Welcome to Drink Champs, the production of The Black Effect and I Heart Radio and It's Drink That's motherfucking podcast. He's a legendary queen's rapper. He's like Green is your boy in no r E. He's a Miami hippop pioneer. What up is d J E f N? Together they drink it up with some of the biggest players in the most professional unprofessional podcast And yet enough one source for drunk Fast Drink is New year z do for Drink Champs Drink Up. Would it could be hoping to you wouldn't be It's your boy in O R What up is d J e f N? And this is Drink Champs. Yapp makes up. Now this brother brother here, I don't know how he don't have a Drink Champs chain. He was one of our first guests. He trusted us. He put because he was He was a little nervous when we started talking, but he stuck with us. He's just like Tim episode On, one of my favorite people in the world. I've never called this brother. He's never not let me down. If he can't do it, he'll tell me he can't do it. If he can, and if you can do it. He'll do it even if he don't want to do it. You don't find friends like that. You don't find family like that. You don't find that. And besides he's a legend. Besides he got his own show. Besides he got his daughter, exactly reducing his own shows. Right, he's came in here with new jury, new ice off for the Turks and Cakos get away. Listen. Fact, he's just sneak election. Don't don't, don't complete you're sneaking as a fat Joe. He has storees birth of niggas. In case you don't know who we're talking about, we talked about the impeccable fil Joe. Tell me so, I'm gonna start off with a somewhat awkward question, right, somewhat awkward because and there's something I never asked you. It might be I don't ever gonna say the person name, right, say the person name. But we're playing fat Joe, right playing we're playing fat Joe. This is who we do because because you're my brother, I still have to do the same studies as everybody else because I want to do do justice. So at one point, this guy record keeps your old stuff this guy keeps appearing. So we're running crazy so fast forward thinking you can walk in. I think you can walk in. So what do you do? What does that like when you listen to your old music and the guys on the record that you don't mess with no more me? Yeah, you know I'm not gonna lie to you. Um, like you said, I just came off the Turks and k coas vacation for my daughter's fifteen birthday. I never listened to one Fat Joe, not even Sunshine. Yeah, you know, I like mostly, Uh, when I listened to an album, I'll be telling people like I'll tell Rich like yos the first time I heard this in ten years. Yeah. Really, I just be like, you know, and and I know it must feel weird, like I don't really listen to my ship. But there's plenty guys I don't like, and there's guys I like, Uh, we can't erase the past, you know what I'm saying. And we moved to the to the future. I mean, we can't. We can't erase the past, you know what I'm saying. And who's the guy? What are you talking about? But so you know, he keeps coming up and listen, if you're playing old fat your old punning and just so just left so we had to forward two or three times. It's I would you I don't like to hear him, so I wouldn't be upset up since he's a bomb ject. Just damn. I didn't know this was gonna. I was asking, Okay, big applaza right still, that was funn that was pun right there? How breaks in the field to be able to visit Big point aplasa? You know it's so great? All right? And your hazard is sounds hold up on second, I want to make sure people know not to miss the new HBO Max's original comedy series that Dan Michael Cha starring Northern then Michael j himself, featuring celebrity guests like Amory Hardwick, Colin Jost, Billy Porter and Met the Man and others. That Dan Michael Ja explores Michael's perspective on everyday situations including racial profiling, unemployment, falling in love and more. Stream that Damn Michael Jay now on HBO Max, Let's go, let's get back into it. No re what It's beyond great. I've been trying right to ask people to get big Punish Street for fucking twenty years, right, And I don't want to go into too deep, but you know they wouldn't let us get a big pump block. Be just minded my own business. No, not with the family, and a lot because of issues. I don't want to talk about it, you know what I'm saying. So and so every year they kept trying to get him a block. They wouldn't give him a block because the whole board would be like, nah, you know, you know, he got this on him. And so it's so in generous disingenuous when you hear people say, oh, Joe ain't tried this and that. No y'all, actually no, even though I don't rock with y'all, that I tried for twenty years to get this man this block. Like you know, weben ds Bross presidents, one of my best friends, and I've been begging them for twenty and all of them. But every time it went up, the boy would be like, yo, you know, you know he has a situation. So they wouldn't do it. And and finally, thank god, they acknowledged him and they gave him the block. And then it became the biggest thing that so I wanted to my thing is about good energy and positive energy, and the man deserves a fucking bridge. Forget a block a bridge. He's the greatest Latino rapper of all time. And so what happens is, you know, I didn't want to go up there with that wack energy. I'm not fake, there's nothing fake about me. I don't know how to be fake. I can't be with you. If you're a billionaire and I don't really like you, I can't do I can't do it me. I stick with my real you know what I'm saying. So I wasn't gonna go over there bad energy, me on this side, this guy this side. So and imagine somebody would said some ship that would have got him beat up in front of everybody on big pun day, right, it would have been an ugly thing. So what I said one day that day, No, I'm just saying that this big point that we would have went over there and we'd have been over there like we'd have been over there like this, you know, like and it would have just looked crazy. Would it looked awkward? So you know, it would have took away from the occasion and would the whole energy was supposed to be blessing pon, praising, loving punt. Plus besides that we're not totally welcomed by his family and him to deal right, you know on me being punished friends as well. I'm jealous sometimes when I see that. You know, there could be a big easy documentary, they could be biggie movies, they could be everything, and they can't do it. Let me explain something, what happens to me? They could do it. Let him do everything. So I gave everything. You do not understand what what all right? So let me ask you, So what the fact Joe do? Fat Joe created Big Punt. I don't give a funk what type of smoke steroids stuff you on? Fat Joe invented Big Punt, I don't you know? And every time I try to talk about Big Punt that you know, when this ship come out, they're gonna start the old No nig discovered them. I got him every producer, I got every rapper. I dressed him better than me. I brought them bigger change than me. I didn't. If I've spent two on the time, it's spent a half a million on puns. I did that right, So now, okay, he passed away I did something nobody ever did. And I'm not and not not trying to be disrespectful, but I don't think Puff Daddy gave the rights to Biggie back. I don't think they gave the rights to Tupac back. I don't think they did. So I said, okay, you say, Fat Joe's jerk, and you take everything to the to the family, take everything. I'm not a problem. You know, everybody got whatever they want. You don't get everything. Fat Jo doesn't own a dollar, no attached. I don't have nothing to do with Big Punt. That's what y'all wanted, all right. Cool. So now Big Punt is dead for twenty years. Now, you've got all these niggas, the super owls, the wigs that this involved, who's trying to make money with the family off the state. And they said, come on, Joe, after you created the whole shit, do it for Big pot my nigga, do it for Big Pond twenty years slater, my nigga plenty here, bro plenty here. So would you you want me to go and do work my ass off and go for free for Big Ponds? And then you you do take all the money that I fucking worked for You know, people don't say, and I'm the big guy. I gotta do this big guys ship all the time, like y'all brodies. They gotta funk up. Can we reach a happy medium with pun? Can have these documentaries? Can't have these movies? Yo, listen to me. I mean, just like, because you know who it is, joke, can hit me out, hit me out of the thing about Yo, you don't need Fat Joe, you got a million. Can't do the document to me on run DMC without run you know what I'm saying. But then the problem is they don't want Fat Joe's name attached. When this interview comes out, you'll see right because you're not crazy. You caught some cross fire time twenty some years later. It's really about this because Fatcho has no dirt on his reputation or anything he's done. I made niggas millionaires. See us here. We don't did a million shows across the world. I don't owe a motherfucker a dollar on the planet Earth. Everybody down with me. It's listen, every nigga down with me. Gotta manship every nigget down in every fucking I mean, I'm not gonna lie you walking my store. I got stores in the hood, stores in the hood. I never left my community. My ties are still there. I got stores in the hood. When you pull up the managers of my store, the miiggas, the niggas got rollux is on the bench trucks Haven. What eats with me? Everybody eats with me. So when you got you dig up one situation in thirty years of some niggas that they made the wrong choice. I made the wrong choice beef for fifty cent and fucking jay Z at the same time I made the dog yonda bopping the biggest niggas in the world. Did you see me come up on dream chats one time and cry, or if I'm going to green Bockings, offer me millions of dollars or sneakers. It's something, uh, niggas. It's like, yo, we're fucking with you if you give him that chat. I never came up being cried, and then I took my my bones. You chose a side, you know what I'm saying. You chose to go that way. The people who chose to stay loyal to me, they are in mansions with swimming pools inside of it, which guys what not. They are mansions with So everybody who chose to stay with me it is rich and doing great. And if we brought them all here, they'd be like, oh my god, it's my brother. I love him to death. He's the best in the world. He gets so um you know this is the and then my whole thing is and he knows that, and you should know that is my whole true. My DNA is based on loyalty, you know. Oh no, no, it's really. My whole DNA is based on loyalty. So the very the very uh incepts and the very thing about Fat Joe, the thing that makes Fat Joe rich is that he's loyal. He'll ride out with you no matter what. Um. Here comes these people with the teplon every time, testing the