In this Phone Tap Great Tea playing the part of the former tenant is calling the new tenants to talk to them about something he left behind in the apartment. Blow. Hey, how you doing? Who's this? Who? Who is this? You called me? Uh? So, my name is Dave. I'm the guy who used to live in your town house. And uh I was talking to your girlfriend Sarah earlier and she won't let me in. But I just need to get into the crawl space above your closet. And I think you know I I left something there that's pretty valuable to me and I need to go get it and it won't really take long. But first of all, I don't even know who you are. And the second of all, who is that important. I don't know why you shore it first place. What's up there is very valuable, and when it hits the street, it's going to bring in a lot of money. Because right now you're your girls telling me that I can't get in the house, that I'm not allowed until i'm there. First of all, Yeah, but I can't wait. You're at work right now and I need to get there, and I got to get my stuff. But if it was that important, I don't know why I just didn't in the first place. Well, that's define what we see. What happened right Well, you know I had to get out of there pretty quick. I didn't have time. I need to make a move sometimes in well, in my line of work, sometimes you gotta get it and go pretty quick. I'm gonna trying to cause problem here, but I need to go get my stuff. If you're if you go to the house, I'm gonna have to call the police. Listen, okay, back up, back up, back. That's what I don't want to do. I don't want to bring the authorities into this at all. I want to walk in. I want to go right to my class when i'm there, not when you just show up right down that is just not gonna work out. I can easily break a window. I've done it before. You don't think I've crawled into that place. And I can break your face if I see you near my house. Okay, listen, you're making me laugh. Okay, I don't think you're breaking anybody's face. Okay, great, So Sarah, listen, I'm gonna want you. He's calling you right now. Should I answer? No? No, no, no, okay, Okay, we're gonna call him back. You will do the talking. Okay, but I just got a call from the sky. Don't kanic. But he's he's definitely bizarre. I mean, he says, he says, he's right down the street alone. What am I supposed to do? I need you to lock the door. I need you to lock the windows. So man, anyone in the house, well right, I need you right now here. I have a meeting right now. Okay, I don't want to get to sit here, but I thought, just like leave my job right the fact I can see him climbing up the back deck right now. Um okay, well just right, wait listen, he's like literally looking through our like things, and he's looking right now. He's like most thing for me to come to him. No, no, no him, open the door for me, please, just like you got to go to a room and lock the door. I just need to come in and down my style. Listen, listen to me. He is on the back deck and he's coming towards the back door. Open that door, please the door. I'm getting out a work all right, So I'll be holding a secon. She's gonna go real quick and just ask him what he needs. Open the door to door really quick. Don't over the door. Hi, Ryan, Sarah and myself have just phone tap to you. What this is a joke. Maybe there's no one at the door. What are you talking about? Ryan, I'm great morning show. You just got phone tapped. So have an idea for a phone tap Ellstran dot com. Click on the phone tap tap tell us what you want to do. This phone table was prerecorded with permission granted by All Party Space Elvie Duran phone tab. We're on Elvie durand in the morning show. Are you wondering why your Ritza is in the room with us? Yeah? I like you because I'm talking about your Ritz. Crackers was my nickname in high school. I love Ritch crackers, and every time I eat a rich cracker, I think of your Rits. That's good. That's the only reason she's here. Yeah, that's all right. Well, as you know your Ritza, they now have these new rit crisp and thin chips. That's really good. We're going to rename them your Ritz crisp and thin chips. What's great about them? If you love potato chips, that thin crunch, it also has that the essence of rich crackers. And it done oven and oven baked too. It's like that salty with just like a little bit of sweet, just like your Ritz. If you want to add some extra something to your next party, number one, invite your Ritza number two flavor it up with new Ritz Crispin thins and four flavors sea salt, cream, cheese and onion, bacon, and salt and vinegar. There are so many people who are so obsessed with that salt and vinegar flavor. And when you put them on these new rich Crispin thin chips, La la your Ritza. Thank you for coming in for the Ritz. Now I need rits. Rich Crispin thin chips is what you need. Thanks for stopping by. It's always a Pleasure in the morning show. Here it is the weekend, so excited Lord is coming and she's bringing some new music from her new album. I love the Lord song that we're playing now. It's so it's so unusually fresh sounding. Yeah, it's a little bit. It's got like two personalities to it. It's melo drama, right, it really is melodramas. It's melo dramatic. Uh so what's great about it reminds me of and I'm gonna tell this to Lord when I first heard when I first heard Bohemian Rhapsody. Yeah, it's like seventeen different songs raped into one because the song when you when you play it, it just builds and builds and build. It's called green Light is the name of the song. Melo. Yeah, I just like melo drama. I think we may be getting melo drama today. So green Light is the name of the song I'm talking about. And it's like a lot of songs wrapped into one. It's so cool And I love that because you don't hear that in music a lot. It's usually just one song. It sounds the same from the beginning to the end. Melo Drama is the name of the CDC, right right, but green Light love it, and I know you all love it. Lord, fantastic, great story. Let's get into the Danielle Report. Danielle all right, So Radar Online is claiming that Kim Kardashian wants to release a cookbook that involves her posing naked with the food. Kim's people are saying, really, that is absolutely ridiculous. We're not coming out with a cookbook like that unless it's full of recipes for roast. Yes, that makes that. I guess that that actually would make sense. So, like we were saying, Lord's new album comes out June sixteenth, it will be called Melodrama. I'm hoping she gives us, like some more singles today. Maybe she'll give us a sneak peek into some others music. I will tell you, Danielle, we've been trying. We've been trying to get some more singles out of her. Maybe they'll let one drop today. I'm trying to get Charlie Walked to agree to it. He come on, he loves us, and this is pretty cool. The cast of Hamilton's donated their salaries on Wednesday in honor of International Women's Day. They actually donated to Dress to Success, which is an organization we have been supporting for years. You just shocked me. Sorry, just sorry, Ny just touched me and it shocked my ears and my entire body. I'm sorry. Startup story. Does that mean thing? No, it means it's a static electricity in the air. Come on, Mr Wizard. Uh So. Hamilton's donated their salaries on Wednesday and hot of International Women's Day to Dress for Success. They are a global nonprofit organization that provides professional attire for low income women to help support their job search and interview process. We have been working with them for years. They're an unbelievable organization. And the fact that the entire cast gave up their salary for one full day, that is awesome. And you know, the Hamilton's cast salary has to be getting up there exactly. That's great. What if we gave up our salary for a day that I think it would be good for some people, not for others. They would get roughly seven whole dollars. Katie Ferry in America Ferrara, they will be honored by the Human Rights Campaign for their work in the support of the LGBTQ community. Katie is going to receive the National Equality Award at the organization's Los Angeles Galla on March a teen. So that's pretty cool. And you, guys, remember when Nicole Kidman was called clapping in that weird way at the oscars? Is that meme going around? It was like a nails were wet and she didn't want to get them wet. The little seal clap. Well, she says it's because she borrowed expensive jewelry and she was worried she would damage the rings if she caught. Normally. Okay, that actually makes sense to me. I don't think I would ever even think of that. But if you had two million dollars on your hands, you would think about that. I guess I would be more worried about losing them. Also that that would be me. I'd lose the money. A Game of Thrones gets to date. Guys, you ready write it down July? Oh, the Game of Throne. Fines are so excited. And did you hear about Rough Night Movie? You have to check this out Rough Night Movie dot com. Scarlett Johansson is in the movie. Kate McKinnon's in the movie. It comes out June six. It's about these girls from college who get reunited for a bachelorette party ten years later. So they're having the bachelor party in Miami and they accidentally kill a male stripper, and then the whole movie that they're trying to cover it up. So it looks like it's going to be so funny. What a great story, because it happens every day and rough Nights you should know that Michael Jacox rough Night movie dot com. Go check it out. Uh. And tonight it's the series finale of The Vampire Diaries. They're wrapping it all up tonight. This weekend, SNL gives you Scarlett Johansson and Lord will be there, The Walking Deadison, Shades of Blue, and you also have the second episode of Feud, which you've been loving. God, I can't wait. That's on Sunday. And that yeah, that's I think it's late Saturday, Saturday, the Kids Choice Awards. John Cena will be your host over Nickelodeon. I'll let's say hello to the it's history Tech, professional Day, histor Tech. But also, you know, in this day and age of of divisive, divisive country, divisive politics, this and that you have these marches, you have the Women's March, and you have you have a million man march, million women March, million everyone march. But finally one finally makes sense. Kathleen, Yes, tell us about the march that you attended. Yeah, no, I an attend. I liked the event. Okay, the event was what it's going to be a March for science, the March for Science and it's happening in New York City on April two, and I bet it's happening in other cities around the country. March for Science. Yeah. I think that's so fun. You know, let's have marches for for all sorts of things. Yeah. I have a lot of scientists in my family, so I'm going to go and support them. I've never heard anyone say that I love the March for Science. Yeah, the March of Science. Go to March for Science dot com. Wow, keep it simple. So what is the March of Science all about? What are we What are we trying to tell the world with our March of Science? Well, that people respect science based theories instead of I guess other based theory. Okay, so there is a there is political undertone. Really, Okay, they should leave the mark. Okay, I didn't know there was there was actually a political thing going. There is a political undertone to the marches. Some on their website, though it also says we are people who value science, recognize how science serves become from all races, all religions, all gender identities, all sexual orientations, all abilities, all socio economic backgrounds, all political perspectives, all nationalities. So everyone's invited except for great tea here. Why can't I go? Because you never ever passed to science class in your time's that's that's not because I was dominant, because I was lazy. You're smoking pot So you know what, maybe maybe you could contribute by by being, uh, a subject that the scientists they can such study, dissect you, dissect you. We don't want people to test on animals, so we just test on great teath. I love how she comes into talk about this wearing her nasty woman T shirt. Thank you, thank you, the March for Science. All right? Uh? Loving that? So what do you want to get into today? I left all my prep back on my desk, so I think it's pot luck time. I like it when you just take random callers. No one's calling. Oh here's someone now, Hello, Hello, Welcome to the show Randall caller, thank you, um other day and you're doing morning senders on it. We're doing what what were we doing? Svenders? Minds benders? Yeas? Oh yeah, yeah yeah, track questions, mind benders Yeah great, great tea was failing at all of them, miserably. Why do you have one for us? You know what I want to tell you. I'm a teacher. I've