This evening, we talk about the announcement of the online premiere of “Mobilize: The Documentary”, a compelling documentary that chronicles the inspiring story of a group of volunteers who, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, launched a grassroots communications eHort to address critical information gaps. This initiative, called COVID Comms, has since evolved into Mobilize, a fully-fledged communications and mobilisation social enterprise committed to providing accessible information on pressing social issues such as energy and climate change. To tell us more about this documentary we’re joined by Chris Vick, Chairperson of the Mobilize Agency and Mesia Gumede, Mobilize documentary director at 76 Media.

This evening on “In Conversation with Dr Eve, we talk about the trauma of parenting. We take a deep dive- with compassion and no judgement - as to why parents/caregivers struggle to parent ... and this is because they themselves might not have been securely parented, that perhaps they were neglected, abandoned or sexually violated, living in an unsafe parental environment. This would make them anxious /afraid/guilty, highly disciplinarian or highly lax with no boundaries with their own children. We offer some ways of managing the trauma they experienced as children and how to present this being passed onto their own children and Dr Eve joins us for this discussion.
