Historical and Theological References

Project Blue Beam. Published in 1994 by Canadian journalist Serge Monast, who claimed NASA and the United Nations were preparing a technologically simulated second coming of Christ using satellite-based holography, voice-to-skull broadcasting, and a staged alien invasion. Monast died of a heart attack at 51 in 1996. The framework has been criticized, but every piece of the technology he described now exists and has been tested.

The PURSUE Program. The Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters, launched by the Pentagon in May 2025 with 162 declassified files. The portal (war.gov/UFO) represents the first publicly accessible government archive of UAP-related documents.

The Ecclesia. Jenny Embrey highlights the Greek word ecclesia in Matthew 16:18, which means "the called-out ones." The word translated as "church" in most English Bibles originally referred to a governing assembly of citizens summoned for a purpose, not a building or institution.
