back, so I don't know if that's quite answering. If ah Chan doesn't play, Jalen Wrt's a pretty good home run call. I like the home run call over Cuba, but Jordan Mason to me is just a must start. I don't care what the McCaffrey stuff comes out, but I don't think he's gonna play.
Yeah, I don't think maffy's gonna play either. I think yeah h is gonna play and mcaffrey's not gonna play. So yeah, there you go.
Yeah, exactly easy stuff and no, I.
Just just just again, we don't want to harp on the Thursday night game too much, but just please like check the rankings as well, like those will be updated just because of I know this is going to get released Welsh right after game starts. Yeah. So guys, if you have more Thursday questions, we're happy to answer them. But also just the rankings will reflect the news once it happened, so just keep that in mind.
Let's go to the Savage with still the name of me on here. It's Savage, right, and that's Savage. There's a character on this show. I mentioned it with Cabbage. Well there's this there's this show, and it really screwed me up. It's called Presumed Innocent on Apple TV with Jake Jillenhalt's great show. But he's like a district attorney or something. But his name was Savage, not and I thought it was Savage the whole time, and I'm like, what a ridiculously dumb character name for a show. They're like, hey, it's Rusty Savage, and I'm like, give me a break. But it was Savage and that messed me up. But this is Savage, right, Yes it is? Indeed. There we go, all right, what's up? Man?
So real quick? League mate is down on Brian Robinson Jr. He is offering him and roma dunsay for Tony.
I don't do that. Room doesn't do anything for me.
Don't do anything for me?
What about you, Erickson, what do you think you're getting Brian Robinson junior? You're trading Pollard. That feels relatively lateral ish to me. But what say you?
Well, I mean, if Rum's not doing it for you, then it's a now. I mean I I I'm so, I'm intrigued by Rome, especially as a bench dash. I mean, he's a top ten pick and people are down him because he's injured and he didn't do much Week one.
I mean, I just think he'll be later in the season. He doesn't really offer me any value now and going Brian Robinson over Pollard. I don't like the idea of Daniel's stilling goal line work.
Definitely, it's it's it's not a not thing. I mean, there is Eckler that's looming out there. We're pretty Ericson and I are pretty Propolard. Like I said, I think they're both like relatively similar. I do agree with Erickson to the point of, like, if you can look to later in the season, if your bottom bench wide receiver is Jalen Polk and you can upgrade it to a Douneesay, that does do something, but it doesn't help you. Now. Was there another question.
Yeah, so start to Tank Dale Marvin Harrison.
Oh it just starts sitting. Sorry, I thought there was like a third one.
Yeah, okay, yeah, no, no, just those two. Like I'm struggling because I know what Marv can be.
I watched him, you know, in college, and.
Kind of a sucker for Marvin Harrison because I'm from Indiana even though I'm not a Colts fan.
I want to start Marvin, but I.
Know what Tank's capable of too. I mean my other receivers that I have going are jj.
Uh Ill let me see.
I mean I'm gonna start tankd ou So.
Yeah. Well, I think it doesn't make Marvin.
Make Marvin prove it to you, like come on, like he again we drafted a high but week when he wasn't involved. They're gonna try to get more involved in week two. But you know who is going to be involved no matter what in week two, Tank do Like I know that for a fact, and I know his court loves him and Cala Murray it seems like his Luke Warman on Marvin.
And Nico's gonna get blanket coverage. Yeah with Jalen Johnson's probably gonna have blanket coverage on Nico. They were working Tank out of the slot to move him around. I mean, I guess it speaks to I just I'm just gonna get stef On Diggs wrong all year long, because every time I look at him, I'm just like nah. But then he just gets two touchdowns and I'm like, trade him and he'll be amazing. So, like, I don't know, but I do think this is a tougher defense, But I think this is a decent opportunity for Tank. This is sutually a good question that helps me kind of open up my rank mind too, because I think I'm lower than Marvin On most people having JJ, I think put you in a really good spot. I think Tank just has a really good floor and there's kind of an unknownness to Marvin. Where do you have Marvin this week? Ericson?