been doing the money vendors one morning my kids and they love. I wish you had one for us right on the top of your head. But do you know why? Because your mind is too bent. Sometimes we bend our minds way too much. But yeah, you know, it's very good and it's a proven fact that if you challenge the mind, if you exercise your brain, it's good for you. It's very good for your for your yours. See. Obviously I'm not doing them because I can't come over the words. And it's really good for kids because you know, if you start them out doing those things early on, it really does make them think a little bit more. Good, make them think great. Team need to think more. Well, thank you for your call. Let's hear for all teachers. Yeah I should. I will tell you something that's going on scary is going to a co ed baby shower tomorrow, and for some reason he feels like this is the strangest oddest thing ever. I like that. I like that they're doing it. You're both. I do like where they're going with it. But when I said I was going both, you Bethany and you, Danielle said that they're sometimes kind of boring. So it makes me wonder what goes on at these and then should we rethink them to make them more Well, first of all, we don't. You don't need to rethink anything because you're not having a baby and not throwing a baby shower. But you know what, they get points for trying to mix it up by an inviting guys too, so obviously they know it's boring, and they'll probably have some games where you can win some prizes, kind of games like that, you like, you know, you guess what she's going to open, like what she's going to get that being baby at the table, they put old diapers on the dishes and then they put a little piece of candy bar in one of the diapers, and whoever gets the food in the divers one where you take rolls of toilet paper, which is incredibly wasteful, and you guess how much toilet paper it's going to take to go around her entire belly. And then whoever gets okay, okay, okay can't handle anymore. This is why Danielle and Bethany were talking about how much they hate baby showers. It sounds like the most most awful hell ever. The worst part to me, honestly, is sitting there watching the person open the gifts for three hours, because to me, it should be put everything in clear cell of phane. We'll see what you got. Wonderful. Congratulations. Let's play games and drinking, except you can't drink. Like I said, they obviously wanted to have a baby shower, but by inviting guys, maybe it'll be different because maybe no games, because that sounds the dynamic is that sounds awful? Drinking games, Let's get everyone gets drunk except for the mom to be okay, changing changing gears. Let's go talk to Losandra. Hi, Losandra, how are you doing good? Are you doing well? Tell everyone where you're going right now? Um, I'm leaving for attendance. You're going to flight attendant training. Yeah, so you don't get motion sick. And you're very good under pressure. I would assume you know what's actually I do most motions. Hi, welcome aboard, thank you, bye bye bye bye bye. Well, look, and I remind people, because I fly a lot, flight attendants are not there to be your waiters and waitresses in the sky. They are there to keep first and foremost safety. Yeah, they're there to save your damn life, exactly, absolutely, And that's why the flight's en. It's six and a half weeks and I'm away from my family. And wow, no, so you're gonna be far away from your family for a month and a half. Yes, that's you know what, if you look at the grand scheme of things, Losandra, are you with me? Your your life starts way over here on the on the left, and it goes all the way here on the right, and these these this month and a half is a little bitty blip in the middle. You're gonna be You're gonna be great. You're gonna meet great people, you're gonna learn a whole new culture at the Airline Training Academy, whatever it is. You're gonna have a great time and you're gonna get good to go down one of those inflatable slides on the side. When you get home, they're going to appreciate you so much more and you're gonna be so excited to have you back. There's it's true. It's Daniel's right there, sick of you, and they want you to go away, Go away, Sandra, this is great. You should look at this as an adventure and it may be a little scary because it's a little unknown, but once you get there, you're gonna love it. Congratulations to you, thank you, thank you so much, and I can't wait to fly on your flights. Yeah, okay, just don't throw up on me, alright, los Andre, thank you so much, and uh have fun. Yeah okay, by wow. That's that's one of those jobs that still seems so exotic to me. Yea, I have no idea how their schedules work, what they look like on paper, where they live. It's a whole different world. Mom wanted to do this be a flight attendant. My grandfather would not let her move away from home and live with the other flight attendants. That's what they do, Daniel. My friend Brad flew for American Airlines for many years and there were I think there were eight of them that had one little apartment here in New York City and they had bunk beds. Yeah, and because they would just kind of come in and leave. I mean that's the only way they could afford to do it, you know, didn't They used to be like spies back in the day. Oh they still are. So we watched that flight attendant. No, they're still spies. That's great. Flight attendants are spies. They're always watching well, first of all, the first and foremost their spies for the captain. Yeah, if you see any hanky panky going around, you tell the captain. Hello, Jane, welcome to Friday. What's going on with you? Hi? How are you? We're doing great? So you have never been to a baby shower? Congratulations, I've never been to a baby shower that only had woman. How great? So tell Scary what he's in store for. It's it's just for for us. I mean, I'm Filipino and everyone in a family would just gather and we do have games sometimes but not most of the time, and we're just eating and gathering together. It's not it's really different from when I hear from you guys. That sounds like it sounds better than those white people. I know, to go to the Filipino shower. That sounds like a lot more fun. I agree, Jane. That's the way you're there to celebrate a new member of the family. That's all the way it should be fun. You shouldn't be wrapping toilet paper around each other. But all right, Jane, thank you, have a great weekend. Love you. That's you know what as wee can outpe someone invites me to a Filipino baby show. You don't want to be the baby tasting food game. I don't want to taste babies. No, I know you guess what baby food I'm feeding you? No? No, I don't want any beach nut in my mouth. Beech nut? Is that is that gum? Good morning? Good morning, Jessica. I get confused. Hi Jessica, Hi Danielle, you would have loved to be at my baby shower. We had a baby barbecue Colby barbecue babies. Never really I've heard of putting a barbie on the bill, but on the on the barbie. But wait, shrimp on a new direction direction your barbecue? Baby? So do they come out tender? I mean it depends how you like your baby. Did you play games? No? We didn't have any games. It was colored friends, don't wrap the gift. We just had a big old party. Baby I like, I like boneless baby barbecues. Say that three times fast, bonous baby barbecues, bonus baby barbecues. Yeah, everybody had a good time. It was very low key perfect. That sounds fun. I would do that. That sounds like the kind of baby shower. Yeah, definitely the way to go. I never understood the name shower because to me, that's something you do in the morning before you go to school, going to shower you with gifts. Well, we were going to call it a baby bash, but I didn't think that would go over too well. Baby for barbecue babies, and it sounds so violent. All right, well, thank you, thank you. That's a very great weekend. Baby Bass was a singer, right yeah, I think so, Sugar. So if you're gonna do a you're gonna do a co ed baby shower. You should have fun drinking games. Except for the mother. You feel bad because she can't drink Huggies and chuggies. You see how much of your call tail a huggy can absorb and you suck it out. You have to suck your drinks out of a a doorbit Huggy and the new game. No, it's the worst game at work. No, it's wrong, Danielle, it's the worst game out. I got another one. You take baby bottles and you put alcohol in them, and you clip the nipple on the top, and you whoever drinks the fastest out of the baby bottle wing, I'll have another nipple clipper. I like them. Okay, you know those little suction things they used to get snot out of the baby's nose. So you take a bunch of new ones and you use them to see who can drink their cocktail the fastest by like snorting. And another another time, one more time. I'll tell you I never want to go to one of these parties. I'm not I'm not going. This is a new business for us. Boozy baby show, drop the microphone and walk out is Elvis Durrand in the Morning Show. If you're taking a business trip, you'd be nuts if you didn't use upside dot com. It's the smart new way to buy travel. So we have great tea coming in with a topic train. Let's be encouraging. Let's encourage him today. I enjoy topic Train too. That's why it's still here. It's been here for years. I mean people love it. We we go out and we ask people on the streets, do you like great teas topic Train? Yes, it's a resounding yes it is. I mean sometimes they are better than others. But that's life for all of us and everything we do. That's very true. Hey, um, we have this night the musicians musicians on call night coming up. You guys are coming to this right, Well, I need to ask a favor of you. Do you need to ride? I need to ride? But also I need for you guys to maybe Danielle, you and Bethany bring out an artist or a guest or like go on like do some stage and what not? What announced not not like hosting the hole. What's the date of this? Let me tell you about because I want anyone and everyone who's going to be in the New York area this night to buy a taken and come to it. I'm pulling it up. That's not the George Michael event. That's a different It's a different event. Musicians on Call. Here we go. Musicians on Call is this organization I've been working with for years. They are putting music into hospitals and they have found that the scientists have been right all along. Music has the power to heal. It has the power to move people forward who are in hospitals doing their best to get out of hospitals. I have gone to some of these events and I have seen the music do that. There was one patient where a mariachi band came into the room and the mariachi van was playing and the nurse said to me, never have not seen that person smile in the longest time, and they were smiling. I was with Jewel once and I know what you want, that's it. Yeah, we were with Jewel once and she went from bed to bed and she was making people so happy and so excited. And Avril Levine was the first time I saw Avril Levine smile when she was in the hospital beds helping these people. It was amazing. So why was ever living in the hospital. She no, she was helping the people. He was visiting from hospital hospital. She was having her appendix yea, no, Look, I'll tell you what happened the day I went with a musician. Um, we went to a hospital and in some of these rooms who went into we had to put full body suits on these these cover all things. Was that when you went with Nick Freddyani. Yes, we went with Nick Friday because no germs could leave our body and get near the patients. And he would go in and he would sing acapella because you couldn't take his guitar in and he would sing an entire song to them. And you would watch them. Have you ever watched the flower wake up with the sunshine? You would watch this patient, this, this little girl, I'll never forget. He started singing in his Nick Fridia on his beautiful voice was just filling this room with so much warm You watched her respond and just she just woke up and they said that she hadn't done that in weeks. So that's what musicians on call does. Not only do we take live musicians to these hospitals to sing for patient's bedside, but also we put music in the hospitals. We have music rooms that we're putting together. So musicians on call, uh, they're doing a night. They're honoring me. Actually on this night, Um, they're giving me the golden ukulele I know for support in musicians on call. And so Demi Levado is performing for me and for us. B Miller we love her, and our new favorite performer from across the pond, Leon Else is performing. But Demi Levado when she said yes, it takes me back. What was the song she's saying on the oscars two years? Hello? It