A few weeks ago I found myself fishing on Omaha Beach. It was going dark and the light on the moon was stunning. When I returned home I told everyone about it. The first thing out of their mouths - did you take a picture?

I am worried today's teenagers are missing out on the life that is happening around them because they never look up from their screens.