teflon where whenever they can get some airplay, O lo because this and thist their lives. Man, their lives, bro and uh. I would tell people to check my track record with the other one thousand people a million people I've done business with in the past twenty seven years. That will all tell you this guy pays ahead of time, this guy's great, this guy's this, this guy's this. You got you know it is what it is looks like in the movie. There is there absolutely no path ever in your foreseeable mind that there was there was. I'm gonna leave it like this. Somebody called me up and said, y'all, we want to do a big pun movie. We can't do it without Fat Joe. I said, fine, tell his wife I don't want no money. I'll do the movie. Admit the Fat Joe never took a dollar from you, never robbed you, never didn't because she knows the truth. They know the truth. Just admit it publicly Instagram. Yo, you know that. Why are you asking me? He actually know he's here. Say the truth. Say the truth. You made a mistake, you lied to people. You said, Fat Joe robbed you, took advantage of your family. Truth is he looked out for you, gave you everything, gave you money. But you know, let's say the truth. You know what I mean? Oh, I can't do that. Also, when we can't do a movie, I don't know what. I don't know what. You women get stuck in my ass and drilling ship a little bit further. I don't know what to do. It's unfortunate. And and does his son well, say, because I feel like christ an amazing artist. You know, imagine if you guys, oh no, no, imagine what fat you'll produced this news. I'm just saying, just blew them up. So now just supporting him on some level, I mean you actually, for Big Puns, you should be really nice about producing the whole album with heads and diet the right thing. No, I'm not saying all of that. I'm just saying, just just like some kind of support, what like maybe featured on Christopher. He would if I did the record with him. Wan Terminology used to join but for Big One dedication Loud Records. I remember you telling me you called him or you could tell me after we did a dedication to Pun the radio City Music twenty years with Little Wayne. They may weather back to back, so he didn't so he couldn't go. We hat everybody. The first time he flipped me, helped me pick church servants wait to Little Church. So y'all listen, bro listen. I don't take Punt lightly to be so we don't sad parties. I never had an argument with Big Punt while he was alive. I never had a disputement with him. I never had an argument We love each other like brothers day in day night. Dick Steve's the biggest family you ever seen. It's sad that when he passed away. Now you gotta do you see, it happens with everybody. It's gonna happen. It happens with everybody. So now you gotta re shate as soon as a family comes in and you don't really know them, like you know, if no disrespect to your fac it'd be crazy if you passed away. We really never dealt with your wife as many times as I know you and know all that. Who knows if she says she's the new owner of Dream Champs and she got a new way of doing it called let's put the pink ship over the table and don't did yo? But that's my brother, but holy ship. But what's going on now? Because he's the that's that's what it is. Peto. I got a brother I haven't talked to for twenty five years, my own brother, maybe even more my own blood. I guarantee you the day I die, that nigga running in my mother's crib talking about Yo, this is my brother's ship, Yo, I need He's gonna get fucked up by the crew. You understand what I'm saying, but I can't and tell you that nigga coming you. You get what I'm talking, but I swear that you can't play. Is that some of the most best beautiful relationships you've ever seen turn around around. They passed old ship phase to my brothers face to a k A. The family one They and and and and You're like, holy ship. But you start feeling like the matrix the way it's coming at you, and you're just sitting there like, yo, this is crazy and this is everything we preach. Loyalty, brotherhood, twins, uh, family, that's it. You know, it goes against everything, so you know it is what it is. It's something you know, the Palestinians and the Israels they're fighting right now. They ain't never gonna stop. So I guess that's what it is. I mean, if you want to ask me what have I done, I've given them everything. If you want to ask me what I did, they want to do a movie here. I don't even want money. Say the truth, bro, Just be honest one time. Just say I never robbed you, I never took advantage of your family. I looked out this, this that all. You can't say that, oh, y'all, but his son is the greatest, make all the hits for him, Joe, even though he hates your guts and all these people hate your guts and this and this, Bro, I can't make it perfect for you or the one or two fans that's asking like, Yo, Joe, I can't make it perfect. It's it's a situation that just can't get resolved or can't get fits. Everybody don't know the ins and out. So I know where you're coming from. You know what I'm saying. I know you're come from. But I just want to want eventually him to have a great movie or a great documentary, so you know what will cost. Let's be clear about this, though you leave this in and take Fat Joe's not holding up any movie anything. Fat Joe don't own nothing with Big Pun. They got their ship, they got every body. They think it's smart running with them. But it wouldn't be anything if you weren't involved, because I wouldn't say it's Big Pun. They're gonna make it anyway my thing, yo, Bro. There's certain things that we can't really discuss publicly because I would look like a foul nigger. You know what I'm saying, So and and and it's like, you know, there's there's certain things. I also told us something else. She knows what I'm talking about. They're gonna be watching this that she can't have that in the movie if I'm involved. You know what I'm saying. Because these things they did to themselves, everything they did to themselves, not the kids. They were little kids. The mother chose a path or storyline or to do whatever she wanted to do. That fucked up the whole ship. You understand what I'm saying. And now, and and and the only guys who when everybody in the world is trying to ship on my brother, I'm the only one. Norty too going no, he's the best, he's the greatest. No, No, you gotta you know. You know, I'm just swimming alone in the ocean for a long time. You understand what I'm saying. So, now, what we're gonna do. We get the new big punk movie and we shipped on my brother again. Nah, bro it just it's it's no answers for this ship. Now moving on. Let okay, why we didn't get Rihanna in the video. What happened well, it wasn't. No. I could say COVID, but there was never Rihanna. It was because a sample, right, just sample. Let's break this down for people that don't know. Because because as a fan, I thought that and when I said, I said no, he went and got those vocals. You know, it defended you or something I didn't know, and I was wrong because it's not He wasn't wrong. You technically wasn't wrong. Okay, So it's not a sample. It is a sample. So the kid, the kid d J morphus, I'm on vacation with Kalid uh mix right, yeah yeah, so he mixed Luther would kiss it better. And Dre says, Yo, you gotta see this ship. I never heard no ship like this. He sends us a video. I'm like, yo, this is incredible. Right, so I see this ship. I said, Yo, this ship is incredible. Both Dre says of cool and Dre yard I'm gonna produce the track. He said, I'm gonna produce the track, and they sent it back and then we did it together, me, Dre and Kalid. We incorporated the kid. Okay, if y'all want to see what it is. In two thousand one, we could have sold it from the kid. Is he just DJ two records we could have sold it. No, we contact the kid. Yo, thank you for inspiring us. Your name is on the record. You get a percentage of the record. We flew him down, We paid the kid, included him in the video. And that's for the people who thinks Fat Joe rob's people. You know, most Niggers would have robbed this kid right here, I said, all right, cool for the inspiration. Cool, we got a minute now, Rihanna, Um, I don't know too many people sample, but thank god when they went to get the sample, she said, oh, I love Fat Joe. Tell him I love him, he deserves it. Gave it to me. Same thing with Luther Evangels now both of them, both both. But what's crazier than that is if you're hearing clear vocals, We hit up her engineer and he gave us the original vocals. Yeah. Yeah, so that's that that can make of of the sample, whatever the case may be. Okay, who got the other thing? We were head through the speakers, Um, who who got it? Because I wanna I want to hook up DJ Caller album. I want to do something. It's very important right now, it's very important right now, how this album on the streets. I gotta say something because you know, I kind of I didn't invent the phrase give give flowers. You know, I didn't invent it. I just made it famous. I made it popular. I made it. I made it saying to say in hip hop, and since then everyone has been doing that. I see my community starting to pike each other up, and I don't I don't mind to have to pack myself in the back to say I started that. I don't know, you know, but I say you said it. But let me just say something, because you know, most of the time you're doing it in front of people's face. College, I don't have to be here. I want to give him his flowers. I listened to that album. Every single track was a movie. I felt like, you know, back in the day's Kicking, pre used to take a mixtape and he used to drop a mixtape, and every single record was a hit to Maybe it's not a hit to you, but it's a kid to the South Bronx. When I heard the Queen's you, maybe it's not a hit to you here, and that's the closest thing that I felt, you know, back in the days, I used to go get a kicking pre tape and I used to feel like I was flying, Like that was my outfit if I had the best music and listening. I'm away in this house for twenty eight days and cock I just listened to the college. I'm like this ship. It's really great, phenomenon, phenomenal fucking album. First off, sorry, I'm not sorry, that's crazy. I'm blessed to have nas and jay number and I hadn't hit him like, come on you disrespectful cryptocurtncies coughace yea here he or let me let me, let me break that down right, not just that particular song, because people take away the greatness from Khalid and they say, well, he just gets a bunch of big time wrappers and put them on the same song. There's a million DJs and producers that try that to put the biggest thing and those at the you and it's been a long time since we heard Nas and jay Z on what to me sounds like a smash hit. Smash hit that can play in the radio, is streaming incredibly. Get this soul. Khalid really is the Quincy Jones of hip hop right now. So he put them