It is often acknowledged that grief or loss can transport us to accompanying things we wouldn't normally do. For Kathy Gabriel, that was entering the world's toughest horse race, the Mongol Derby, not once, but twice.
After chewing her up and spitting her out the first time, she had to wait another three years for the Pandemic to pass in order have another go in fulfilling her dream of completing this 1000km horse race across Mongolia.
It's an inspiring story from this Aussie lass and one that will encourage you to get outside of your own comfort zone.
