Wellington mayor Tory Whanau has come out and admitted she has a problem with alcohol.

Why people feel the need to film public figures living their supposedly private lives is another story, but this is not the first instance of publicly elected officials and alcohol not mixing well.

However, I have a sense we could be seeing some double-standards at play here...
