Dashcams have been around for a long time, but it's not seen as a common practice for people to install one in their vehicles, with most constraints revolving around cost. Universiti Putra Malaysia head of the Putra Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion Research Group Professor Dr Kulanthayan Mani, spoke to us about why the government should promote its usage with stakeholders, like insurance agents and car companies.