So I originally had him at oh, go back to the MIC. I originally had him an eighteen and then, But I mean, when I think about it more, it's I really want him to prove to me first in the NFL. I think that that's fair. Again, he's a rookie. I get you drafted him really high, but at the same time, there are plenty receivers that offer a ton of upside, like a Tank Dell, but he's proven at the NFL level, So look, are you going to be risking a giant, gigantic Marvin Harrison junior game? Potentially, But I've seen Tank Dell have massive games too, Right, There's a lot of receivers that have big games. And until we see a little bit more of usage from Harrison, I think that it's okay to temper expectations and maybe week one is a signal, Hey, put this guy on your bench right now and just let him kind of go through the rookie process. Didn't see a lot of preseason reps, and if he improves in week two, that's growth. But just because he improves and is more involved, that doesn't mean he goes out and scores thirty Fantasy points. Right, So those are things on how I'm kind of viewing the situation. I mean, would you start my league neighbors or Marvin Harrison's neighbers for me?
Yeah, I have neighbors over Harrison. And that was a funny one because that I think that flipped in the rankings because just because I do the ranking show, it was like early in the week it was Harrison, and then by the time we did the show, neighbors had jumped to him. Neighbors are Harrison is moving down a little bit more and like I've got him currently at like twenty and the more that we're talking about this like this is a unique situation because it's like there is the upside. We know the floor. We just saw what the floor for Marvin Harrison was. I'm not sure we have quite an understanding of what the ceiling is because also Greg Dorsch is a big piece of this offense and Trey McBride is the number one here right now and that doesn't look like that's going to change. Dell has the connection and is a massive playmaker, and I suppose he could have a Marvin like floor. I just feel like the floor is higher with a similar ceiling to Harrison, and I guess that's why from that safety nets standpoint, like just roll with Tank, roll with Tank, and you're probably good. That's a tough one because like I'm looking at my ranks and it's like, I think I'm gonna have to reflect Tank over Marvin now that we're saying this, and I didn't have that.
No, I was looking at my rankings too, and I had originally had Harrison Overdell, and then I just kind of again, as this is why this is good. We have these shows, we talked through the process in the plays, and it's like, wait, no, it doesn't make sense for me to be so much more confident about Harrison. Again. The ceiling the ceiling. Tank Dell's ceiling too, right, So that's somebody to keep mind. And I think he comes within much higher floor. We know Tank Dell's not going to go out and get two targets, no, like that's c J. Strout's guy. And last week Tank Dell had a really good usage. He had over one hundred are yards seven targets, really solid and you made sense about the matchup. But Jalen Johnson, if he's trying to blanket Nico as the bigger wide receiver, then it's going to give Tank Dell a lot of favorable looks.
So let's do it. Let's get to stew the Baker. It was a good question, by the way, was a good conversation to jump in here Stu the Baker, premium member on the discord access to it All and now us Stu, what's up?
Man?
Hey guys, thanks for having me. Yeah, a quick question for you. So fourteen team PPR, I currently only have Dalton Schultz as my tight end. I'm just wondering if there's any sort of low rostered options I missed out unlikely from high bid and same with Parkinson. So there's you know, Friarmouth, Tucker Craft, is Dalton Schultz droppable?
And who are some low options you would you would target?
This is a good question. I actually believe if I looked I don't have to go and look at this right now. But from a tight end standpoint, it's actually not the worst matchup for Schultz. I'm not sure. I'm curious where Erickson is on this. I'm not sure where Erickson is as far as like dumping Schultz. I will say this and this I might be completely wrong about this this week. It is not popular understandable to like anything with the Green Bay Packers. I get it. But in my brain, when you think about how bad Malik willis just is in general, and what he's going to have to do and what they're gonna have to do to move this offense, I can't but think that the safety pieces are gonna get targets, and that is Josh Jacobs, it's Jayden Reid because he's the playmaker, and Tucker Craft. Tucker Craft was like the primary tight end. So I kind of think Tucker Craft is a decent play I think he's in the same general realm as as Schultz. But I gotta imagine Ericson. I don't know what you feel about Tucker Craft. I gotta imagine Akins is the one you're gonna throw at us?
