Additionally, the hosts share insights on running their own businesses and conducting workshops on disability and inclusion for various organisations, highlighting their Favourite aspects of their current jobs.

We discuss necessary adjustments such as flexible hours and breaks, as well as employment barriers, particularly the challenges surrounding disability disclosure. Unconscious bias is also a focal point, with discussions on how some employers may overly concentrate on disability rather than the job itself, along with the hurdles faced in securing employment and more.

SYN x The Attitude Foundation presents: Emerging Voices. 

The Emerging Voices work experience program provides a platform for people with disability to write and produce media content, creating a more accessible opportunity for people with disability to gain further training and experience in their chosen area of media. 

Each round invites 10 new participants to share their stories and add their voice to the community radio space here at SYN. All episodes are produced, hosted and curated by Emerging Voices participants.