two together. He made a smash it record. He put them two together. They did it together, of course, But let's not talk about their lyrics or whatever. They're the greatest of all time. We're talking about two of the top five. Everybody's top five. So they gonna sit. You know what I'm saying. They millions billions. I can no, no, I can relate because they's spidering. So you know what people in the hood, they take when you come around, or you in a nice car, or you got Jerry on. Some people take it as he's a show off, but it really is. You know, you could get this. I came up from the projects for I was fucked up. You could get this. It's it's attainable. You can touch it, you know what I'm saying. And yeah, I like Living Good and I like Turks and Caikos, but I'm always accessible. You still might bump into me in Washington Heights. She's still bump into me in the Bronx. You still you know, it's crazy. I went they did behind the Music or or a and need some ship documentary on me. I went back to my projects last week and oh, for some people, this is a hard thing. To do when you get too fat. Joe's status because you know, so people don't understand. They hate whatever. I walked through my own projects. People coming out the building, Welcome home, Joe, we love you, Joe, Welcome home. The ladies out the building. I know them all by their name. I'm walking through and I'm like, damn man, like you know they know like Joe represents them no matter how far he goes. And of course I want to take it because I believe the more money I make, the more money you make, the more money you made, it's the better we can trickle down and give back to our community. That's the real trickle down and my ship breaking mortar, you know what I'm saying. So when you turn around and you go, oh, the other day, I had a meeting with the Nike rep. A Nike rep because I own sneaking stores. And he tells me and I'm hu, no, no, no, I don't sneaking stories. And I'm telling them he's selling me. You know, y'all, we want to know what you're involving in the community, is so, I said, my involving in the community. He said yeah. I said, well, I think we're the biggest when it comes to black and Latina, we give back the most of anybody. He looks at me like, you know, I might disagree, right so that he tells me about a store that's in the hood somewhere, I'll say it in Brooklyn. He's just these guys got a program for little kids. These guys do this and this and that. I said, and I will give you ten thousand dollars of me. And you went over there right now without telling them, and there won't be no kid and no learning. And in a fucking story, it looks good on paper. My ship, you can see brick and mortar. You want to see thousands of people week, families. We get food too. You want to see fucking planes. We send the point port, we go fucking computers. We give the schools this and this. No, my ship brick and mortar. You can touch my ship. The ship I get back. You can touch the ship. I'm not with fancy paper to sup you up or nothing like that. My ship real and oh boy, oh jaw said no, because it's ours. It was our duty that if we're making money, how much money is that the money? That's the question. So if you're good and you got whatever makes you happy. This happiness is the true currency. You know what I'm saying, Why not get back to your community, Why not look out for the people. Why not get back to the people. And so that's how I feel. I feel like it's a trickle down effect. We should want everybody who has a good heart to win so they could come back to the hood and give it to them. However it is, you know what I'm saying, but that you know and not to be you know, my next ten years of my life, God willing, you know I lived ten more years will be based really off of philanthropy and giving back and giving back to the hood and inspiring the kids, whether the gang members, whether they street guys, whatever it is, to encourage them to change their life and show them the greatness within them. You know what I'm saying, That's where my true heart and passion lies. Besides making a ton of money for my family, you know, because I'm I'm about that money. That's it. So now you owe me a car our bone dinner. Carbon is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. He's been going, I've been going. We haven't gone together. We go together one night. He walks in. He's he's like a ghost. I look at Joe. He's like, he can't even say what's wrong? Your I Q you was there right, he can't even say what's wrong? And I'm looking He's like, I lost my new tspiece and my and my chandelier was you're missing and it's the Richard Milly shandelier. Man, you could google that. Listen to me, what do you do after that? How can you enjoy your meal after that? I've been to jail, I've been shot, I've been betrayed, stolen from I never felt like this. You just lost and I have insurance for my jury down economics, somebody found out. No, this is why today I got super nervous because you never come late. You usually come one time when when it comes to business and when you you know, I'm older now I take these naps. Yeah, yeah, I'm older. You're fucking way to drinking. Knock on the door. I need this hour. Let me get a whole hour. So he came late there, and he came late today, and I immediately went to this moment when you walked in and you said I lost it. As you people can see if you zoom in on what we're talking about here, because that's the Arab that's the Arab presidential, that's that's that blue magic. That's it is what it is. Should we die? I about the feel this just's describe the situation. You you you drop your bags sick or space sick records. So I come in the problem is this. I hate to fly, even though I fly. Yesterday we came in private. You know, I pressed for my wife and my order for our birthday. You know, the ship was doing the all less man, I'm tired of this. I got so sweady to fucking ring was falling off my head Like I'm like, God leaves a gun, drink chance, MOR's really gonna want to see you. I don't see too much. Oh, don't do this now, Like this ship just going. So because of that, there's a flight that leaves out of New York to Miami. So you would say, my commute, it's from New York to Miami. So there's a flight on the seven seven seven that leaves American Airlines at like six in the morning. That's the big ship. You don't feel no turbulence, you know, I mean, that's your best chance. The smaller plain you said, but this ship like a city, right, So I flying that day six in the morning. That means I gotta get up. I'm in Jersey four in the morning, fucking ship in your eye. Take a quick shower, run up in that So I'm running. So when I in my house, I get in my house maybe like eight o'clock in the morning or some ship's mad early. My wife takes but I forget all this. Man, I'm damn near delirious. She takes the jury out the bag and she puts it in the drawer in the kitchen. We're never gonna put our jury there, nothing like that. So I forget about it. When I come, it comes signed to go to car Bone with him. First of all, I'm Dyna, see Nori, Dyna, see my friends, and I wanted to eat that car Bone soul fucking bad. And so we left and that I was like, yo, what's my watch? Should we go back? We look for the watch, you can't find it. We leave towards Nori, and then I'm making you turn to come back. Like I was fucked. My stomach had a knight, like I mean, a softball in my stomach. I was like Jesus, right, I launched the ship, and I'm trying to you know me, I swear to God, guys, I don't get scared of much other than flying. I laughed when I get scared on the plane because they have to give me something like, I don't get scared to jail. I don't give a skin of niggers. I don't get skin of ship like like I'm like boat. So I'm sitting there and all of a sudden, I'm trying to put the face on, like, yeah, you know, I love a million something dollar. Was fucking let no niggas. But I keep I drop. I dropped ten blocks and you turned three times. Norri's glowing me up and everything, Okay, I'm coming. I'm coming, Marie. I'm like stretching the house. I can't find my my jury, and I see ship. They robbed me the T s A. Now you start thinking everybody robbed you the plane, the T s A. That this is the only one I ain't think brought me was my driver. She's give it up off this to me. Found my way and who was driving me tonight? Like no, sees is good? I said, sees it's good. He would never But so I'm sick and out of nowhere, a lady that works for me shout out. She comes to the house and she finds it in the kitchen. I was like, oh my god, I thank you. I thank god I found it. But I was like, oh my god, was sick. And I got insurance on all my jury. You know what I'm saying. I paid a lot of money and sure, sure in my jury. Although I never lost the piece, IVE never been robbed in my life. But I'm prepared for this, you know what I'm saying. And I've lost jury before, and like in hotels and ships like that. Yeah, I've lost. The only thing I ever lost was earrings. I lost like two or four pair of earrings, like the big ships we used to wear back in the AI days and all that. Like and while I'm on stage and just falling the crowd and nobody giving you that ship. One time I'm in Chicago, real talk before I remember wife obviously obviously twice. But uh, I woke up. I smashed this thing. I woke up and then short have wrote have wrote me a letter, was like this is like in the night, this is sup with the other days, and it wrote me a letter. In the nineties, was like, you'll never do that with a shot town girl again. And I never did that with anybody again. But the word they almost almost didn't leave you. So you ship something. They took your ship. She told you on the phone. Yo, I took your ship. Now I know so many guys they got robbed. I was on toll hell no, no, I know millions of guys. He got rolled by girls. It's crazy because you sleep with them, you're passing it. You think you know you're fucking this chick. Heaverything's great. You knock out, you off there night, you wake up in the morning your fucking ear ring got twisted off your ear with everything. And I know this guy one time he caught off he they go. You gotta let nobody I saw. I know this guy. He caught the girl like before she left. She didn't leave his rolex was this. He caught security and everything. They couldn't find it nowhere to the point of where the ladies security. I told him, like, yo, she gotta have it up yonder because we can't find it. No, gotta be up on yonda because she never left the room. So you know the's a professional girls that they look beautiful and they don't mind giving you some some pussy to chair you up and all that, but at the end of the day, there's some hundred thousand dollars pussy. It might be way too far, but you know you came down on the price. God damn, everybody you know got caught out there like that man, not me. That's something I noticed during the pandemic. It has