Uh No, not because he said Friarmuth is available, So okay, that's the direction. I mean, look, who does Denver have on defense? Pats Ritain? What does that mean? He's gonna be on George Pickens? So where's the ball going to? It's going to Friarmouth. Last year, the Broncos allowed the most touchdowns the tight ends. So for me, I love your synopsis in overview of Tucker Craft. I think that's so spot on with how they're going to try to move the football with guys that can create yards after the catch, like Craft, Reid and Josh Jacobs. But I mean Friarmuth is gonna be the number one receiver for the Steelers in Week two. I feel pretty confident about that, and I would I would drop Schultz like he's never going to have consistent targets. You're never gonna know when to start him. You're gonna take so many lumps. Yes, he'll have touchdowns occasion because he's attached to Stroud, But I just want to get someone that's gonna get targets, and I feel comforted that's going to be Firemouth this week.
I don't hate that. Yeah, I think you know what. I think you're right, Tucker Craft. I'm sorry, Firemouth might be the guy to go. I was going to say Friarmouth, if you're looking at PFF, will have like their tighten graded matchups. PJ. Locke, the theoretical coverage is a pretty high coverage and Firemuth is given a negative rating, but Tucker Craft is even worse. It's actually EJ. Speed. It's one of the top coverages on a tight end if you care about like the advantage of offensive grade to defensive grade stuff. Both of those guys are kind of in the a little bit of the negative. But Friarmuth is going to get probably riddled with targets. So yeah, I think you got some good options that are sitting out there for some touchdown calls and some reception. Speaking of touchdown calls, my friend TD Tuddy taking it to the house in for six whatever you call it touchdown. There you go, We got through that two oh five on tank Dell.
By the way, yes, it is that like the same odds as Jordan Nations.
It's like almost the exact same odds as tight.
Yeah, I know I'm gonna I would put my money.
Yeah, exactly, Let's go to man lessness manly oh man leanness. Man, I think that's what you meant. I'm sorry, man, what's up?
Man?
Hey? Doing good?
Can you guys hear me?
Yeah?
We got you great dude, all right, awesome.
Thanks for taking the call. So I heard you guys say you like neighbors over over Harrison.
But I am.
Trying to pick I'm in one of these eighteen leagues trying to figure out this last flex spot. Would you go with neighbors James Connor or Mason if McCaffrey doesn't.
Play, Oh, I mean Mason one thousand percent Mason. Where do you have Mason ranked this week in like regards of McCaffrey not playing, Yeah, I have an eight. I have an eight.
I mean you're gonna start him, like you find a way to start him, Just just find a way.
There's a part of me that was like, well, what are we doing talking about neighbors in the flex? But he said it was like one of the eighteen leagues, And if it was like eighteen with like two wide receivers, you know, neighbors could not even be startable. But yeah, I mean, Mason is the guy this week. I know it's tough because you got to wait till we get the official word. I kind of think we're going to get the I think it's like Friday night. They might just kill it. You know, they might not even like mess around with us. There's also if you watch McCaffrey talk, there's like a bit of a frustration that he's had because also the whole like the team lying thing he's got at and he had said there's this interview where he was like, hey, listen, I think I'm ready to go, and I'm working as I'm ready to go, But then he caveated it with what would it do if I was like, yeah, I don't know, blah blah blah. He's like, no players should go into a week thinking like maybe I shouldn't play blah blah blah. So I feel like he's kind of like gently setting us up that like, hey listen, I feel good, but they're being safe with me. I'm not going to play Jordan Mason twenty eight carries He's a freaking monster. They didn't involve anybody of a debo and they'll do it again. So Mason's a top ten RB this week if he plays. So that's an easy play. Keep it going, people going for my niners. Hey, Ginser's in the house Hollow Nights.
Yeah, they let's go Welsh.
I got it's once it's locked in the brain. It takes it sometime sometimes, but once it's locked, we're good. What's up?
Ginser?
Hey?
Guys?
So sometimes it takes six weeks, but once you get it, you know every other week after that you got it.
You get over forty dude, that all the things don't lock in your brain as easy. There's always so much like I lost something. I can guarantee you. I just want you to know this because you guys needed Hollow Night. In my head, there's something that's now deleted and gone, and it'll happen soon. We'll figure out what it is. But what do you got?
Man?
All right?
So I talked about a trade last yek where I got Korum and Jaden Reid. So are we holding Korum still waiting for something to happen. We're not afraid of running Rivers?
I presume.
