In today's episode of The Engaging Marketeer, Emily took to the mic to interview Maira Sheikh for an intimate discussion on having your own back in a world where, particularly as a woman, it can be easy to feel intimidated or overlooked.

Maira is a personal brand photographer based in Cheshire, who works primarily with women in business. Her goal is to help them feel more confident in front of the camera, increasing their visibility in marketing - which, in turn, helps them attract more clients.

Topics in today's talk include how Maira was expected to bleach her skin from a young age to conform to societal expectations, the industry's unobtainable beauty standards and how, sometimes, the biggest obstacle standing in your way is your own self doubt.