You've been a lot more social media base, like you go go live every day no matter what I think today you could have went live here. Yeah, I saw some champs hold my show. My show is a big deal, but up any like playing me? Like, let't right. What I'm saying is you've been coming a lot more on social media based like I've seen hosting mixtapes online. You're engaging with posting new music. What what made you do that? Is it? Is it perire lucrative or that love that space? You know there's two there's three different questions. Um, it's trying to give new artists UH a shot to align themselves and make music and be on the tape hosted by Fat Joe and maybe even want eyes to go on the ship. A lot of them you know, you know, we repost their ship. We put their ship on the mixtape. Now as far as to show these two different things, far as to show I was terrified. I'm for real do something. No, no, no, it's my brother, It's one of my top fives. I'm not gonna lie to UFM. I was scared though I might die with Corona. Half a million niggas died. I knew you never called test. I was away for a month. So every day Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I might have took four I might have took four tests this week, right, because I'm doing all wilding out the mall. They keep testing you or whatever. So I was terrified, Like I never came out of my house. When I came out of my house, I looked like one of the alien niggas with the mask. But the ship I saw in my hand. And I'm in Miami where all these niggas are trumpers, believe in the mask as crazy. I'm running out here like spraying the call. No that late, Like I never left my house. I sat in the box for the whole time. I wasn't lying, right, So one day I'm there and then um, I'm just like this in my door, just like your Dad, you should go on live. It was like go on live, and she was like, yo, go on live. Talk to the people. So I noticed the people needed it. So when I turned it on, the numbers just crazy. The people needed it. Everybody was stuck home. They're all my artist friends. You call, and everybody kept coming on, coming on, coming on. The next thing you knew, it turned into something that we started doing every day at eight o'clock that night and we had everybody from domestic violence people to doctor Fauci to do, from the from the funeral home like we had everybody you could think of. I tell people all the time, I said, they say, yo, you know, uh fact, Joe's going in your your lane, And I said, who he interviews, It's not our lane. You'll be taking risk that we're not willing to take the interviewing people that were not with an interview or know enough information to even interview. I think you had you had, like the dude running for the mail, a bunch of them. They still come on every week. Everybody had God for President and we book of God who legitimately went for president, come on the show. People who can't come on drinks. I've been on around let me burning it down. You're welcome my show. I've been on my show with shot Obama in the comments, in the comment got that car autism for autism money? Yeah, you know everything, But let me ask GBT anything anything that deals with transparency. But let me ask you something, Joe, because maybe it's just me an if and putting you onto an area that you don't know. Why did you sell the audio to that? Didn't I sell the audio? You know? I never sold you know. I'm like you said, we know we're answering. No, no, you gotta anna answer the question. I'm just saying making sure what you didn't sound that you know everything I didn't sells nothing to my ship. Yeah, because we can make that a whole. That's a whole another bag. Please, especially was it's not vote? So do you still have a you're still going to with that one? Season's still even because that's the audio side of it. Yes, right, Yeah, that's what we do. That's what I need it bad. You're gonna put me on. I put you on now a legit question like yeah around like we can take over the audio part today, but I never get it. All we gotta do is that same mike, you got there, and then we got to send the mike to the people. That's that's not even you could take the audio straight from from the video, but really really no extra. And then it is if he doesn't want to, he doesn't have to. Me me personally, I love doing it. It's become an addiction. It's become a past. Get the funk off the lot, off the check. It's seriously, won't do nothing around the show or the week. Is that? That was the only reason I'm here twenty six years later, and I still have my teeth and the richest because I never game. Do you want me to do your dog in the yard and see in your pistol beach? Yeah, so you're talking about in the yard my brother pistol peaked dog in the yard. People up. But before we get to that hit, before we get to that. Also, it's DMX day DMX. They just they just named the day for DMX. First off, let let's talk about that, and I wanna talk about DMX for a second. And then we got yeah about DMX. So what does it mean? DMX DA What's like it's a whole date in y'all kiss I believe is it y'all in New York. It's New York State team is the clear d km X day. What you feel about that? I love it. Um. He's a pioneer, man's a legend in the hood. Uh if I tell you the first thing that came to my mind, the true thing was, damn man, we always got a guy to get it. You know what? Yeah, man, you always got a guy to get it. You know you was sucking with him out here. He was perfectly fine. I want to get the crazy ship. Was something about our neighborhood, something about New York when we're going back to New York, going back to certain certain ways of life. Like I literally looked at this man. He stayed down the block for me for three and a half weeks. He literally came every day I was signed. I signed, I would say, to the contract, I can sell it as an n f T. We sent him a contract he was signing to drink Champs Is fat. The only thing he said was he didn't want his name on it. He wanted the bloodline. So we changed the ship and then that happened. But I was with him every day, and he was so happy. He was so focused. He was not thinking about this other lifestyle as other than things that and as soon as you go back to New York, this thing happened, Well it really he ain't his fault. Um my brother, and I hate doing this because I know my nephew is gonna be watching this. You know, my brother dealt with I've dealt with addiction my whole life. My brother been getting high since he was fourteen. I was that means I was nine. I watched my mother in the window. I don't win and shot up the whole block. Get I don't want to talk too much. You know, pistol whipped the crack, slots everything. Trying to get my brother off drugs. I put my brother and maybe twenty drug programs. I don't bailed him out and paid for maybe twenty thirty lawyers from my brother, but maybe fifty lawyers, ten thousand dollars every time he got locked up, so he don't get no real time. I don't went through it. I don't cry with my brother. I did everything. You know, One time we said, just so I can give you my scenario. One time, we send my brother away for a whole year. He went to like North Carolina. He was in the drug program. He came back cock Diesel brand new. The second he came to the block, his friends was like, yo, angel money man, what's up. And they're thinking they're showing him love, but like, yo, I got that. The man went away for a year trying to change. It's no less than six hours later he coming in my mother's house like this. I've seen this. I dealt with this, the the addiction. It'd take down the smartest, the richest, the loving, It'll take him down. It'll just take him down. So in d m X's case, unfortunately, the person who might have got him high, I thought they was looking out when they're your ass. I got in, yo up. And they've been going back and forth suffering to the person who's things they showing him look and so what I'm saying to you is unfortunate because he looks so beautiful up here. You know. I see him with Nori every day and I know you you exactly black because one day I faced him me. He was like, yo, Joe, I gotta get off the phone. I'm talking to DMX signing on the drink chapter and yeah, and you hung up on me. And he comes bring the public chicken to y'all fantastic in it all. So, so if we go back to d MX day, man, the brother deserves it because we need to show people that you can't come from the projects, you can't come from from being fucked up and be somebody great in history. The m X deserves that one million percent. Big Pun deserves the street. You know, hip hop isn't it? You know America? Now, we might all go to jail for what I'm about to say. I'm telling we all go on to jail. America has a huge history of going to other lands and stealing. They're not they're audio, they're diamonds, they're all the natural resources. We steal it from everywhere else. Right, so maybe back in the days we were stealing the tobacco and the sugar came from through everything from everywhere else. Hip hop is the only natural resource that was created in America. Has made trillions of dollars. That's giving people hundreds and thousands of jobs. And so who is d MX. He's a fucking superhero to this cause. Give him the day, give big part of thing. And then the other thing is, uh, if you know this guy's great, if you know jay Z's creating you know, pomp Daddy's great. If you know, man, give him a fucking black or bridge or school. Now, well they can see it. Why they always gotta wait to somebody. Guy like Swiss says something at the funeral and everyone thinks he's taking a shot at IRV Gotti. But I'm gonna just go ahead and say he said that. You know, I didn't want you all to show up now. I wanted you to show up then, like when he was alive. Do you think it's a well Swiss. A lot of people were a lot of weight on their shoulders. Swiss was one of those. I got an aunt, my aunt Barbara. We got nine My grandmother had nine kids. They all love my grandmother to death. Shout out uncle damn. That was probably the step My favorite aunt, and so my board Barbara. My grandmother was eighty some years old and she was in that hospital day and night, tubes and then all type. My aunt brother is the only one who had the stomach to stay in the hospital and be with how every day. That's special. People that could tolerate it. You're walking in there, you know, you're seeing your mother and your grandmother with tubes. People can't really feel that way, Swiss Wiss that aunt Barbara. You know, no matter what DMX went through, he was the guy he was saying. You know, I loved the dog. He was with him through thick and thin. He was trying to help him. He was trying to change his life. He was trying to encourage him. He was trying to this. So what Schwisz is saying is like, yo, guys, I remember being there at the junk programs, but I remember that being with this guy. Nobody else was here. Because now it's cool to see our