I'm not not afraid of Ronnie Rivers. Yeah, I the debate has been really funny, and I think ericson you and I may have even talked about this that I was very anti Blake Koram is gonna take away, but also at the same time he was. I think ESPN numbers showed he was the number one player drop this week. That's silly to me, though, that's also silly to me that you're giving up we Also the one of the reasons, really, the reason you should have been in on Korum is the idea if Kyen Williams was gone and how McVeigh uses the offense, it just turned into Kyen is a punt returner. Lol, Blake Koram season and then everybody like he's just dealing with the disappointment. So I'm leading this to I'll say, I'm not looking to actively dump Korm for nothing. Is there something that he could be dumped for in your league?
Chincer Now it's fourteen team, so it's it's pretty slim on the waiver wire.
Yeah, you got a whold bit.
So the other part of that question was funny enough the piece I won of his Korum and then Jadi Leed is kind of like our throw and because I guess the guy didn't like him.
That much, like gaveing Christian birk Viking.
So Chiefs fan actually surprisingly so funny enough. Now that I've got Jade Reid, I also have Christian Watson, which I wasn't too excited about having both the Packers players. But would you just hold and have them both and see what happens? Or would you try, like I assume, try to flip Christian Watson since JD. Reid is probably going to be heavily involved going forward.
I think it's the literal worst time to try to trade them right now. They somebody I think it was in the rank show Billy Musio was on with us. I mean, take this for whatever it is, but Billy didn't have a Packers receiver inside the top fifty. And the only reason I'm saying this is like, this is why actually the Fantasy pros ecr ranks are so great because of outliers and this, and everybody has this in their own leagues. You have people that do like wild stuff and have like whether it's right or wrong, by the way, just have like these big ranks. Having the consensus can kind of hone in on that a little bit. So fantasypros dot Com slash rankings. You want to check out where all the experts are, but the case still sits out there. Ericson that, like most people don't view the Packers wide receivers as a top three starting wide receiver, any of them right now, So I view it as the absolute worst time to try to move off of one of those guys.
Yeah, you can't sell receivers after they have bad games or in these situations. Again, I think Jane Reid is an interesting buy low right now, But when I think about it more, he's probably gonna be by low better after this week. I feel like he's probably gonna be better buy low, just based on the way Musio is talking about him in the rankings. Again, if any receiver is going to be able to and again I'm saying, it's survive Milik Willis, it's not thrive. It's if anyone can survive Milik Willi as a quarterback, it's Jane Reid. But what does that even net us? Right? So, yes, you got to hold the Packers players. I mean, in some shallower leagues you might have to cut them too. You got to move on because, trust me, if they're on the waiver wire with Malik Willis as their quarterback. They're not going to hurt you, and we're going to find that out, I think, very quickly on Sunday. So yeah, I think you got to either hold them or if you have the bench bench space.
Christian Watson is going to turn into like Tom Hanks and he's just gonna be like shirtless painting. Uh, you know, a face on a football Wilson. He's just never going to see a red zone target again. Poor Christian Watson. I feel bad for the guy. H bucks Man new to the Fantasy pros discord is a little tag that I see. Bucks What's up, dude?
Hey, that's a good on you guys can hear me?
Good? We got you good?
A perfect also quoick question. I'm in the ten man Standard League and I've got a bit of a log jam at receiver. I've got amar Rah, I have Godwin, I have a Yuk, I have Stephan Dies and Terry mclauren so out and Brian Thomas junior. So I was looking to trade to a way to get some running back help, preferably preferably Josh Jacobs, which two I was thinking Diggs in mclauren. But which which two would y'all would you say to trade?
That's he does all of the dudes in there. I love personally trading Digs. He was on my trade away thing this week, so I love adding him with the other piece is like a good sell high. Do you think McLaurin and Diggs get you Jacobs in like a smaller league Erickson?
I think so, and I think again your your process with selling Steffon Diggs makes a lot of sense. We have to stop looking at trades as when you're trying to figure out who you should trade, to trade the worst player of your group. You have to think of that as what can I get back the most from?
Yeah?