was? Was it? Hello? Hello? She hit that one note and I felt, no matter what disease I had, no matter what cold I was sniffing from that one note when she hit it, I immediately came to life. And that's the power of music. And some of these people cannot get out of the beds. So that's the amazing part of bringing this bedside. Sometimes they put on a little concert for the people who can gather together, which is going from room to room and watching their faces light up. It's just it's amazing. Hello every cover. So the point of me I'm talking about this right now and us talking about it is this event is going to March one. I believe it's a Tuesday night, March one here in New York City. It's gonna be a beautiful night. You can buy tickets, you can come support, you can come with your friends. If you go to musicians on Call dot org. You just musicians dot call dot org with you when summon, You're gonna feel the note. When she hits this out, you will feel how music can heal almost anything. Listen to that along with you when side my my and in my dreams. I've kissed your lips a thousand times. Sometimes see you pass outside my door? Hello? You ready for the note? Isn't me looking for read? Be prepared to be healed? Heart, You know what to do. That's why music heals. That is what heals. Thanks to Demi Levado and to have her performing for us that night. Hold On That is one of my favorite musical performances of all time. Well so we want you there join us at the Edison Ballroom, New York City, premium open bar, hold On, hold On food stations heavy or dirt. People were stagging up. Hello Michelle, Hi, what's going on? Michelle? Um. Avril Levine actually went to go visit one of my friends who had cancer in the hospital, and I'll never forget made her so happy. She loved her, talk about it, talk about I mean, I don't know what the outcome was with your friend and her and her of her fighting against cancer, but as far as those moments went with Averrol in the room, talk about how your friend was totally changed. Um, it didn't end well. Um, but she, you know, was always in that hospital, then that of school. This is when we are a lot younger, and um, you know, with the outcomes not looking so good, she wasn't you know, always in the best of moods. But that was one of the things that made her the happiest. I was at the hospital when averyl was there, and there was a little girl who was she wanted to be a fashion designer and she had made all these, um, these designs on paper and stuff and Avril took the time to go in there to look at them, to make the girl feel good, to show the girl that she was interested. And this little girl was so excited. It was like, what an unbelievable moment. Yeah her, Michelle, thank you so musician, musicians on call. Definitely worthy of more discovery, right, yes, yes, I'll check them out. Definitely, thank you so much. You know a lot of people that they're doing a lot of great things. It is social Worker Appreciation Week? Is it really? Yes? Emily, how are you? I'm good? Tell everyone what social Worker Appreciation Week is all about. How we can all take part. So my sister is a social worker out of school and she told me about it yesterday and she was bad that nobody had told her and I said, I didn't know it was social worker Appreciation Week. So basically, you tell a social worker that you appreciate them that the work that they do, you know, helping kids. My sister helps kids with special means every day and she is so awesome, and uh, I want to tell her thank you over the air. And well, what's her name, Emily, what's your sister's name, Lizzie Elizabeth? Oh, yeah, she's my sister. She's awesome. She Uh, she just helps kids so much, and uh, I see her changing her town. And I think everybody should thank a social worker that they know this week. I'm making assumptions here, but I've got to I've got to assume that, Emily, when you and Lizzie, Lizzie were little girls used to like fight each other all the time, and it was terrible. But now look at look at this now that you're in your most important part of your lives. Now look at you on the radio talking about how much you appreciate and love your sister Lizzie. I think, what a great sister you are, Emily. Thank you. She's my best friend. I love her. I love that. So it is officially social worker Appreciation Week. That's incredible. And social workers, I mean, the burnout rate is so high because they are just giving and giving and giving and giving, and so anything that you can do if you know a social worker, to just love them up exactly, thank you, do appreciate them. Tell Lizzie we said hello, and thank you well, thank you, have a great day. Thank you. Finally we go talk to Sarah. Hi, Sarah, Hi, what's going on? Um? I just wanted to call in because I'm a music therapist. I work in a hospital and my job is to bring music to um in patients like patients who are working on their mental health and recovery and make music every day. And so what do you see? Like, what what is the first thing you see when music enters the room with one one of your patients? UM I think you can see their face light up. And a lot of times, especially with the kids I work with, they just they don't have a whole lot of happiness in that moment, and you can really just see their face light up and bring them something that they enjoy and something that's so meaningful for them, you know what, To make it easier to wrap your head around it for everyone to wrap their head around this. Imagine, you know, you go to work and you have the worst day and everyone just kind of craps all over you, and you're like, oh God, let me just go home, and you want moments alone. You turn on your favorite song and you just dive into it and you take a swim in the music. It takes you away and you see how it heals you with that little I must don't be I'm trying not trying to be rude, but it's an insignificant bump in the road that you're having that day, versus what these patients that Sarah is working with every day, what they're going through. It does great things for them too. It's fantastic. I love your story. Yes, I just wanted to say I love you guys so much, and thank you for talking about the healing powers of music because it really does mean a lot. Excellent. Thank you, Sarah. So again, it's Musicians on call dot org. Musicians on Call dot org will be at this incredible night with Demi Lovado performing for us along with our friend B Miller New Jersey Zone B Miller and Leon else who you're going to fall in love with. He's incredible. It's gonna be a great night March one. If you want to attend, there are tickets available, go to Musicians on Call dot org. All Right, I feel healed already? Yeah great? If I play a song, will it will raise your i Q level? Oh my god? You know it will always warm the cockles in one heart. And you know what, and I are here, you know yesterday straight Nate was having his constipation problems. He turned on the radio listen to music. It all just came right out. Music. Music pushes us through life. Alright, let's get into your headlines, Bethany, Yes, what's going on? The scandal involving marines sharing nude photos of female marines in a Facebook group? Maybe much bigger. According to a report from Business Insider, it involves Dropbox and other military branches. Now there's word from CNN that not only is the Facebook group still active, but they're taunting federal investigators. Members of the group not only stay together, but they've threatened, allegedly both original reporter Thomas Brennan and former Marine sergeant James Laporta, who's helping CNN cover the story. Here is the latest on the Wiki leaks hacking story. Now, leak says it's going to help tech companies by giving them some of the info from those alleged CIA documents. The document says the CIA can reportedly bypass encryption protection because of flaws in some of our smart devices. So wiki leaks says they will help tech companies fix those flaws. You know, it's really funny, is the more and more Wiki leaks is in the news, and it has been for several years. The more. We kind of folded into our everyday pattern like, oh God, I've got to go take a Wiki leak. Oh heavens out straight night needs to take a William Shatner back to you in the newsroom. Thank you. This is your hourly reminder to take a deep breath. And a lawyer's pants were literally on fire. Miami lawyer Stephen Gutierrez was arguing in an arson case. Actually when smokes started coming out of his pants pocket, he ran out of the courtroom. Later said the batteries in his east cigarettes were the culprit they started on fire. Another story from Florida Headlines. This is justin timber Lake. What up? What up? This is jay z Hey, it's Taylor Swift, was Duran in the Morning Show. So we've been munching down on these new rits Crispin thins here at the studio. They're so good. If you love potato chips, you've got to try these. They're amazing, oven baked, not fried rich. Crispin thins come in four incredible flavors, sea salt, cream, cheese and onion, bacon and salt and vinegar. You have got to try them. Dur in the Morning Show what a special day, not only because it's Friday, but because Lord is here. Lord's new album. Lord's music is just fantastic. The first time I heard her first single, I remember sitting there going, this is so different and unique and fine and fresh. And there's a reason behind that, She's gonna tell you, and I think it has a lot to do with her own personal life. And I really think you can hear the honesty through her music, and I think that's what's so great about an artist that's honest and real. You can hear where they are in their lives and in their universe through their music. And I love this. She took such a substantial amount of time off because it means that she is being honestly her doing what she needs to do, and it means that the music is going to be better and it is. Wait till you hear some more of it, because I bet, I bet they brought more with him. We have to talk him into be giving us more music, Nate, don't really tell them we need more music. All right? So Lord is coming in God in about twenty minutes, So hang on phone, tap time all right. Elvis, Elvis Durant, the Elvis Durant phone tap, Danielle, it's all you all right? So Emma wanted to play a phone tap on her mom, Geneva. She has been telling her mom for months about this online game show. It's like a mother daughter game show, and she wanted it, wanted her mom to do it with her. She didn't give her mom a lot of details about the game show, so I'm gonna call to make sure the mom knows all the details. Every time you guys have done these quote unquote game show phone taps, it's pretty awesome. Let's see what happened to Danielle's game show from Hey, mom, how are you sweeting? Remember tell you about that game show that we were going to possibly be on and I was like trying out for I don't know, Well, what do you want? Um? They want to ask you a couple of questions to get us to the next round. Do you have a moment to do that now? Oh? I don't know? Okay, all right, because it's quick, Okay, I'm gonna get them on the line. All right, Hi, Hello, is this Geneva. Yes it is. We're so excited you want to be part of my mom doesn't do that. We're so happy. What do you want? Um? Now, that's the name of the game show. My mom doesn't do that. Oh. So I'm gonna ask you some questions and you just have to answer them. Okay, all right, okay. So the first question is what do you wear when you go to bed? Pajamas? Okay? Uh, let's see. Um, when was your first kiss? Fourteen? What's your idea for play? I'm not comfortable with that, Emma, Emma, I need you to help me here, Mom, Please mean what dollars? What is there? Sex questions? No? One couldn't know. It's you, mom. Mom. Have you ever felt horny while texting on the phone? Oh my god, Emma, what kind of a show is this? Mommy? Fifty dollars? That's a lot of money, Geneva, I don't care if it's a lot of money. I'm not talking horny. No, how did it hurt the first time? What that? Those are not questions you say in public. That's ridiculous you Okay, you listen, listen. How about have you has your husband ever sent you pictures of his I can't believe you're asking me these questions. This is ridiculously Yes or no question, very easy, No, I'm not going to answer that question because he never sent you pictures of his There's no way I'm doing this. No way. I'm telling you right now, who is your husband's favorite porn star? My husband doesn't watch porn. Oh my god, Emma, who is this lady? These questions are what you talk about with your girlfriend on a Saturday night. No, my friend and I do not talk about that on a Saturday night. Producers want to know if you've ever been involved in orgy? What kind of show is this? This is disgusting. Now