old friends and everybody come together and we should salute him. But damn, where y'all was that when I was fighting that real battle, trying to change his life around and and and so you know that's how he really really felt. You know, I watched Black Robs too, and his brother said, everybody be shipping up Uff Daddy, Buff Daddy looked out. He always looked out for Black rob You know, addiction. Once again, it's some what do you do? Right? So I got a cousin that he gets high. What am I supposed to do? Go do a show and give him ten grant? Say he could go get high and make somebody rich with the ten grant? What are you supposed to do if my brother was so up? No, I don't know what he died of, but he had problems that I don't like from something that happened. I don't know. What I'm saying is Black Rob, Black Rob. I don't want to sound like Earth God or anybody. You know Black Rob had his issues too, because it doesn't know that was the issues said said that. I don't know. I'm not saying that he had his issues with addiction. To what I'm saying is what could you have done? Like you would have gave him a car? He would have you know, that's the problems with addiction, you know. And everybody got family members that went through this, Mariah Carrey's family members. It don't matter how you could be the King of England and have a nephew that's getting high, you know, you know, it's God in the miracle. If they got the power to fight off that addiction. Not too many people have that. What is going on the real c We're gonna just acknowledge rest in Piece of Black Rob, Rest in Piece of Shock g And we also lost Prince Marky d not too long ago. The Prince Markey d I took for advantage. I took, I took up, took shock for a vent. You know, it's the same thing that reminded me of he lived in Tampa. So with me, with with Prince Markey Dee, somebody opened the doors Puerto Rican again and the Fat Boys, and he was always here in Miami and I knew it was he was available to go hang out with and talked to him. And when he died, I was like, damn, it's nothing like I used to see him drive the school to PA. I took him for granted, Like I should have spent more time with him. He was a legend. I could have learned from him. I could have learned from him. And so uh. And then when we talk about Black Rob, were talking about DMX, we talk about we talked about Fred de Garson like so many people, Andre Horrell. We know it's a lot of icons this year, whether it was COVID or anything else. So you know, it's been it's been a sad year for hip hop. Let's make some noise for us making the man. Let's make some money. So let's talk about Dog in the yard, Pete. And when you got water, drinking, water on and drinking. So let's talk about dog in the yard. What is it? How you came up with it, and let's go with it. I just felt like I wanted to give something back, you know what I'm saying. I'm always uh been a guy that you know people look at, you know, as the as the trouble maker, as the guy that you know goes around the bully people or whatever I have. You know what I mean. It's a bunch of different stories, right, So I want to give something back, you know what I'm saying. I wanted to give something back that I'm gonna love to do. So I was it took a long time to be honest with you, like you just have to find myself to open up, and took a while to till actually get on the mic and no just just to no, no, just to be a good guy many people. And let's thank godless. And the way he's says that he came a time when now he feels like, yo, I've been through it. Like for crime, that's what you're saying. The courage to youth, that's about jail reform and whatnot. Don't go to jail because it ain't cool. So you hear these stories from all these guys who did ten years, twenty years, this that, yeah they get seventeen Yeah, so you know it's not so you know, it feels good to bring that, you know, because a lot of people get a lot of good feedback, you know what I'm saying. Everybody's getting there. Like Yo, you know my daughter, she ain't listening to me and all that, and now she she's seen like an episode She's like, oh ship. You know, like I sit down with my daughter to watch Dog in the Yard. We sit down and watch Dog into Yard. You know what that new episode. You gotta know you gotta do the joint. It gotta be something that that you had, just like your Joe said, you gotta be passionate about what you what you want to do, you know what I'm saying. So I I just don't want to do it for the brand, you know what I'm saying. A YouTube show is it just YouTube? Here? It's on platform, Okay, you know what I'm saying. Okay, how about the audio too? You got the audio? Got the audio? All that cool? Cool? Can get some money on that, you know, I'm gett contact. So so what do we got to do to get you in French Montana on the same we needed for New York City. We need it for the folks. We need it. We need it. Which people can we do? I mean not we just people just gotta act right. You know what I'm saying. Don't never change just because you you you became on this level and all that. I mean, I don't, I don't. I don't give a funk about that. I don't look at how big you're getting all that. You know what I'm saying, look at I look at that A little brother. I got a person. I never said ship. I never co signed pissuing him all getting with each other. In fact, I know, I'm just saying, it's long time ago. You know, these niggas bunching chet the records. He started what I'm saying, he got mambo. You know, Ship that was kind of a master. He's a master. French is my brother, and I love him to death and and and Pistough that's all old news. And you know I was very upset with Pistol when he did that, because I really truly loved French Montana and I didn't want French looking at me sideways because they think that when pistol with one of the Terrors squad guys go off, it's the lone boys zone. Bos He talking about people think like, oh, Joe might have sanctioned that. Joe said, your same seat until he thought that somebody for Michael had this something crazy and he thought that I had the sanction that people thank ye, it's crazy, and it was like be crazy something like your mom, let me get to the bottom. So but that's a long time ago down. Just to clarify that I love French soup. You know what I'm saying, I hate the guy. It's not like that I love the guy with the accent. What happened that you was talking about? What happened? How did y'all fall out? Or you want to move move on? I mean it, So what was it just to change up? We don't want, we don't want. I don't like changes, because I remember one day it was me and you we were both waiting to film with French Montana, and I believe it it was just let me take something French first supporter, by the way, you know what I'm saying. When French had Cocaine City and all that, well, what was that Cocaine City. I took him to my neighborhood. He interviewed me. You know what I'm saying, like I showed them bullet holes, like this is what happened in my neighborhood. This is this is who I am, you know, like I helped him out every way. He was like, this is my little man. Like this it's all ve bro Like, I ain't got no problem with french Man. You know, we all going to be as family. I mean we can have we can get into a little arguments and all that we love. It's all up. So dog in the yard, let's get it. Whoever you had on that so far? You had big you? How was that episode? That was great? Man? You dry? You know what I'm saying. Information on it? Joe crack the dawn, I said, because both these guys right, well, he beat him to the Reformation, the Transformation. So he's much night. It's gun gonna walk, this gun going off and crazy. He's my little brother. And this guy, it's like, so he comes and you're the same one, right, I am the most same one. So he comes up to me from time to time. You in fact, yo, if homeboy don't come up from my show. I tell you, I wait every other way. If you don't make the call, I will get him this show. You know he calls yo, Norm's tuck in my I. You know how you screaming guy screaming at get the fucking shots to this show. So from that, from that happening, since being Norm, he got together, right and he's on dog in the y'all. You know what I'm saying. He had fun drinking. You got the two and you got me to drink. I got to the you go on the two part episode. No, no, you you know when you when you're on that thing you're telling you on that laundry room, he's the cream. This is for real New Yorkers, right, question for New Yorkers. I said it on your your show, but I just want to be New York. Yeah, but real New Yorkers, this is too famous. Pistol Piece and us for queens. We both heard this from the Bronx. We always started as one the guy right, come to find out this the Puerto Rican and then there's the sex money murder thing. Was that ever like an issue for you, like another person called myself pistol Pea, or was it all like you on I'm on that side on this side, like I told you on I told you on question no he wrot drink yeah, And I asked you one U dinner first question. I want to ask your questions before we started, I said, I want to say for drink chair. But they he was on man, I was that guy. Tell you he said you ever met Pistol p right, say yes, I met him. I met him on an MPTC. You know what I'm saying. He was an MTC together and I was with all the cold defenders that was with hereybody. And he he was like, y'all, I want to be Pistol with ship like that. So he's he's cold defenders. It was with me. So he was like, yo, I came to the gate and we he was a yo man pleging me you Pistol man. I was that was uping man. He said, yo, what's up? Man? Said you go? I said yeah. He said you don't hold your head and shot like that. I see that you're keeping the rail. I'm here with your cold defenders and all that. He was like, yo, man, you the g my brother man. You know not but love and a respect. And I said, you keep your head up man, and keep rapping your name and all that. You know what I'm saying, Keep keep that piston he always contrust. Just let me tell you this is the first and this always was, always was loved. He's way younger than me. Man, you know what I'm saying. I'm not I'm not here to be like he can't use a name or I'm not caught up with that ship wrap man, dude, whatever you want to be. If you called me the mars of you, by the way, I'm not, don't call me over no more. Call me superman. That's your name. Goddamn. So let's just let's just keep it on the Bronx right now. Right. You got j Lo, you got french Montown, you got Big Point, you got fred to God's Son, you got so how just just describe for people who've never been to the Bronx, who never come to the Bronx, described through, through and through your brothers, just described it then before and now. I mean it's hard. You know, we invented hip hop. Piste block. I don't even know pistol knows, but pistols block cipers as that's where grand Master Flash