Right, that's how you need to think about these trades. You're not trying to trade the worst player, You're trying to get the most back. So, yes, Diggs, does he have a pee on the Texas offense? Of course he does. He scored two touchdowns last week. That's great, but he's not got score two touchdowns every single week like you outlined in the show. So if he can get you something strong in return, yeah, he has value, but you're getting value back at a position that you need more, so I think the McLaurin digs for Jacobs. Yeah, if anything, maybe you could shoot a little bit higher. I know the crowd is kind of down on ETN because of the tank bigsby week one stat line, but Doug Peterson was pretty bullish after the game, saying, yeah, we still got to feed ETN, so that may be a by low opportunity to upgrade your running back role. But I think you're thinking about it the right way, selling high on digs and throwing McLaurin as another chip as part of the move.
I like how you said that. I think he is too. I think one hundred percent you are thinking about it correctly. I'm not trading a manra that's like my one stink.
Oh yeah, and they don't.
Because the person's going to be like, oh moner stumpable and just you know, tell that person to you know, skip off. But like, I'm not doing anything with him. I personally also don't want to do anything without you because it's like both of those guys feel very sell lowish for this week. But what your thought process is absolutely correct and move forward with Diggs and McLaurin, and if you pull it off, I think that's great. And yeah, there's some good names in there that you could target. And who's that you said?
Uh?
Was it Aaron? Who's the running back that you just said to buy Law said et et I was thinking Aaron Jones in that offense. Yeah, I like the ETN one. Ken Walker's a little bit banged up. Maybe that's even one that you could try to, you know, slide in. There's some good backs that you could maybe even a chan To be honest with you, I know it's like late run here and if Penning how he plays or goes or anything like that, But I don't know, maybe that's something you could you could slide in. Will w on the line with Ericson and Welsh.
What's up, dude?
We got you good?
How are you good?
Dude?
How are you doing awesome?
Thank you. I'm in a twelve man pp full PPR scoring league and I've got a wide receiver two and a flex spot and four guys that I'm trying to for receivers. I'm trying to slot in there. Curious about your thoughts. So I got Jamison Williams, you know, wondering about the ankle this week. DeMarcus Robinson how much slack because he gonna pick up with Puka Gone one, Dale Robinson, and I also have Devin Singletary that I was thinking of putting in there.
And you said, you need to get one of these guys in a flex.
One in a receiver spot, and one in a flex spot.
Okay, so we can start theoretically two of them, but we have to start at least one wide receipt, which there's three wide receivers. Okay, so that's a good one. So it was Jamison Williams, DeMarcus Robinson, Wandell, and Devin Singletary. I love that he brought up Jamison because I think I don't know if Jamison versus DeMarcus is like close, but I think the theory's in there. I love Jamison Williams draft I have him in a couple spots. Wish I had him in more. He does not. This doesn't have the feels where he's going to go back to old school Jamison Williams. He obviously had a really high target share, which is not going to maintain just because like a manra On Laporta, like that's gonna just but once those guys start getting going, Jamison Williams looks like there's this great separation. I lean when I hear this as an easy Jamison Williams and Devin Singletary for volume in here, Erickson, do you feel differently, especially with like a DeMarcus Robinson who could end up you don't want to say he's not going to take the pooka role because he's actually not changing his physical role. Could he get more targets? What do you think about this situation?
No, I kind of see the way you do. Honestly, I'm not as high on DeMarcus Robinson just because, like you said, I don't think his role is going to change. Think he's still the wide receiver three quote unquote in the offense, and you're going to see Tyler Johnson and Slash or Jordan Winnington upgrade into that Pooka nakua role, and then you have the are they going to play two tight end sets more? Again? Again, I don't know if this is like a hot take or not, but I feel like the Rams offense what we see this week is going to look very different from what we saw last week. Because when you're adjusting on the fly, you lose one of your top receivers, half your offensive line gets hurt mid game, you kind of have to throw everything out the window, be like, well, we got to throw the ball of Cooper Cup because that's our that's what we have to do, Like we don't have time to like figure out a new game plan. So I think that's why we saw what we saw last Sunday night was twenty one targets for Cooper Cup and ultimately it was they came up just short. But I think that the game plan is going to be way different this week. You look at Arizona, what's their weakness the run defense? It's horrible, And I think that it's easier to game plan around offensive line problems as run blockers versus in pass protection. Like are they going to drop back fifty times with Stafford and a bunch of backups? That makes no sense to me, especially when Arizona's bad against the run, so more tight ends. I don't think this is the DeMarcus problems in week. That's just me. So I rates JMO And then did he say it was full PPR or oh.