what is this? Mong you were going to do this? Heat already talked about this, you know what? You know what? Well, let me give you guys a moment to talk and then I'll be right back. This is nuts, Emma, Mom, you're hearing you're just answering yes or no questions. No, they're not get to no questions. How can you think they get for no questions? They are not get no questions. This is ridiculous. I can't believe you can let that lady asked me these questions. Hey, hey, excuse me, excuse me. Um My, producers just will have a quick question. Is your husband circumcised? Oh my god? You stop with these questions right now, and then I'll put you on hold again. Yes or no? No, I'm not gonna answer. No, he's not. Okay, hold on. You see what he's doing. You see recording this. This, This is Daniel Manaro. You've just been phone to AFT. It's a joke. You're not going on any show like that. I got you, mom, You think I would really do back to you. My heart is racing right now, my blood pressure is up. You're trying to kill me. That's all I gotta say. You guys, We love you. Mom. Gosh. My favorite part of Daniel's phone taps is watching Danielle laughs so hard at yourself. You're so messing with that poor lady because you don't know what it's gonna sound like in the end. Yeah, when it's all said and done, Okay, there are a couple of questions I asked her and scary how to cut that out? This is what you talk about with your girlfriends on the Saturday night. Well, I got some bad news for whoever is on the phone tap. Wait, hold on a second, Danielle, aren't you currently on the phone on the phone tap, Garrett, I'm sorry you're Danielle is now sitting on top of the phone tap throne. Garrett actually helped me with this phone tap, so thank you, thank you. He was room You're out by the way. One of the questions scary cut out was when was the first time your husband rammed you? I thought that was a great questions prerecorded we permission granted by All Party Space. Elvis Duran Tabor on Elvis Durant in the Morning Show call us why are you freaking out? Zero? Is Elvis Durant in the Morning Show. Isn't it funny how so many things in the world can change in a heartbeat or a minute, or an hour, a day, a month, a year, two years, The world can be a whole different place. Great example is Lord. You know she had she had an incredible, incredible album out two years ago. We had her on the show and we were so proud to have her here and the music would just I mean, Royals was the huge, huge hit. Else was, but the whole album just had a great message and you listen to it today and it takes you back to that time. Well it's two years later. Lord has her new album Melodrama, which uh is available for pre order now we've already heard green Light, which I think is just a genius song. But there's so much more to the story. But you know what, let's not give Lord all the credit. Think about your own life. How are you now? That's any five? Okay? Think about the difference between you when you were thirty three and now thirty five. Totally different, all right, Danielle, don't you don't to give your age? Oh I don't care. Okay, when you're forty one, look at how life has changed. Totally different. Now, imagine being able to write songs about it and put it on an album and sharing it with the world. That's what Lord has done. Let's talk to her about it. Please, welcome to the show. It's Lord. It's so good to see you, see you guys. What a nice introduction you heard that you weren't supposed to hear that. I don't want you to get or anything ifn' but it's true though, you know, it's been a long time. I was just thinking about when I was last here, and I um, I was actually I was sixteen and I'm twinny now. I was so little and I remember, like, did my own makeup? Was so early in the morning, and I was like a little goth and he just sort of stood there and it was like very brady, and here I am, I'm a real human being. Well, you see, I have I have to disagree with you. I felt that you were a real human being. Then, oh well, thank you. It's very good. And I will tell you now. You were very quiet, and you were very you were very reserved. But I could see the sparkle in your eye and I could see your smile. Your smile was there, and I could see I had no issue with that at all. Not that you're saying that anyone had a reason to have an issue with anything issues, But you know what I want to want to get out of this interview before we get going. Yes, first of all, I got to talk about music. We have to talk about you, your life, whatever, and how it applies to the music, the honesty in the music. And we'll get to that. But everyone listening to this interview apply apply this story to yourself. Where were you three years ago? And where are you now? And how did you get where you are? Are you happy? Where you are? You know? When you hear Lord's story and how it applies to the music, I think it's such an important part of the journey we're going to take when this album does come out. With that said, uh, green Light, this song it's so cool. Woh, thank you so much. It reminds me of when I was a kid and I first heard Bohemian Rhapsody because it's like all the it's like all these it's all the it sounds like it's like a whole album in one one song talk about green Light. Oh man, Well, I'm glad that you said it's like a whole album because, um, I really it's crammed full of memories and sounds and and I have synesthesia, which is um when kind of for me, music is super visual. It can be colors and textures, and this song is just like this stuffed kind of experience. So much to it. Um But I mean, I since I saw you last I I've had had a little heartbreak. I had my heartbreak. It's fine, I'm totally fine, but it's it's I think your first heartbreak is is a big thing. You know. I went from being sixteen and being like I'm never going to write about that. That's lamb and I kind of you know, you go through it and It's such a colorful, intense thing. And I found myself changing as I came out of that, and I was like, all of a sudden, I was like, oh, I'm a different person. It's amazing, and I have to write about this crazy thing and uh and yeah, so that's kind of the song. Lord. I mean, I don't know if it's easy to agree with with anyone listening, but sometimes you have to agree heartache. It's fabulous because it opens other doors. I think, so I think for other feelings and other textures to come through. You know, I really did. Yeah, I had. I've had a wonderful time being being single and figuring it out. And now you need to go back to them and say thank you for the heartbreak because look at what you Yeah, I know, I'm good. I I have to say. My favorite part of the green Light video is when you're dancing on top of the suv standing off. Yeah, like that's like any girl. I wonder if I asked my uber driver, can you pull over into this lot? I'm gonna dance on your car for a minute. Yeah. Well that's the thing. I was like that they'd just be standing thereaping like that's that's exactly what the driver would do. Get that in the video. You know, look, we can sit here and talk for hours and hours about your music in the video. I've always considered a video to be kind of a secondary thing, and even though it's a fantastic piece of art as well. But this video, I mean, this is a world class piece of film. I mean, it's it's it's weird now if I'm wrong, And it's okay for you to say, yes, this is all you. I mean, even though you have people working with you, this is all vision in your heart and mind because you see the music, you see the video, the video is what you see in the music, right, Yeah, I mean it's really I can't sleep. I never sleep because I just all this stuff is just bouncing around in my brain all the time. Um yeah, I mean even down to you know, I was sitting in the in the color at it, you know, being like it just has to be this perfect kind of cool read that some of my brain. You know, it's just, um, the whole thing is so important to me and so um so important that it reflects, you know, whatever it was I was feeling at that time. So yeah, I'm a big nerd. Abous. I'm just like aud, let's celebrate. So it's safe to say this album you this is the album, this album as you you were. This album, I mean, as compared to your last album did a lot. A lot of people had a hand in the last album. This time it was your hands. The last album was also very um. It was me and one other person. We made the whole record in New Zealand, UM, and that was amazing. It's very much like I see the album as like, it feels like being sixteen. It feels like it was made maybe a room, you know, it feels like the suburbs where I grew up, And this record to me feels like the city. You know, I moved out of home and bought a house and started kind of figuring out what I wanted to do and who I was when I was alone and to meet this record really sounds like that. UM. But so I did the whole record with Jack Entonoff, who um is of Bleaches and um is so amazing and so talented, and we basically just hold up in his house and wrote and produced this. UM. This this record, and I'm so proud of it. Listening to us, Jack listens all the time Jack is Yeah, he's coming. He's going to take everything. I'm sure of it. So when you listen to an album or a song from an artist, let's take Lord for instancetance. She's here, you know when you push play, Uh, it's more than just a bunch of notes and words falling out of this speaker. I mean, you're listening to their life. You're listening to this honest look into their heart and into their mind. And and I'm hearing like from our friends at the music label this and that that there they cannot give another name of another artist that is being as honest as you are being right now. I don't know if you agree with them, but you have them all fooled. Talk about talk about your story in the past couple of years, Oh man, I mean definitely with this record, I feel like it is so um kind of open and vulnerable. I've never written music like this. I just was all of a sudden, I was like, no, I'm not going to dance around it, like this is what it is, um, and it feels amazing to write like that. And the last couple of years I've really just been UM. I just like got way off the radar. I went back to New Zealand, um, and just like listen to a bunch of music and went out dance every night and listen to a lot of hip hop, and but also listened to like Paul Simon. You know. It was just like this big kind of mash of influences. And then I was like, I'm ready to rejoin the world of the living, and the put a record out, so would argue that was the world of the living. Well, yeah, but yeah, they're they're both. Yes, it's very different. It's very different. Yeah, in New Zealand, I'm like not wearing my shoes and I'm like on the beach, Like I'm like, I have the Tide at on my phone so we can let's see what the tides are doing. And very if you have time to keep up with the Tide, I know, you can take the take off your shoes. Daniel Bethany, I just met Lord's mother and so I'm happy she's with you. I mean, are you now kind of personal? I mean, are YouTube closer than ever before? I mean, oh man, yeah, she's she's your body, she's my best friend. She we've we've always been very tight. He's gonna lose it to the producer Nates and just walked out. He loves he loves older women. He loves older women. He's gonna go after your Oh my god, she's very beautiful. She's such a horned um. Yeah. No, my mom's athen I have. I have three other siblings as well, So there I get to have it this week, which is very nice to share her. So, Okay, I'm gonna ask you a question, And it might seem like a really obvious question, but I feel like it could be really useful to a lot of people listening. When we first met you, I remember we were taking a group picture and I had my hand on your back because I was very I was like, I want her to be okay, Like I could tell that you were not like you. You weren't ready yet. You know, you were going through stuff, and now you are, Like, we've been saying, a totally different person. What has it been for you to become this, this happy human being? Because I know that there are a lot of people who are listening and would look back over the past four years and say I haven't changed or I haven't become the person I want to be in four years. What has that been for you. What's that process been? That don't even really great question. That's that and it's very sweet thing about you. You're definitely owning. You're definitely owning what Bethany're saying. Now we need to put your hand on her backs the question. I mean, and you like talking about this. No, that's that's that's a lovely question. I mean, I definitely you know, I was sixteen, and I was sixteen year olds very like, very kind of misunderstood, confused, and you