actually lived. My brother was a great boy for grand Master Flash. So back in the days there wasn't serado or nothing. They used to They used to have a bunch of vinyls. So every time Flash went to DJ and Paul, my brother would go and pick up the cricks. That's how I know grand Master Flash living Cypress. I would go with my brother to grand Master Flash's house. So it's it's amazing to think of this ship that don't went around this whole world. You got German rap, fucking Taliban, Mexican, Cuban, whatever, it's every corner of the world started in the Bronx and we have the age of when it started just being fans of it or whatever the case may be. Now we try to carry on tradition, you know what I'm saying. After the Pioneers care arrest came, you know, we had justice, we had care arrests, we got Slick Rick Slick with the rulers from the Bronx where he's from the Bronx, right, He's from the Bronx, and so um, it just evolved in it. With me, it's a special honor to me knowing that you know, I come from the birthplace of hip hop and I try to push it to every other level that we can um. When we grew up in the Bronx, it was a different Bronx than it is now. Now it's more surveillance driven, Like I don't know how these people kill people two thousand twenty one. Hell, guys, if you're in the trap house right now, okay, if you're in the traphouse watching drink champs, do not rob the gas station or the bank without a mask. Do me the fucking favorite man that's a guy shot up Tom Squid, Yes, yesterday, no man, no man mask. So I'm like, shootout, shoot out, its busts. People are getting dumber. No, you know what it is, slipped them stimmies. Too crazy. They took them stimmies and they flipping. They keep going, and now that everyone's everybody. Everybody got bads, but we dass two different drums because everybody got brad. It's not the broke error right now. If you know a broke person, he seeks sucking insane because everybody got a stimmy everybody. For real, I don't know broke people. I don't know people. I really don't Maybe I don't know, but sim please, no shootouts, no mask and nor at least don't they just you know, we gotta no shootouts period. If you not do ship because you're in the big old jail, camera's all over New York. Man, you're trying to close, right, do ship? Did you think about that? They should close? Hell? Yeah, that ship mall yeah, that's that didn't sinking. Goddamnit. I'm saying, let's tell your story with Joe. Joe is out of story. Man to see uh, to go see Sean? Oh you remember that? Yeah, we can't talk about it. All that we went to see and the one who was coming from that and they see on the opposite side, Mr Pete, who approved him like the warden came out of all like you said, Oh my god, No, I told us, Pister Pete, it's coming in a who teachs with the water man? Now, you know, I mean, you know, pist is it a true story? Uh? Dad? So in New York, you know, I don't really approve of it. Uh, I'm gonna keep it. Well. I don't really approve of slashing and cutting people. And you know, for something that's a New York then I think all around the country there is somebody's gonna bang you out. They bang you out in New York for some reason. They want to cut your face. The Razors ship, right, and so, but it's so bad. I'm like, it's alan. What's the story about the ofs and and and the Mentens, the Mettens and the turtles. Well, no, no, I was, well, I when I was there. When I was there, I was I was the first predictate on Racke's Island. That's the that's the meaning. I'm I'm the only I'm the guy, the first guy that comes around shackle with my legs, my feet and all that from cutting people, you know, visiting rooms you want to wait till the visiting room off the all kind of ship. So I became a predicate. So when I went back to Racke's Island from the fast back to Yeah, when I went from the fedback to Racket's Island, they had the Mentenes, they had red I d you know what I'm saying. So the meeting top classif the same ship, just that you were admitting that you were all day. You know, I'm saying, by the time you get back from quoting all that, this your fucking handsomere like ship. This ship is all fuckings like you know how you when you wet your hand for a while. The ship you know, my man, I used to have this ship on my behind my joint old day in court. What I'm saying, and that's the ship that you used to go through. That's the minutes, right I D. That's give you that you go through that when you when you cut a lot of people like that, or you get caught with a lot of knights and shut like that on the time they give you d I D. You can also wear minutes and shut like that, you know what I'm saying. But when you cut people and all that you catch on the salt, you know what I'm saying, Like you know for life. You know, if I ever I thought I kid reform. He wants to get back to the commuter's a little that's a little sing a little I'm a suspading it. It's the day of the life, day to life. The day of the life I wanted to say, the life of the life of New York City, New York City ship. You know what? You know? I got twenty piston peaks in my chamber now the terror spot. These guys are all looney really, these guys are all looney tunes. Were performed a nice guys. Nobody is like some imagine dealing with all these guys. Me. I've been in physic I've been a therapist, a mental therapist for the for my whole life. Dealing with these looney tune guys. These guys are crazy, man, joke. Don't give me so many phone calls. Well, I've talked so much, yo, let's go line. You say, Percy called the case pistol pete. What is the fact Princion was in there for what? Three attempt murders? You know what I'm saying, Percy was there for murder? You know what I'm saying that Joe crack uh. So you know what I'm I was fighting for my life. By the way, it's easy. It's hard to be like years. Yeah, that dog in the yard, so I know, even fighting for his life this whole time. So what I'm just saying is a lot of people tell you what they do. A lot of people tell you they'll stick by you. And don't you know, Joe Crack, he knows, you know the minute. Unfortunately they falsely accused them, are allegedly accused them of triple attempt murder. You know what I mean? He was was it said to say he was comfortable enough to know Joe Crack got your back and so came on. Yeah, he called a triple attempt and the ship for three years shout out to do floor man, don't Flooria it comes that, don't ye? Number one attorneys Dawn, she got Percy out, she got a bunch of people out, and so I got Dawn and sat, let me know if I'm going too far. Pistol calls me he's about to go to trial, and orline he's about to go to try says, your Joe can meet me. I don't know if I'm going too far, but we could right. So I meet him and he says, yo, man, she's a chick. Are you sure she could beat this case? It might be a lot for a girl of this. I said, your pistol, trust me, bro Daw, it's the best in again. You remember that calling. It was like no, because I don't know what she's too soft And she said this, I said, a pistol. I guarantee you the one is gonna do what she got to do. Has she beat the triple Acham, she beat Percy and it's my lighter here. But I'm what you wanted. My life on trial and Norda he had bail. Yeah, I was out. I say he was out, like yo, I didn't even have you know, Joe cat Man, you know I didn't even have to be in New York. Like that was a phone call. Y'all get my boy out. They get that back the football number balls. That boy was out, Like by the way, I got the chance. It's dropping this this week. Welcome home on my HOMEI down Leazy down home. This is a nice guy. He knows all the psycho paths, Lazie. It's just the third time he's been back since we started. Back and back, Elzie, welcome home. But this is what I do. I'm gonna say yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, no no no no, because I was having a brain far having a brain far Okay, because we ain't gotta drag quick time of slove. Okay, you got a quick time of slive. Let's go came right face expression. What do we gotta montage of your expressions? I'm trying to mask it. Kali he does this ship with his eyes a real big like you know what kind of really good the big So it is. In fact, the segment is called quick time and Slive. All you gotta do is ads. Some one of the are either are right? These are pretty simple, pretty easy, but you know some of you might be stuck on. Usually we do if you get stuck on. When you pick both, you take a shot hypnotic. This is this is this is the show. This is not not just you know all right? Are you ready off top? You should be taking the shot at least of eights uh naas with jay z oh come back. You can say both and then it's just a shot. Yeah, open the h Okay, it was my can I get Can I get the I get the watermelon? Y'all? You gotta take the shot to take a shot with you. Hold on, I'll join you. I want to want to go there by yourself. Don't pother. You know, I just did a whole month. Or wait, I've been away a whole month, so it's signed to catch up. He was on key labs, was on it halfway. That's the way. I wasn't gonna make it. I went to all that ship. It was fun though, because you know, I got to do a lot of ship. I got to learn a lot of sap. Something to blow the bell of y'all. But what was it? He going? All right? Cool? Because I don't want to go. You go out there by yourself? This is you know. I'm gonna take a shot with you. You know you gotta go. You got the hot ship? You got that ship out of my truck? Oh fu you want? What do you want? He got coff? Usually we make the guests take a shot, but um, every time do you take a shot, I take a shot with you. Okay, now something for you, jay z Jaz, you're taking a shot? Okay? Cool last and cool? That's hot. Might as well feeling about all big up. Oh you can say both, man, don't just come on you look bigger too. You got to take a shot. Remember I love him both, So what do you want to do? Take another shot? There's some fa let beginnin Thank god y'all stopped this ship at the beginning of the show. Y'all set it off with the push pretty much rich rich might be drunk, thank you, pretty good? Um in d of guys, let me ask you a questions. So busy you can't Columbia, Columbia. I'm not good like that, man, don't do that. I want to take away to e J Enough sweating and you and Ike and y'all got me so fun. I want three days in the wrong. I feel like this is enough. That bad enough. Who's supposed to you? You're coming on here too, brother, So we're taking a shot right now. That's a beautiful thing. I've seen him on the Pretty Louse Show. He does on I G the greatest interviews ever. I was like, okay, it's funing m the league game. Say it's not me. Joe promis all right, after this one, you make the league, come here after this one. The league. I think that league sha chain on South Spill. Now you're taking this shot. Good, Take this shot. Take good, it's good. Damn what you're trying to do. Joe's my big homie