I don't know, does it okay? Would that change you for Wanda or something.
Or the only thing I'd lean is Wandal, I mean he's going to get six or sixty. I think like locked in low. I mean the Planet Commanders, right, So I feel like he's got a pretty high force similar to Singletary, but it was half PPR. Singletary definitely has that touchdown equity. So if the Giants score, which they should, it is the Commanders and they're horrible. I do think I do prefer Singletary over Wandell and the happypr because I think both Giants players should see some volume. But I don't obviously want to play two Giants.
I think that's going to get it. That's good insight too. I would say, like I think what a lot of these teams, specifically like the Packers with Willis and even the Giants in just how horrifically bad Daniel Jones is. They need to put Daniel Jones in better leverage situations. And I think that's shorter passes, and that not only speaks to Wandell, but I think that speaks to actually the receptions coming back in favor of Devin Singletary. You know, some screen passes, like guys make plays. If you can get a you know, two Mississippi, you can get to Malik Neighbors, who has really good separation rates.
Yeah, I would. I would say in intrel Firman brought this up when we're talking about our Best Bets show because he's a Giants fan famously, but he talked about how it just seems like Daniel Jones doesn't have his confidence, which I think that that's pretty spot on analysis. But if there's any any team that you can build confidence against, it's the Commanders and it's their secondary and it's absolutely atrocious.
That's good.
And there's one team that Daniel Jones actually been good against and it's been Washington. So he knows that this is a big game for him, and I think he's gonna be able to take advantage. So I would say maybe because of my final last words, start your Giants question work.
Can you believe by the way fifteen rushing yards through the second quarter? We were oh, no, Ericson, no one knows this, never said it. Ericson absolutely cabosched this after we did this prop show because I love Ericson. He's just Erickson by the way, builds you up. That's the type of guy that he is, and he goes love these props and he goes, by the way, Daniel Jones probably the best bet of the week, and I was like, oh no. And then Daniel Jones fifteen yards rushing in the second quarter, did not attempt to rush the rest of the game. I am that they went to him and said, you have to stop running, and they kobash that because there were so many opportunities he could have done it and we did not hit the rushing yard prop Erickson.
Was.
It was a you gotta be careful with the best mats.
Sometimes you do you sure do? All right? A couple more here, we'll go into a little bit more rapid fire. And our boy Bogman is in the chat. I'm gonna bring him up at the very end as well. Celebrities in the chat. Schmidt though, Schmid, what you got dude?
What's going on?
Guys?
How are we doing?
What up?
What up?
So?
I need some advice here. I feel like I'm pretty deep at running back, but my wide receivers are pretty pretty shaky. For running backs, I got Derrick, Henry, JK and Montgomery first starters, and on my bench I got two both Warren Justice Hill and Jalen Wright. But my receivers are just and Jefferson T. Higgins who've injured right now, Kerry McLaurin, Brandon Cooks, and.
Luke McCaffrey.
So are you looking at you gotta sell? You gotta sell JK. Dobbins.
Yeah.
I think that's the thing we've been hitting is sell Jacob. What do you think did we ever talk about what the Dobbins like wide receiver math equation equates to, like, what do you think a reasonable wide receiver you can get for Dobbins right now?
I mean I thought Jane Reid was a good bar especially because I think that I mean, he's coming off of a massive game, but he's also has quarterback injuries. So I thought that would work.
Do you think do you think you can get Jameson Williams?
I think so. I think that should work. It's a little bit scary because I do want to make sure that he's healthy first, again, because you're that's so that's my one real tank? Yeah, Tank, that would be one that I could do. But again, Dobbins is the is the guy that you need to move for a wide receiver. And again this is not to say that Dobbins is bad. He's not bad, but again, to get something of value, you have to trade something of value. That's like one of the biggest things that comes to trades. Like you can't just trade garbage to get value. It just doesn't work. That you have to appeace to the other manager in some way, shape or form. So maybe you find the McCaffrey manager who doesn't have Jordan Mason. Hey you want Dobbins, You have the receiver on your bench. That's a big a deal. Great. So that's how I would.
I like that.
You have ever seen if you worked in a corporate setting, ever have like a boss that has like one of those little tiny plaques on their desk that's like just one saying that's you're saying. Right there, You're plaque saying it's like, to get value, you must trade value. It's very poetic.