know, I was very kind of transplanted out of my environment and um, and I feel like and I'm a true introvert. I'm like so happy just inside my own home with music and books and you know. Um, and so it was a real process learning to kind of do this. And and simultaneously, you know, my friends are um in college, you know, they're in the first year, second year of college, and it was a similar process where you go out of this you have this little perfectly kind of formed world, and then you have to learn to be a real person in this in this other kind of much bigger thing. But I guess for me, like I just it sounds so corny, but I I'm just the truest version of myself and the people who like that, and you know, like you can't be anything else. I just I feel like the way I've come into my own is just being myself and like wearing my weird outfit and doing just I don't know. It just makes me happy to work every every morning and be like, that's who I am. When el was is a lesson for everybody, for all of my friends who are introverts, Bethany being one of them. I always feel like I always know where I stand with my introvert friends because I know that they are always looking at themselves and understanding themselves better than anyone else could ever because and I think there's there's something really beautiful about that. Let's talk about the music, of course. We'll start with green Light. I have a fan of yours. On the line. Is this Jordan's Yeah, say hello to Lord and go right ahead. I I Lord, um, yeah, but I can't believe because it's called me back. That's amazing. Yeah, that's that's fantastic. But I honestly it was incredible. But thank you. Where are you right now? I'm in Philadelphia? Wow? Is snow in Philadelphia? But yeah, it's it just started on my way to work, but um, kind of crappy weather, but um yeah, it's It's just crazy because when Royals first came out, you know, I was in college and you know, just really didn't know where I wanted to be or who I was. And now it's like this album is coming out in green Light. Every time I hear it, I the first time I heard it, I needed to like see the video, I needed to listen to it a million times. And now every time I hear it, I'm just blaring it like and girling it because it's everything. Thank you so much, Thank you, Jordan. What is it about green Light? I mean, what does it tell you? What does it talk to you about? My favorite part is that it's it talks about different things, and those are the kind of songs that I love that, like, you know, any person can relate to. But I love it because I just kind of picked up and moved to Philadelphia on a whim and I'm in a spot now where I I love you know who I am and where I am, and I feel like I am being you know who I want to be and the kind of person that I want to be and just kind of it says to me, just to kind of you know, you want something and like I'm getting it, like I'm I'm here, I am Like this is what you are so sweets, so much incredible. That would mean so much to me. It's amazing. You know, you're amazing. So thanks Jordan. What a lovely early morning, right, A great way to start my day. What do you guys? I talked to Lord this morning. You know, Jordan, the first time I heard The first time I heard green Light, I was in a car and we're listening. I was listening to with a friend. He was playing it on his phone and he had on his iPhone or whatever, and we were at a red light and I remember the green light came on and then the light turned green and I and I didn't and I was driving. He said, go. I said, oh, okay. I was kind of lost to the music. And I looked at him, and I think we were smoking pot or something. I looked over and I said, oh my god, I get it. Green Light. It means go, this is what this song means. He's like, dude, you're you're being really deep, but that really is sort of what it really means. It means go a lot of us here. I'm stone a light, a light full of red lights and I just need I need a light to tell me to go. He said, well, green light exactly, and then we went. We went to Marie Calendars and eight Pie. But anyway, so that's so last Another song came out last night. Um, and what's what's it called? I don't even know what it's called. So this one is called liability liability. Let's say play a clip. It's a sad one. It's a ballast, it's real sad. You're a little mutch for me. You're gonna watch me the soup and South. Yes, it is sad, the sad one. As an artist, as a woman putting yourself out there, I mean, have you ever ready stopped to think how much of you you're putting out there? I mean you're giving everyone a glimpse into the most private parts of you, or some of them. How does that make you feel? I don't know, I guess I I've always I've always written, and I've always read, and I always um listened to. I just I love hearing people's stories. And you know, even in my life, I'm always um kind of collecting stories and a little you know, anecdotes and people will tell me, and I feel like that's the only way you can understand what it means to be alive, you know. And I feel like that's why I I don't know, that's why I'm here and why I you know, have a smile on my face. I'm like, you know, if someone can listen to something and be like, oh, you know what, she feels real dumb sometimes too. I just when we wrote that song, I just had this moment. It was it was very like I was feeling very sorry for myself. But I was like, at some point, I'm going to just be punished everyone. I know. I was like, I have this crazy career and you know, it's difficult to be friends with someone in this position. And I was, you know, it's really wallowing in it. But when we wrote it, weirdly after that, I was like, this song sounds like high school to me. It feels like when you're in high school and you're like, am I just pain all the time? To everyone? Does anyone want to be around me? And so it's kind of like, you know, it's it's if I can write that and feel the way I felt high school, maybe some kid in high school, like you know what it's it's gonna be okay, You're sitting next to you, you're very something where you're like, oh, gosh, I'm not so sure if I want that message out there. People are going to question me about it. You know, you're just unsure about putting it out. I don't know. I'm usually kind of just like I'll write it and I'll be like, well, I'm not going to put this out. This is insane, and then like it's on the album. Yes, that's literally like it's my life. I'm like, you're writing all these very specific lines about like she thinks you love the beach, you don't love the beach, Like it's like, oh, you probably should have. Oh, well know, I'm just I'm just like, you're gonna you're gonna tell the truth, you know. And I find when I really tell the truth in a way that's very specific to me, that's when I feel the most ex I did about the works. If you're just turning us on this is Lord and we're celebrating Lord and her music. When you listen to the replay channel, uh, listen to the beginning of this interview. What you've missed so far, because so far fantastic. You know, there's something really great about the two women you're looking at right here. Lord, We'll start with Bethany. Bethany is living that single life right now, a person who's been in several relationships but is now. I have watched her blossom and become this incredible, incredible woman. On top of the incredible woman, she already was living this life and learning about life on her own, living in the big city. Yeah, you know, I actually had a really helpful conversation yesterday. So it's really interesting you you came in today to talk about this because it's about owning who you really are with with anybody. There are a lot of people, I think who we feel like we want to sort of change and flow to kind of fit whoever we're hanging with. And there's a freedom in realizing this is who I am, and it's going to make the people who really love you stick out and stay with you. And this was literally just had this conversation yesterday. So I love that you're here today to kind of like and Lord with Danielle, who I've known since she was a little girl. Now she's a mother with a great husband and two kids. And I don't think there's anyone on this show and myself included, who is more as comfortable in her own skin as Danielle. So so so you are looking now at who you sort of who you are and who you might be. I mean, look, I know, I know you never it's weird to stop and go kids one day. I don't know raising a family? Do you ever like does that ever flash through your mind? Or my god, I I love kids. I'm the biggest what about your kids though? Give back? One going to have Sis. I want my own little pals to just like rock around with Sis, which was my best friend just had a baby and I was like in the delivery and I was like, this is the most beautiful thing I've em a bit a pat of all the time. Nothing better than when they come home from school and I'm waiting and they go, oh God about their day and to see it's just the coolest feeling ever. I'm gonna, yeah, I'm gonna. I think I'm gonna be a cool weird mum STI this may sound creepy, but I don't know that I could be your grandfather. I guess would you be my mother. I don't know list pleasure in a lot? Can I ask what's in your locket? You're wearing this beautiful life and the whole time I'm like, who's in your life? Just go ask this And there's actually nothing in it. We put something in it. Oh my god, this could be a song. Yes, nothing in my life? What's got nothing in my lucket? Are you? Yeah? You just got it? Lord. You're gonna be on Saturday Night Live this weekend doing two songs. Are you doing any skits as well? Are you just doing the songs? I am? Are you playing Donald Trump? They looked around the room and they thought, she's Donald Trump, That's who we want. No, I'm in one skit for so short. I don't even know. If I don't, don't, don't tell us. But I'm like, it's funny because I I did get asked. Um, I said to something that I didn't get asked. I just offered it. I was like, I can't have a host because I'm so not funny. I have like no comment timing, like it would just be a lid balloon, so totally very little live TV. It's exciting and it's so excited to perform. I think it's gonna be amazing. So before we leave, before you leave us, I know you have a world out there waiting for you today, and they all deserve They all deserve time with you, just like us because it's been enjoyed this So I want you to come back at um. What I love One of the many things I love about your music is Lord's music does not discriminate. You could turn on God, you know, in radio, it's just in this I hate this part about what we do. We compartmentalize. Oh, this must be dance music, this station must be black music, this must be Hispanic music, this must be white music and country music. Your music does not discriminate. It goes across all lines. And I think that is, in my opinion, that the sign of a true, true magical artist. Your music does that, And I really wish more artists could find it within themselves to do what it is you do. And I don't know what it is to make that happen, because that's what brings the the people who are apart together formats together. I think there's a lot to be said for that. And don't mean and congratulations on that, thanks so much with that said, let's give you some Lord. Um, we thank you for coming in. By the way, the album Melodrama available now for pre order. I want everyone, even people who have to steal a credit card, to make it happy. I want you to go on pre order Melodrama from Lord right now. Thank you again to Lord for coming in and just letting it all hang out. Her album Please It's on pre sale now, go buy it. She is fabulous. I love her story. Who's next? I mean, we have all sorts of people lined up. Our friend is Tadrick called yes or no? You see Taddrick Hall wants to come in, and so I was texting with him and I said, okay, get with Nate. So he doesn't text back, so I don't know if he's coming hint. Oh, he's scheduled to come in soon, but we don't know if he's gonna show up. I think Gaby Citabase coming in soon, isn't she She will show up. I've heard that she is very reliable. Also, Julia Michael is another new artist that's fantastic. She's written a lot of songs that are huge hits. Her songs are fantastic. I said huge hits. By the way, Yes, d n C is coming in soon. Hayley Steinfeld is coming in very soon. Our new friend Leon Else from from England is going to come in. I want you to hear this guy in interview. He is a very interesting guy. His music is fantastic and so honest. A lot of great music, a lot of great actress and actresses on the way to our show. Hint water, you're drinking one now, Hint fizzy, Yes, it's some of it's fizzy. I have a fuzzy one. It's BlackBerry