and everything but media and media. He's my little homie, you know what saying? Now, Now I take that as a shot. Take that as a shot. At one time he was like, yo, chokes, my little homie. She's my own me, your records, everything you're being on with it immediate. He's my little man. You don't let me have that joke. Do you want to have after the city, this nigga after this one, don't know. After this one gets a little easy, all right, d Mexa Tupac after this when I said, Xa Tupac, you know I'm gonna go home. My wife is good. A thing I was doing other things him not trees is right? It's neutral for you? What this one? That's every woman? No he a Max the tupap. Yeah, that's that's that's okay. I mean, I'm with you. Can I have a record question? When is the question's own form? But it's just this one to be easy Miami or l a Miami. All right, that's cool. So you know this one, this should be easy for you Mets or the nixt Okay, this is Kata, New Yaw. This is all Juliusrand Kagan, New yak. This is also easy in my New Yaw random man fucking Knicks four seed. But I just see uh d Rouse, I just the big and I went straight to Mr Childs and he was there, and I said, holy morning, thank you for helping us, like thanking help. We're looking good. Listen. And you know I don't usually probably when the Knicks is doing good, which they haven't been for him long time, when you take us and say something publicly. I tweeted out some dumb ship and people would just end. Then from there we'll go. So I said, I didn't say that. I was quiet. Look, I want to say nothing about sports. You almost I'm not paying attention. I'm not. I'm sitting there. Mr Chiles and Derek go so humble. He walks up to me. I'm a fan. Um. I don't know if you know who I am, but look, let's say what I jumped. Of course I know who you are. I'm bless you, thank you listen, so listen, nixt Nation. I'm so sorry. That's my first post since the Nick's been doing good. I'm so sorry if I'm the Jinks, if they're gonna take listen here. Stephen A. Smith is a huge Nick fan. But he's like, you know, no, no, because nobody went you know, the next don't win. He stopped the opposite. He started, oh yeah, he started going crazy talking about the Knicks. And then we lost two games in a row. I started to think, yo, this naked jeans and talking that ship. But we won yesterday. We beat a clipping yesterday. That's why he was all right, quick, tell myself, quickly, obviously quick, all right, Yankees are the Mets. Yankees now hard? I think too. I think these two loyalty and respect you t d J. Permer or d J Collin taking not a shot yond and telling now this one I don't know, hold on one of these guys. Kind of gimmick. They're trying to get you drunk my purpose, No, no, this is this one is drinking some liquor. I actually don't know your answer, independent or major Independent? You see, I take a shot. When you told him I was going to not we fight over this, over this. I always say independent all the time, Joe, I'll for you. You can't I can't go for a platinum lux You reached the bus, but you gotta own your ship. You gotta own your ship. Bro. Back then, I want to know what I do. But we I just hearing about this. I mean now now, but back then, you remember being on the major. Don't fun no, no, being a done fund on being on a major. Fat Joe, you got the major? Come home? But nah, I like being independent. I like working my own ship. I like you know what I'm saying being you know what happened was we used to go to these guys, right so you think about Fat Joe, Fat Dawn. You know the way I had to go to these guys and beg these guys to sit behind the guy behind the desk and be like, are you gonna work my record? Are you really gonna do it this time? Are you gonna pay for the radio and the video promotion? Are you gonna? And they're like, yeah, we got you this. And I'm looking at the sponsor out of the castle sitting across the I'm gonna say, I'm looking at I'm looking at a permission for ship. My man funk that and we we we we we uh pouring our hearts out and we're making our music hours and hours and telling our lives stories about and then turned around and then these people when they're successful. You know, you're a guy that comes that you never met in your life and comes six to picture with you with the Grammy like they did something. I'm not with that, man. I you know, I'm with the artists on the their own ship do ticking things. That's just me. And to be fair, it's not necessarily saying fun the industry or the major because if you set yourself up independently, you can take advantage of the major. Okay, friends, cleaning this ship, understand all right, So this should be easy for you, Scott, starting for Scott Storch, I wanted you to make a decision with no family ties. But if that's what you're going with, you think, you think, you think, Scott, it makes sense, you think, But yeah, I can't go and get I like that. I like the family is still eating from Scott. This is also gonna be easy. But it's gonna be like his man. That's right. That's that's the white boy connection, the back of the right right. Goddamn it. It's a little hard for you and I love for around let's be good times hotel, godamn me, Mom, or CARDI b n me Mom, break a little Wayne, Little Wayne that was ill Belly the movie, or pay them for paying for It's pretty easy, That's all I'm thinking. Now I'm guessing this producer. This is just producer IRV Gotti or Puff Daddy producing producing. That's a hard one, not just even because of like take the shot. It's a hard one because, man, I think Irv is a genius and then puff Daddy's a genius. Chose he's coming back as love taking a shot. I'm in I'm coming back as love because they're both phenomenal. Like Earv Gott he is a genius, Puff Daddy he is a genius. I gotta take the show. Don't let me ask you both get money with this guy. He's a great guy. But can you be out of the music business for as long as Puff has been out of the music business, and can he recreate that? Could he recreate this moment that he had? He can never recreate that same manager? Okay, right, so he can make it? Will Pump Daddy make a masterpiece? It's all R and B he is and it's gonna be incredible. Is it gonna be flying all that? Yes, but you can never recreate because boom it comes the brand new flavor. You can't come in kicking the door where you can't. It's just an energy that that you know, big putt in the middle of a little but do you know what it was to be around at that time? Do you know? But Daddy used to come out and they used to have picket signs in the middle of this. You can't recreate that energy. Like you always tell me what Jay says to you, like why do you keep doing this ship? And how do you keep doing this ship? The thing about it it is, you know did he's my brother? Like I sat down with him one time and he said, you know, Normy, just do what you want to do. And I said, yeah, like whatever he's like, because sometimes I'm just too rich to care. The illest conversation I've ever had. I've never heard somebody telling me I'm just too rich to care. So never you want to could happen just because he can be two risks that can't care. You still still really though he cares, I'm wanting a Justin Bieber the off day doing the there like I get cares he cares when it comes to music. There's no way he's gonna put out a new project that fire Daddy is gonna put it together. It's going to be fired. There's no doubt in my mind that it's going to be fine. That makes him look for the motherfucking chairman. But i'm because I don't know where he keep written. Is he's doing, he's doing, He's just all he's making the album and he's in that space. So let's be clear. This is a vote, this is on the vote, but this is his the music. I want to know if he's still you know what I'm saying, Like, I got to realize that's how ILL error to try to remember bad Boy was bad Boy not trying, you know. Is that's why I actually that first questions was remember actually the first question, uh, you know, I don't want to bring that energy back, but I actually the first question was we was we was listening to your old ship? No? No, that's seriously I'm not lying, right, but this is your old ship and was on all your old ship too, So I'm like that what I'm say I knew puff Daddy when he had a seat through chain on, he had no money I knew she was so small ship look invisible setting, like I knew Pump Daddy. I knew Pump Daddy before you had that. I wasn't ready. I was there when he was running around with Biggie like, listen to my man, Listen to my man. That's how back I go with Pump Daddy and just Biggy too. And I heard you have this record to us Tupac. No, no, no, no, no no, I'm saying it's Biggie Puff. It just all makes sense. I'm just saying, no, we can't do. I gotta relax. I went you far to be bad, Joe. I don't know if you know. I just came up a quarantine. Quarantine. I had to go to a fourteen days of film and I couldn't have my phone. I had nothing. You got married again? No, I didn't get married again. Proposed again because let me be clear, for niggas, that's real niggas and people that's out here. I never completed my white wing set. She just had one. She never asked to be upgraded. I never want to get two of them. No, so why not you know you're making a lot of one. No, that's not the truth. Come on you are you? Are you making last? How we just hurt my yo? Let's get no, but you're hustling. I'm hustling. I want to tell your something to this guy's he buying nothing. I tried to get him to buy a lollipop. She's how you know he Hopefully he don't die before you saw you do. It's about using Mr Chad and off the story. You don't give a funk. I might guy them all. He's like Rich Flair, the broning under the mattress. I got. We gotta watch this Shong, Yo, we gotta It's just it's the same ship tomorrow you watch. That's what we need to say. That's why we need to spend it. Let me ask you a question, why are you cheat? I'm not cheating Joe Joe the wost episode just because I don't spend. I can't because you don't, you'll hate me. I don't know what I'm still saying. You don't hate with me just because I don't spend like you don't mean I'm cheap drinking. I'm saying going to I said, I'm not talking about taking the family to a Marlin's game with the hot you are very careful with your money, yes or not? Because nothing is promised. What if you die tomorrow, you never got to enjoy your money. What do you mean if my kids will enjoy my money? Okay, okay, that's all that matters to me. Well you got Okay, No kid don't when he got to your kids, we haven't made it there yet. Let's not. Let's not count those blessings even got, they're not gonna die with it. Me personally, I'm yolo. You only live once and I'm not doting. No, you're more careful than us. He cracked slops this every game. You're very different. You know it's a different You don't have a lot of fucking money. I love money. I hate about I have this me like there