I love it.
I'm getting it. I'm getting get tattooed next to the draft the Packers receiver and Therocos running back.
We might have tak a tattoo removal sponsor.
Hey, well, j Julia, we're okay. Jaliel's okay. I mean, I mean Jordan love God and Jay Reed leads the NFL receiving yard as well, so I don't see what the issue is.
Oh well, he's pacing out to have like two thousand yards. It's a great deal.
I know. He doesn't even have Jordan love anymore.
Red Beard, what's up? Red Beard? Oh no, poor red Beard? Going once? Why is it the end of the show. What's the end of the show with like issues? Hash Slinger, it's the people at the it's it's you're becoming a type of people at the end of the show. You all your MIC's don't work. Hash? You there?
What's up?
Guys?
Can you hear me? We got you?
Hey?
First off, apologize in advance if you've already answered a lot of eight Chan questions.
Oh my god, Hash, that's all we've answered. Yes, make it quick, make it quick.
Gone off for one hundred and fifty yards. He's already scored two touchdowns.
Yeah, come on, Hash or powered full point PPR. I'm projected to win by twenty who who uh eight Chan or pollared?
Oh eight Chan or Pollard? Sorry, I mean if eh Chan is starting, I was I was playing so.
Again the thing with a Chan. Look, he's a player that already plays limited snaps anyway, right, we don't need him to be an eighty percent snap share to play. He can play five snaps and pay off. So if he's active, you're playing him.
One hundred percent and Wilson will take over that other role whatever capacity that it's going to look like. So we're in a good spot. Split Kiwi remember on the Fantasy Pros discord? What's up?
Split? Yeah?
After you guys, how you doing good?
Good?
Good?
What you got your thing animates your little discord thing?
Do you know that?
Mecu?
Look sorry, I'm like, I'm like enamored with it.
Like a crown.
It's a playing Fortnite for like ten minutes, I think, is what it is.
Yeah, you got like a crown on some animal that's being cut into a cute. You know what, if I don't know a better way to sell these people on coming into our discord, it's coming to look at split Kiwi's emote emoji thing.
All right, tell you all right, Well, I just want to say thank you for help for Fantasy And quick question on a trade.
I have.
Currently Devin Singletary and Molik neighbors and I'm trying to trade them away for Montgomery and Drake London. So I don't know if that's who I should trade, if that's good trade for me, or if I should offer a Chase and see if I could go for Gibbs instead of Montgomery.
Okay, so he'd be trading neighbors in Singletary and then he gets David Montgomery and who's the other wise and Drake London.
I like this trade. I think that London and neighbors are flat overall, again like not great week ones, but like high upside receivers. You could see the path, but you also see the downside potentially. And then Singletary rose Montgomery is no debate. It's Montgomery. So I would I would take the Montgomery side. Uh.
Yeah, I think I'm with you on that one. I don't want to Chase. I don't think I want to trade Chase to go get Gibbs now right now.
I don't want to do that.
He seems to want the Lions offense. I think that's what what key.
We've not a bad strategy.
It's not the worst strategy on the planet. No one, Uh, celebrity in the chat, mister Scott Bogman, click it. Don't don't be the guy that doesn't click and come up on stage Scott Bogman, what's up?
Is everything working?
Yeah? I can you hear us?
Yeah?
Thanks for joining hear me? Are you doing like are you gonna do like regular bits? You're gonna just come on the show and like hang with us at the last five minutes. It's like the radio thing, you know, like where a radio show is going to turn over to another one and we have them on. What's up?
Dude?
Yeah, I might. I like listening to you guys. I like listening to the perspective here and everything.
What's your fantasy question from someone that ranked higher than you this week?
I have a question about Devin h Chan. If you guys have any no.
I'm gonna mute you. Get out of here.
Get it out of here.
Aren't you busy recording? By the way, Scott Bogman, you guys got to go check it out on the football the college football side. You guys just finished up Trel Furman and Seth. You guys just did the college preview and you got your prop video coming up here on Friday. Correct, that's right.
I do my my top bets for the week and then some player props as well. So uh lost the money from my Thursday night success on the college sideline week, but I did hit a huge five way prop that worked out.
So if ericson a prop that he needs to bet this week, Erickson needs a Saturday college We need to get Ericson into the college football problem. You know you don't, Yes, we do.