sparkling water. Here's what I love about them. And they were on the the Hollywood Walk of Fame with us when we were now like keeping everyone hydrated. If you want like a hint of black berry or whatever fruit and you don't want to be inundated with like lots of sugar and too much fruitiness. This is great. It's just a nice little you can look if you made it yourself, if you took like a lemon, it just dropped it into your glass of water, Fogg and for a while, then just took it out and had like a hint of lemon. That's what they do. But they have, you know, nice bottle and they just launched like sunscreen, so they have sense that smells like pears and stuff. It smells amazing. This you want to eat yourself? Not like that. I've been trying for years. Sounds like a party, Froggy walking funny today. Well he tried to eat himself last night. Oh my gosh. All right, we have sound with Garrett on the way. We've got to go round the room. We'll start with you, Froggy. What's on your mind today? In beautiful South of Florida. You know what's so funny that you had to just clarify that you said huge hits? Yes, yesterday I was reading something for one of our stations and I said, they only played the biggest hits, right, And they came back to me and said, what did you say? I said the biggest? But when you put it together, it sounds like you said something else. We know, and I know that that happens a lot, Like you'll say something. You'll be talking to one of your friends, and you'll say a word and it sounds like something else. Have to come back and slow it down and really enunciate the words that you said. Well, we do have this habit of talking too fast. I know I do, and so sometimes you say the wrong things. But you didn't mean to know what we do? We play the biggest hits we have. We do. I do too, Danielle, Danielle. You know what, when Danielle plays music from her iPhone, she plays she actually she has the biggest hits she does. Daniel what's on your mind to this? So I know so many of you are feeling what I'm feeling right now, because yesterday I walked into the biggest Yes, I walked to some thing and there were bathing suits all around me because it's that time of year, and I kind of anxiety set in for a minute and I was like, Oh, okay, I'm gonna have to do this soon. You'm not ready for that. I turned around and I walked out of the sword. I said, I cannot, I am not ready. I don't want to face it. No, thank you. Do we get into that in a minute. So I know this is a major thing for everyone at bathing suit season. Awful, awful, awful. Hey, Bethany, what's up? Why is it that other people's clothes look so much better on you than your own clothes? Have you ever noticed that, Like, if you borrow a girlfriend's outfit, it looks so much better than your own clothes. This shirt is Danielle. Do you remember when you gave this? Oh yeah, that's right. Yeah, I thought it looks familiar. I think it looks fabulous. And then you gave me the shirt like three years ago. Looks good on you found it again in my closet, and I'm like, I like it so much better than any of my other stuff. And it's because it belonged to someone else. There you go. You know, it's the same when you're in a restaurant. You both order the cheeseburger, but for some reason, they're cheeseburger taste better than It's all in your head. Yeah, it's all in your head. All right, let's do sound with Garrett. All right, Garrett, what do you have going on? All right? Let's start with this. So Congress last night they were debating over healthcare, and a congressman from Texas said, hey, can we just agree on some stuff? And I'll buy everyone waffle House. We'll be going. They've been going on and on and on and on for days hours. So I would say yes for a waffle house, but listen to what they said. And if the majority would accept the Barton, Blackburn Hudson Amendment, we could end this and I will buy waffle House for everybody in the committee. Can't do it, can't do it worth a shot. I mean I would have said, yes, I want those hash browns I com chunked, smothered and peppered. All right, if you go to waffle House, you know exactly what I just ordered. All right. So if you have an Alexa at home, uh, you know, you can ask it to do some questions, like you can ask it to fart, you can ask it for the weather. So one woman said, hey, Alexa, are you a part of the CIA, because that's a big conspiracy thinking. Everyone thinks that the government is listening in through your Alexa. Well let's ask her. Yes, Let's go right to the source. If anyone can listen to you, it is Alexa. My husband is a bit of a jokester, and once that's christ and Stewart, Alexa, would you die for me? I always try to tell the truth. I'm not always right, but I would never intentionally let to you or anyone else. Alexa. What is the CIA? The United States Central Intelligence Agency c I A, Alexa, are you connected to the CIA? Mm hmm, Alexa, are you connected to the CIA? Mm hmm. That's Alexa not answering the question and shutting down. That proves it. Maybe the word connected made her to think you were trying to disconnect her. That Kristin Bella Christophrey to ask questions. Actress Kristin Bell Mary to dak Shephard she has a cast who's talking to Bethany's favorite Keith Morrison from Dateline about if her husband did this to her phone, would it be a legal issue? Would there be a legal problem if they found this on her phone? My husband is a bit of a jokester and once searched on my phone how to get away with murdering my husband if he ends up dead. How much trouble do you think I'm in? But you're in trouble anyway for even thinking about it. But no, he googled it from my phone. That doesn't matter. I wasn't thinking about it until he googled I know anything that all happens to him. It's your phone that doesn't say who googled it. That's why he said, I'm going to corner you. He said good luck, and then he typed it and then I know. Now it's okay. You do know about Addie Freeze? Can we have him on the show? I love so much everything he says a sex his voice is just everything he says is you're about to be murdered. I'm so hungry. Are you hungry? Or are you hungry? And he says that while leaning on something. You know, he's great him and our friend Jim Kearney to have a conversation together. Um, alright, So els your favorite time of year reality TV show during the summer, Crappy TV. Here's no wrong, Summer TV is the best TV. Crappy TV is fabulous. All right. So here's a new show on Fox called You the Jury, where you get to be a part of a jury from your couch. Genius. If you're tired of fake news, it's evil and we need to do something to stop it. Brings you something really Court is now in session. Get ready for actual cases. You see the evidence. If you don't want students recording you while you're having sex. Don't have sex with students, man, you hear the argument to the New Face of American Joe April seven, of the New Face of American Justice, I will sit home and I will be a juror. By the way, people are saying, they changed it Alexa. When you ask her if she works for CIA, she says, no, I only work for Amazon. They just changed conspiracy. All right, let's end on this. This made me cry this morning listening to it. So Ari is a five year old up in Boston waiting for a heart transplant. Uh he was on a list for about two hundred plus days. His parents just found out that he is getting a new heart. So they recorded telling their son, Ari, Hey, we found a heart. So I was talking to the doctors a few minutes ago and they said that, you know how, they've been looking for a heart for a long time. They found one and it might be perfect for you. What do you think, Well, fund, yeah, they did, gay. Why am I getting good it? Maybe maybe this afternoon or tonight, not tomorrow, but put soon after. I'm gonna find a good spot to right there. And oh that is so amazing. So please think again and go say yes when they ask you if you want to donate your organs, you really should. Organ donation is such an important thing for little kids like Ari and other people. It really truly is the ability to give the gift of life even after you've lost years. That is great, and his parents must be very very very happy. Great sound to day. You're a you're good American. You know what, We're gonna take a break. We've got greg Ts topic train. All right, if you only had a brain, if I only did transplant a brain into me, I use that I would like for your brain to be transplanted into someone else to be science. It already is yet in the Morning show. I know it's a little too late. Maybe most people already have a house. I guess today's take your lunch to work day. You're supposed to make your own lunch and put You're supposed to brown bag at today. So Danielle and okay, you would have food in your kitchen because you have kids. Bethany, if you open your refrigerator this morning you had to make lunch to bring to work, you would have brought a brown paper bag filled with saracha sauce and um, that's it. Oh, I have a lemon in there. Okaya would be your looking straight Nate. If you had to open your refrigerator and make a brown bag lunch to bring in today on take your lunch to work day, you would have brought in granola and a cana tunic. That's all I got. That's a go, all right? What about you, Elvis? You have food in your house though, because you like to cook. Oh? Yeah, I have a great pasta dish. I made a vegetarian charred roasted broccoli with cannellini beans. Uh. And for I'm sorry it sounds a good tell. I have a chicken mozzarella thingy that I mean that's ridiculous, Froggy. What would you bring if you brought lunch to work today? Some rotten salami and some strawberries? Yeah, I also have simple syrup, So you're ready for the ready for? What would you have? Scary? So I sauce two bottles of champagne and a decrepit avocado. There you go, So maybe it's best we just call and have something delivered. Let me guess you bought the avocado yesterday and today it's decrepit. Yesterday it wasn't and that's what they do. You got to be fast. Hey, can we talk about this new exercise craze. It's it's breaking out of Eton Town, New Jersey. Where did it go? Oh? God? Uh? It's called hatchet throwing. Now, betsany you are the official badass of the morning show. I want you to take this up. I want to do this. I'm talking hatches like axes. Yeah, they're very heavy, the real, the real good ones are. And once you learn the import safety rules and proper techniques in throwing these hatchets, you throw these things that wouldn't targets. You wear your arms out because you go NonStop for two hours. Got me, I would imagine. Plus probably also works your core, your your back, your legs. And I know there may be several of these centers around the country, but the one I was reading about today is uh located in Eaton Town, New Jersey. Which is that about your house? Isn't it? Okay? Great? What you do is you get a group of at least four of you, You pay about twenty dollars an hour for safety training and a lesson, and then you throw solo and you work out. It's not for everyone. But if you've got good grip there. The place is called Stumpy's Hatchet House. Now we don't know why they call him Stumpy, but he's working with hatchets, so one can imagine. Yes, web girl, Kathleene, have you been to Stumpies. I haven't, but I was just invited to a birthday party there, and we're gonna go and throw hatchets for someone's birthday. We need hatchet throwing. We need more hatchet throwing in our lives. There's there's also locations. Okay, so there's bad axe throwing in Chicago and then in Philly there's urban axes, which is the same thing the lessons competitions leagues. Well, I'll tell you what hatchet throwing. Maybe I can stand like next, you know, on a bull's eye and get nervous with me that I would go to throw it forward and it would go backwards and hit me in the head like you did with the bowling ball. She goes to bowling. You know how you put the bowling ball behind you and you push it forward to release. She releases it when it's behind What are you learning more about Stumpies. There is a national axe Throwing Federation of course, the n A t F and there are very big rules about what you can and cannot do and how to play and how to throw. Well, it's moving from the player aspect to the exercise aspect. Yeah, yeah, you can do There are multiple ways to throw an X. Did you know this? I'm gonna learn when I go to stumpies. But I will tell you. You know you you talk about someone that has a swimmer's body. Yeah, you can say, I'm dating this guy. He's got the best hatchet throwing body. His arms are like steel guys who split wood Man with you. Hey, Chris, Chris, you did hatchett throwing last weekend at a birthday party. You gotta turn down the radio because there's a delay there. Can you hear