A recent article in The Star raised the topic of saving for rainy days. But that can be complicated right now, with wages in Malaysia being low, and the rising cost of food, gas and loans. So we look at the practice of saving money in the Malaysian context, and how to do it even - or perhaps especially - when times are tough.