Listen Ericson. Come on, you know, look, we'll we'll find you a couple that maybe you like. What what's your favorite college team, Erickson?
I don't really have one. I do like I am fond of Notre Dame. I do like Oregon because of the Ducks, So I think that's kind of cool.
You like it because it's a duck.
Because of the ducks. I don't know. I just like together.
Mine.
My uncle went to Notre Dame, so that's why I also like Notre Dame. But I know that they had been collapsed last.
Week, those those sobs, I was not happy with them last week. I had the over in that game. I didn't know. It seems like your boy Riley Leonard might have a shoulder tear. So we're going to take the under on whatever they give us for Riley Leonard this week.
So and we'll see.
But yeah, thanks for having me up here.
Well, you got anything else in the fantasy question, but that's not Devin h Chan.
Yeah, one thing to if I could. I am on Monday night here on the Fantasy Pros discord. I will be watching the Monday night football game with listeners if you want to come in and have fun with us and watch it. We're doing this promotion through the locker app where it's a big contest and what you do is you're going to get a question before each drive and it's going to say something like over under rushing yards, who's going to have the most receptions in this drive? How will this drive in punt interception? You know Welsh and I did this last year. Yeah, and we have big payouts for the season and you can do as many games as you want. What happens is it takes your top five scores and give you an average, and if you're in the top ten of our league on Fantasy Pros, then you are going to get some So it's a fun contest. You can check it out. I will be I'll be answering some questions in a little bit here too as well. And of course it's and I are on every third Tuesday, So next Tuesday, we will be on answering Dynasty questions, but we're gonna be doing that on the Fantasy Pros Discord for the first half of the Monday night football game. So it's gonna be a lot of fun. And I hope to see you guys there.
That's pretty sweet. Thanks, Boggy's that'll be fun. I want to the locker is fun. I like doing those things, Ericson, because you and I are also we're just kind of you know, I don't want to label degenerates, but we like it. Ericson and I talked throughout the week. People didn't know there's this little feature before we start the show. Sometimes you get the show before the show, and Ericson and I were talking about prop bets and we were talking about some of those things. I should have asked Bogmin, what does he like better Jordan Aikins plus two twenty five anytime touchdown or Tank Dell plus two zero five. That's still a crazy number.
Ericson, I mean, the books just know it's Jordan Naked's week.
Apparently, well he said del though, yeah, yeah, they're just on it.
Just they I mean, he does have again, no reason I know about Akins is because very early in my fantasy career, I was like obsessed with Jordan Nakeds. He's a former baseball player.
Well did you I did not know that?
No, I mean, we's Wikipedia is lying to me. He was a former baseball player, so he's like an older tight end, kind of like the Hayden Hurst type of route where I played baseball and then like changing the football I think it was. I think he went to UCF. I think yea, yeah, so yeah, Aikans have always kind of a Nacan's truther and he is one of the few carryovers from Deshaun Watsons Houston days. So once upon a time when John Watson was actually good, Jordannakeans was good too, so they do have some chemistry. And with Noan Joku, I'm just saying like, I'm in the tight end Premium Dynasty League and I am starting Jordan Akins because David Joku was my starter and he's injured and you have to start two tight ends. So last week I rolled out Juwan Johnson and David and Joko and Jawon Johnson caught a touchdown so it felt good, and this week it's gonna be Juwan Johnson and Jordan Agans.
And Jehaun Watson is just an absolutely horrible quarterback, and you got to build up his confidence. There's a lot to not be confident about and checkdown, shut it down, short passes to a tight end that he's familiar with. He's got to get something right because everything is going up wrong. So that might be a pretty pretty good bet you get in. Catch ericson and I again on betting pros on Friday. If you guys want to talk some prop bets, Erics and I will be giving our top prop bets. We're giving our touchdown bets. Erickson was phenomenal in prop bets. I was a pile of garbage. But I did hit two of my three touchdown calls, and I think Erickson, you might have hit both of yours. You were just absolutely on.
I got so hamy, I barely got the Dame.
You got one of them.
You have one right at the end of the game. He scored. But I'm going to start that rollover. I talked about it like, hey, I'm going to take those winnings rolled over to another Dave Montgomery anytime touchdown the a long. We can ride this baby. Out nice.