me? Hello? Yeah, talk about it. Talk about how your arms felt the next morning after hatchet throwing. Actually they weren't. There's two techniques of throwing it. You have two hands over your head, yeah, or you have one hand on the ring hand side of your body if you're lefty and um, it's a lot harder than it looks to get in. Wow. So there, that's why it's it's good exercise. Actually, or exercise if you want to call it that so, Chris, I mean, because you see, without without safety training, how it could be very dangerous to do the probably after they got a lot of rules and things like that. Apparently it's only one in the country. They said, no that we We've found many more. We were fighting. Absolutely, did all of you leave with all of your limbs? We did? We did? Oh, excellent, all right, Chris, thank you. Happy hatchet tree, great hatch a tree, great tea, stompic training. All right, tell Tammy we said, hi, I can't get to a called Tammy went to Stumpies. She says, it's awesome. It's a b y O B al right, you know you shouldn't be drinking and stumpies. Great team, Yes, sir, great list of topics today. If you want to jump on the Great teat topic training to give us a call. We'll give you the number after every topic. Topic number one. You are a scammer, Yes, you are. You are a scammer and they're being played on innocent people and you are helping the problem. You call your house, they text you the email. It's all scams. So as you're sitting there in the car right now, listening to my voice. I want you to be brave, pick up the phone and call us right now and admit that you are one of these scammers. Yeah, we want to hear from you. How do you live in yourself? Okay, I'm sure dying people are dying to call to have you yell at them. Now you won't one eight hundred two four two zero one hundred. Next topic forgot to wear underwear? Are you not wearing any underwear today? You know? How can you forget these things? So? I just want to know are you just out of clean underwear? These just not want to wear it today? What is the reason why you forgot to wear your underwear? A lot of people just don't wear it? One eight zero one hundred. Next topic, why did you steal that? Okay, it's off the heels? What just happened? So somebody evidently stole our Elvis Duran Morning Show tablecloth. We haven't laying around it is now gone. So these silly things, these silly items, why do you walk around just take these things? And why did you steal it? I feel like, did you steal somebody's garbage? Can? Did you steal a license plate? Okay? For no reason. Okay, don't yell at them if they call ye at you're asking one hundred. Next topic, going, but don't want to have no choice? But this weekend, no matter how much you don't want to go, you have got to go there. So we want to know where do you have to go? But you really don't want to go all the time, he's always, is there a place you're going this weekend? You don't want to go every I want to go everywhere? One hundred. Finally found in your luggage? Just curious when airline security stopped you and they were digging through your bag. What did they find in that bag of yours? All right, there you go. All right, the calls are already coming in at one eight, two, one hundred. Let's just hop into it. Let's see what happens. Hello, May I use your name on the air? Sure? All right? Aaron? Go right ahead? Which which topic? From? Great? He are you calling in about? Uh? Scammers? Actually? Have you been scammed? Or are you a scammer? Uh? Technically I guess you would call me a scammer? Why is that? When you were a part of a pyramid scheme? I'm gonna have to say pretty much anyone below the top guys are the scammers, all right, So the people above you are running something that's probably or could be in question, and you're exact, and you're an employee that helps them out exactly. I am in the midst of trying to actually get out of this because I realized just how devious it was when they began to tell me I had to do anything it takes to convince someone that I need to be in their home to sell them insurance. Okay, all right, I see, I see. So, but you do need to make a living, and so you you are actively looking to make a living elsewhere because you just don't care for their practices. No, I do not. I think it's kind of terrible when a single mom of three kids, you know, mix a request to get some uh those child packets to make sure their kids are okay, and instead of you know, just receiving the child pack it's it's, you know, knock, knock, knock, oh, hello, here's your child packet. And by the way, how's your life assurance? You sell them insurance on top of that. Indeed, yeah, well, Aaron, good luck to that. Pretty awful. It's pretty awful. We'll get out as fast as you can. Okay, man, thanks for listening. Yeah see, I feel dirty just listening to him. Well I know, but he wants all right, let's go talk to Oder. Wow, there's a lot of them. Hi, Todd. Hello, So, uh you know of a scam? Are you a part of it? Or someone you know it works there? Oh? No, it wasn't, no one that works there. We would just uh my girlfriend at the time would just go in the store and take stuff right off the shelf straight to customer service, and they would give her money for it with the tags on it and everything. Oh that's not cool. It's not cool. You talk her out of that. Oh it's yeah, good good. I wouldn't do that. And even Danielle who eat an entire dinner for free at a grocery store when she's shopping, which is which is just the same thing. Really, she'd steal from everyone, drink like a monster, and then not paid for it. Well, I bring it up to the register at least and say hey I drank this. Yeah listen, Todd, thank you for moving on from that. You deserve better. Yeah, all right, thanks thanks a lot. Uh, let's go talk to Connor. Hi, Connor, Welcome to Great Tea's topic Train. You're not calling you about scamming. You're calling because you didn't wear underwear today. Yeah, I kind of forgot. How did you forget? How do you forget underwear? I woke up at five and I was supposed to be at school at nine. I live about half an hour away. So you just got dressed really quick, rent out of the house. Yeah, it's threw on pants and sprinted out the door, only to realize when I got in my car about halfway down the highway. Oh wait, I forgot something. Yeah, you have that feeling of freedom, but sometimes it's good to feel that. Everyone so a while. Isn't it a little freedom? It gives the room to breathe. I'll give it. Yeah, you let those puppies breathe. All right, Connor, thank you very much. Have a freeball in Friday. Yeah all right, Well I may, I may change or take it all off. Hello Victoria, Welcome to Great Tea's topic Train. Which topic you calling about about somewhere I don't want to go this weekend? Oh yeah, where do you gotta go? Well? I have to go take a math test after pulling a twelve hour shift at work. I know. No, no, no, even if you didn't have to pull a shift at work, you don't want to go take a math test this weekend. Yeah, definitely. All right, well ace it, Victoria, you go show him who's boss. That's right. I actually text and right before Christmas time and um, I lost my job and uh my check engine light come on on in my truck, and luckily enough I had um not too long after that, I found another job. Good for you, that's good. And how's your check engine light doing? Oh? Well, it's off for now. Did you put tape over it? Didn't? You can't see it. It kind of cuts on and off randomly, so that means it's it's in a good mood. It's like a it's like it's like a light show at a at a club. All right, thank you, Victoria. Have a good weekend. Zero one hundred. Elvis Duran in the Morning show? What was that sound? Oh boy? I got somebody erupting down there in the morning show. So excited. Um, it's gonna go to the house this weekend and do some cooking whatever. And I have this thing about appliances in my kitchen. Do you have a lot of appliances in your kitchen, like, you know, you get your coffee maker here, you got your blender there, you got yours. Yeah, I have this toaster of it in my office. I was ready to take to my house, and it's gone. Scary took it. Scary walked into my office and took my toaster of it. Why where's my freaking toaster oven? Why did you take my property and just walk out with it? Is this? What kind of family are you from? So? So here's the thing. The toaster arrived in November on your office floor. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if it's been here for fifteen years. It's my toaster, been sitting here for like, it was there for like three months. So I just figured, like, you know, I'm just sitting there talking to in your office the other day and I'm like, I guess, I guess no one's takes where is it? I brought it to my house. No is it? Did you unpack it? No, it's in the box. Bring it back. So you were mad at you took it from him because he left it in the box in his office. So you stole it, take it home and left it in the box. Oh, it's been here for since November. I must We'll just take it. What kind of logic is that? Well, I swear I didn't think you wanted it. I thought, I'm like my desk, because I've been there for fifteen years. I drive by this car lot on the way home. I've seen this one car sitting there for a while. I'm just gonna go take it, you ask, I had no one because he was gone for the day, so I said, well, you know, oh my god, you can text me. Oh my god. That's my toaster of it. I feel like, now, okay, I just don't understand something. There's a great tea earlier was talking about taking things that aren't yours in this topic train. This is insane. That is an issue here though. Like we have these headphones, and there are there our headphones, like we each like a different brand, a different fit, and we will come back from like a vacation or a weekend and they'll just be gone. Someone just takes them. Okay, let me ask you this. What if you put it in your private space when when they take it there, it's fifteen times worse. And they take your stuff too. I've had someone take my headphones out of my desk. We should go to Scary's apartment and see what's in there. I bet it's it's it's I bet you can't even walk into his apartment. It's like a Horder's episode of all of our stuff. He's taken. Is that where my Egyptian cat went? Did you take it? You have a foodsball table that's his Applebee's on it, toaster and I thought maybe it was office so meaning if it's in his office, it's his property. It was given to me to me though, He goes, I mean, I know it's only chocolate, but I always have a stash of like Snickers and stuff like that. He goes, oh, I ate your last Snickers? Okay with my last Nickers. You didn't ask, you just took it. Like I know, it's only a candy bar, but still, Danielle, I get this text from Nate. By the way, Scary took your toaster of it. He says he's not using this and he took it and walked out. Look, here's a photo Scary. Scary has his jacket on at the end of the day and he's taking my toaster of and just walking out of my office. I like that instead of stopping him, Nate took a picture. Okay, you know what, I guess what. You stole it. That is stealing. But it looks like I have an overcoat on and I'm just trying to make you stole my property and I want it back. And if you opened it, you're buying me a new one. You're buying me a better one. Not open to Elvis. I swear to god, it's a great toaster right here, though I got great reviews and consumer it's the laundry one. But it's not yours. I know this is up. I just can't. He said it's delonging that they'll send him one that's yours. Do not send him. He'll just come up there and steal. Why don't you go to best Buy today, go shopping. You need to teach him. Look, they've been sitting on the shelves and November scary. Nobody will notice. When I found out about this, I sat there and this can't be true. No one just walks into someone's private office, picks up an appliance and walks out with it and says to someone else in the office, Oh, he's not gonna use this. I'll just take it. It's just bizarre to me. I just hear it. Didn't you steal something at Christmas time for your nephew? No, I didn't. Here's the logic. You did take some toys for I got one of those hatchables, but anyway, just landed on the lap. My point is, Elvis, if I saw something there for three months, I said, maybe I was is a fully furnished apartment and sitting here. Okay, so why don't you ask let's do this. We gotta move, don't want, let's not phones, don't worth you know I have you know, we're waiting for for Alexander Graham Bell to come up with a system where we can talk to each other on boxes with speakers and microphones on them. I'm gonna text you no, no, no, no phone. You probably stole from someone else. I feel like I don't get it an awful