An op-ed on Malaysiakini expressed concerns regarding the filing of police reports, and the neccesity of lodging one. There have been cases where those who lodge a police report have withdrawn, and alleged crimininals exonorated of their crimes, which raises questions on whether the law and justice system can be misused.