good. I want you to feel like. Okay, okay, okay, just from now on, don't take things that aren't yours. And that goes for everyone who works for this show. I'm not Oh look it's Bagel Friday. You know we're having a new thing here called Bagel Friday. SA Bagels the best bagels in New York City. And guess what, we have no toaster because Scary took it home. But that's the good thing about SA bagels. They're so good they don't have to be toasted. I've never ever heard this logical, this sitting dow so I thought, you know, you wouldn't take it at home. I just thought it taking a home baby. Hi Barbara, Hi, what's going on? Barbara? Oh my god? On the air. Yes you aren't feels so good to be swimming in this ocean. Oh God, what can we do for you? Barbara? I wanted to tell a story about my stuff being taken from my desk at work. Scary must work there too, Yeah, maybe it was him. So I stare in office with four people. I work at like a community center. It's a y m c A actually, and so a lot of people are in and out and our stuff is constantly being taken um And the other day I walked in, I go on my desk, and I have coffee on my desk, like ground coffee, and somebody literally took the coffee out of my desk, used my coffee pot, left at dirty, and put the empty bag of coffee back in my desk straw that is like and one more I have another really good one. We had a huge Halloween event um back in October, and I was in charge of it, so I had to set up all these crafts and like activities and stuff. And I had one of those you know those you put some stuff in the jar and guess how many is in the jar. We had candy corn in a jar and it was all counted. There was over three hundred of them in the jar. It was tied up with ribbon, labeled all pretty for the event. I come in, there's broken crumbs of candy corn on my desk and there's a handful taken out of the jar. I don't know why. I'm so sorry. I just want to tell you, guys, I appreciate that story about Scary and a thank you. Thank you so nice to know what's happening elsewhere as well. Thank you. Have a good weekend. I love you, guys, We love you, Thank you. Thank you what scary? You know? My logic at the time was if he needed he could afford a new one. Oh you know what I love about that you took my my toaster of and the well I can afford another one, and you put it in your BMW convertible and draw it home to the to your higher wise apartment that you bought from the money that you make from my show. You are aft Scary. That's oh my god. I have to get a bagal I need to go eat my feelings. I have to eat my feelings. No, no, no, you bring my toaster back and it better be sealed with original packaging. And I swear to god, I'm kind of shocked. Scotty, you need your packing tape? Do we have to do time for packing tape? Go get your own packing tape. You know you don't need packing tape if it's not the original packing tape. He doesn't want to back. Yeah, you're a mooch. I gotta take something from the mail room up star. Do we have time? And Nate the producer left to go on vacation without even saying goodbye, so I don't even know if it's time to take a break. We do have some time for we'll do some time before Scary steals it from you. Headlined Bethany, what's going on? Pope Francis? He may be open to married men becoming priests. There's a big shortage of priests and it's a problem. So he told a German newspaper that he would be open to married men who had outstanding virtue and faith to take on some duties. But if you're already a priest, you still won't be allowed to get married if this goes through. Weren't The Republicans New Health Plan has passed its first two hurdles with both the House Ways and me When did you start sound effects? Oh this new feature? Are you okay? Okay? Back to me? The Republicans. The Republicans New Health Plan has passed its first two hurdles. Both the House Ways and Means Committee and the Energy and Commerce Committee voted to approve it. The fight is not over, however, Democrats, many conservatives, and healthcare groups are against it. Murmur this is your hourly reminder to take a deep breath. And you, guys, wine infused coffee as a real thing. This is amazing. In NAPA, some coffee roasters got together with some wine makers to create wine infused coffee. So they took Mulinari private reserve two and a half years to perfect the reserve or the recipe. They finally got it. They're now selling their full bodied coffee at different wineries and cafes. It's that goody gets you drunk, but the wine taste is really strong. Good luck with that perfect don't turn your phone tap next. This is the weirdest morning showdo weirdest morning show I've ever been a part of. Elvi Duran in the morning show. So we've been munching down on these new Ritch Crispin thins here at the studio. They're so good. If you love potato chips, you've got to try these. They're amazing, oven baked, not fried. Rich Crispin thins come in four incredible flavors, sea salt, cream, cheese and onion, bacon and salt and vinegar. You have got to try them. Elvis, Elvis Duran, The Elvis Duran phone Tap, Danielle, it's all you all right? So Emma wanted to play a phone tap on her mom, Geneva. She has been telling her mom for months about this online game show. It's like a mother daughter game show, and she wanted it, wanted her mom to do it with her. She didn't give her mom a lot of details about the game show. So I've got a call to make sure the mom knows all the details. Every time you guys have done these quote unquote game show phone tapp, it's pretty awesome. Let's see what happens in Daniel's game show phone two. Hello, Hey, mom, how are you sweeting? Remember telling you about that game show that we were gonna possibly be on and I was like trying out for I don't know, Well, what do you want? Um? They want to ask you a couple of questions to get us to the next round. Do you have a moment to do that now? Oh? I don't know. Okay, all right, because it's quick. Okay, I'm gonna get them on the line. All right, Hi, Hello, is this Geneva? Yes it is. We're so excited you want to be part of My mom doesn't do that. We're so happy. What do you want? Um? Now that the name of the game show? My mom doesn't do that. Oh. So I'm gonna ask you some questions and you just have to answer them. Okay, all right, okay. So the first question is what do you wear when you go to bed? Pajamas? Okay? Uh, let's see, Um, when was your first kiss? Fourteen? What's your idea for play? I'm not comfortable with that, Emma, Emma, I need you to help me here, Mom, please, I mean, what dollars? What is there? Sex questions? No, I couldn't know. It's you, mom. Mom? Have you ever felt horny while texting on the phone? Oh my god, Emma, what kind of a show is this? Mommy? The dollars? That's a lot of money, Geneva, I don't care if it's a lot of money. I'm not talking horny. Now, did it hurt the first time? What that's aosn't not questions you say in public? That's ridiculous. Okay, you've ben't listen. How about have you has your husband ever sent you pictures of his I can't believe you're asking me these questions. This is ridiculous. Think yes or no question, very easy. No, I'm not going to answer that question because I never sent you pictures of his. There's no way I'm doing this. No way. I'm telling you right now, who is your husband's favorite porn star? My husband doesn't watch porn. Oh my god, Emma, who is this lady? These questions are what you talk about with your girlfriend on a Saturday night. No, my friends and I do not talk about that on a Saturday Night. Producers want to know if you've ever been involved in orgy? What kind of show is this? This is disgusting. Now what is the song you about to do? This? He had already talked about this, You know what? You know what? Well, let me give you guys a moment to talk and then I'll be right back. This is nuts, Emma, Mom, you're doing You're just answering yes or no questions. No, they're not gets to no questions. How can you think they get for no questions? They are not no questions. This is ridiculous. I can't believe you even let set lady ask me these questions. Hey, hey, excuse me, excuse me. Hum my producers just have a quick question. He's your husband circumcised? Oh my god. You stop with these questions right now, and then I'll put you on hold again. Yes or no? No, I'm not going to answer. No, he's not okay, hold on. You see what he's doing. You see recording this. This is Daniel Manaro. You've just been phone taft. It's a joke. You're not going on any show like that. I got you, Mom, You think I would really do that to you? My heart is racing right now. My blood pressure is up. I I you're trying to kill me. That's all I gotta say. You guys, we love you. Mom My gosh, have an idea for a phone tab. Go to Elvis Duran dot com, click on the phone tab tab, tell us what you want to do. This phone table was prerecorded with permission granted by all parties. Elvis Duran phone Tab on Elvie Durand in the morning show, I can't think of a better way to start today than it was a little whiskey. Why is that? You know, Bethany and I have this love for whiskey, and I have a love for Bethany because she loves whiskey. What's the podcast you do again? It's actually actually a web series. It's called Bethany Watson's Whiskey Chickie. That's on YouTube or on Whiskey chick Show dot tumbler dot com. You know, before two years ago, I never, rarely ever would drink whiskey, And now you know, we really are into great whiskeys. It's great, it's awesome. You can get them at all different price points. What is this whiskey we're drinking? It's this is the Irishman, the Irish build. How could you not drink the Irishman. I know it's a small batch Irish whiskey, single malt, but it's aged in um bourbon barrels, so it's going to get like a sweetness from the bourbon apple. Yeah, and it's got like this green apple. It's really good some honey to It's really really good, Daniel. I know you're driving home, you should have some. Yeah, you know, I think I got some pink wine in the back. Don't drink you're driving. Yes, that's another advantage. We have limos here in New York City. They're called yellow cabs. We have long yellow cabs. They also have Rider's Tears, copper pot whiskey. I'm gonna try some of that love whiskey. It's very smooth going down, I gotta say so. By the way, don't think we're up here having like lots of drinks. We each had like a thimble full, like a sip, just enough to like get it going. This might be your your gateway whiskey because it's got like a really green apple flavor to that. I got a lot to record after the show's all, not enough to do anything okay, and will okay, just get the report. Just have a drop of whiskey. No, I have a good story, alright, that smells good. Just drink a little sip through your mouth after you drink its breath out. Okay, nothing should be that unenjoyable. I really think that that could take away the cut that I have on my hand. And you know if I pour it on there, just okay them all right, Daniel, you have about a minute in twenty seconds, tell us that story. Okay. So remember when Ed Shearon was here and he has the cut on his face, and he told us this whole thing about James Blunt cutting himself with a knife and getting knighted and swinging a sword and talking about well, guess what. James Blunt has come forward and said that that was BS and that Ed was drunk, messing around and cut himself, and that the whole story was made up so that Ed wasn't embarrassed. Isn't that? I think we should just move Oh my god, everyone, everyone's pointing fingers and turning into a scandal. I don't think we'll ever know the truth about how he got that cut. That's sexy cut on his face. Game of Thrones is getting a date July sixteenth, that says season seven. I know a lot of people were waiting patiently for the date it is announced. It is July sixteen. Put it in your phone and then you go and Gabbarette Saba, who will be here in a couple of weeks. She rose writing in her memoir about working as a phone sex operator. She did it three years, then she quit when she got the job on Precious the movie. She says that it really did prepare her for her acting career. Oh I bet probably no. I mean you have to be spontaneous. You have to be just on it. Oh yeah, she's on it. Or do you have to say you're on it exactly? Pretend you're on it exactly. Thank you, Daniel. Hi, what's up. I'm Melissia Cars. This is Selena Goman. Hey, this is Katy Perry with in the Morning Show. Is Elvis Durrant in the Morning Show. What's the best place to have your breakfast? How about a warm croissant right now at Burger King Get too, Croissan, which breakfast sandwiches for just four dollars. A light, flaky Croissan piled high with savory sausage or delicious thick cut smoke bacon only a burger king. Prison participation may vary