I go on that case. You know I got more money than Joe. This thing is just want to spend his money. This is that. But I'm I'm living. You're allowed to do what you want. But you know, I'm I believe it. We only live once, man, and we're gonna have the biggest time, the best time. We guys, that's my ship. You know what you have? You have older kids, I got young young kids. Know we all have to take tell you my only live ones is give it to them right. No, that's nothing I'm saying. I get your you have a sacred point of yo. Look this is that there was a man who worked thirty years and saved every single dollar of his life. His dream was Dominican guy to go to Santo Domingo. He wanted he wanted to go on build the biggest house. This man worked two jobs for thirty years. He gets on American Airlines and JFK to finally go to santh of Domingo. The fucking plane crash. He never enjoyed one dollar of the thirty years that you know what would make you think that I don't enjoy my whatever? No, no, no, no, no, I'm not saying that. I just know that you're very careful and i'mful t careful people off your carefulness. You thank you, you everything. I am tired of y'all. Once you do, bro, you got alone here, let me go to college. And more than that, you have a lot of money. You're not getting not confusing me. You got your ship. I'm living match. I don't know. You know, I'm not confused. You know what to say. I'm happy for you bless you, God, bless you. By the way. I don't know if you know drink champs Hays to me if Joe always go out of a little because it give me you think someone kill me? Originally I did originally originally was Cuban. You never know, you don't ever rest with it. You stay nineteen ninety three. It's just you want to re get a Cuban rapper my pile. Dig it up, bro I brought back twelve fucking Cuban brothers and s. I'm from my Scott, I'm from elite. My father went to no I'm born in New York. But my father and my mother saved up four boat, bullshit boat they went from the keys, they went. They only gave him to two of my sisters, Lord's and Mercy and dirty Cubans. Do you know where those Cubans ended up? Living in the South Bronx and Apartment five V Nick I used to have to step over Cuba in five all those two wings that my father didn't even tell people. All the we're in the beginning of hip hop relaxed, Julio Cahol, check in Corlett and none. You know these things lived in my house. Who do I call why, I gotta tell you. With you, you're gonna make some money, You're gonna do some business. But whatever, you give me a dollar like I just want to go. No, No, I don't want to I'm looking at it. Called guy. I introduce you to Gazi was he was not one of the best. He's the best. More than the dollar at you, he did way more than the do my relationship. Listen, I didn't say that. I can tell you. You know annoy me. I give you all my connect You're my brother, and you do you don't lock no blessings. You introduced me to Ghazi. You know what I'm saying. That's one of the best relationships and one of the best business things I haven't did in my life. That's because of you. You've always blessed me. Um. When it comes to jay Z, you may. I called you because I knew you were cool with Memphis Bleek. Yes, the squaw was on remix. It was Whole who hit me direct, But I knew it was meth Bleek who who connect you? Because Bleek said to me, this is the exact words he said, you show off that Joe wants to squad. I'm scared because I'm scared because he could have funked up in our relationship. I'm done this at Spain, will not be here. Okay, this is my brother with that one of the best plugs you ever made in your life that has come back to you. I believe in God and God along Jesus said to me, y'all because I got the phone a hole and he said, I'm gonna get you. Got one favor for me. I owe you a favor. You do this, you correct service such or such or such. I'm watch you. I'm walking in. Joe hits me, said how do you get in contact with the y'all? Y'all really hit me, but I knew I said this very moment. I said, you're not doing music. You're doing great, but this this ship you're doing right now, you don't need a Jay z Verst. He got the record. I called. I said I got you, and you called me and I said I got you, and I called Bleak. Bleak said I'm pulling over. When I said you sure, Joe want to squash it because I saw him two weeks ago. He said Joe had the ice grilled on and I said, that's that. Brooklyn Browns ship. That's just freestyle. But now I'm scared because I'm like, what if he's really And Joe said, I promise you. So I said, I'm walking into Brethers Club of crazy working and I'm gonna be honest. The fact that no one gets a favor from jay Z, no one gets that. But when you put somebody else in front you, like this is you my brother? You put me in front you so many times I felt like this was my time. I owe you this anyway, but it was like I wanted to do that. I felt I had to do that, and you know what, my life had been the best since then. What could I really do? Of course I would would did the right but I did the right thing. You had, you had the record, You're my brother. I was. So the problem was that it was my only problem. I tell you, it's your face. You put Sean backs first time. Just be clear, Let's be clear. Let's be clear. Let's be clear. Sean Back I was, at twelve years the hook up for jay Z first he had he worked for rock Nation longer than Kanye West's marriage. I kept that, Sean Bega did not do that. You did that. I didn't, he kept he kept the rest. Yeah, Bicky kick us for twelve years. Yo, Joe used to sit down. They should sit down. Everybody should sitting there, which was the best thing. You know, it made no sense. You know, I was a bad guy when I when we when we came into the game. I can't body you. And a lot of mistakes I made, you know what I mean. I try to make it. You know what I'm saying. I try to make up for it. But you know, thank God, everything's great. Everybody's family, everybody, everybody getting money. Who could be mad right now? No body? I don't know. I listen. If you're mad out there, some jealousy, you gotta get yourself with money, You get yourself some bro, because I don't know mad niggas no more. I don't know both people no more. Everybody, And to oversee see you got that man. If you don't know who is a real one. He has been by my side through kick and thin, through good times bad times. Sin has been with me through dick and thin. He's not just a promoter or nothing like that. He's truly my brother. I love him like a brother. I love his brother like a brother. And then my family some of the most honest guys I ever did business with. When I was in jail, he came to visit me. Um, I've been around the world with him and I love him and uh, shout out to you. Sometimes I don't recognize him because he lost but now he's three human beings. Yeah, come over here, come in, give him a chair. You gotta jail, you gotta chill, you know, ship, Come on, come on, come on, yeah, give him. Used to be this big, this big, this big, and I was sitting next to him in the plane. Drop over here, right, so si, it used to be this big, literally this big, and I was sitting on the plane with him, and I would pray for him while he was sleeping the ship, like I'll be like, your God, he's a good dude because his heart is incredible. God, please save see it. He's a great dude. This this, that. Because I thought he was gonna die because he literally so big. You're getting healthy, yeah, but yeah, yeah, um, but see it was like he was out of control and then he just changed his whole life. I'm like you, I tell him sometimes, like a triple what made you want to lose weight like that? Basically, people like you like inspiring me. And that's the time when you were going through a transformation. And then put him into the side and you know, give me a back up call, you know. And and and that's where I realized, you know, looking at you, if you can do it, I can do and you take series the whole covid. I'm in the house watching Instagram and this guy is playing Rocky picking up rocks and all right, you're right, your damn a little bit white boy in see it's going hard on the whole covid. And uh, how's your life change? Is low s weight? Like that? You know, you have a whole different energy you can when you when you accomplish a lot of stuff, and then you inspire a lot of people that look up to you and they want to know how you made that transformation. That gives you a whole different energy that you want to help other people. You want to and you want to go to another level where you can see, you know what, there's no limits. You can't achieve everything. And that really transfer transforming a business, Like I became much more successful in business. I'm accomplishing more stuff, Like I really envisioned stuff in my mind and I really go get it. And that's that's incredible feeling. And I'm trying to always look at for my people such as you know, people that support you and always believe in you, because now especially in that in this business is very very tough to find people like real people like such as Joe that is, you know, they are they really care about you. You know what I'm saying. That's really impressive. And that's where I always go out of my way to trying to bring stuff to the table and trying to accomplish on each other level I can to contribute. Right now we're talking about, you know, doing a weight lost show and inspire other people fly. Because I want to know what intermediate fasting is now intermittent, intermittent, it could be intermediate. If you want something, I'm about to try that for my birthday. Tell me he was doing that. No, I did it. You did it. I did it, but I'm not. I'm not doing it now. I don't think you can do it for life. Now you can do it for life. It's just that amount of time of the day and then eating another when no breakfast will be The first meal would be like one two in the afternoon and then you'll eat like four hours later. It could be there's different levels of it. You could pick how you want you want to do it. It's it's it's a matter of just getting your body in a fasting mode. It's the weirdest moment on Dream Champs. Yeah, I mean that's what day. See what I'm saying, it's a positive thing. You're talking ship. What's wrong with that? The dream jobs? We want somebody to go Google see it's picture when back in the days Mane, you will not believe that's him standing here for real and now he got to pay for pussy. Don't say no one day one day Columbia. See it comes out of the room, he says, hey, yallna no pays. My last question, what's going on in Columbia. I've been away for a month. I've not had social media, I have not had a phone, I have not had nothing. Why um but I really he got me a baddy. But but what is coming on Colombia. We're we're on social media. I was. I don't know everything. But it's it's really about the COVID. COVID Texas is hurting Columbia lot. What is it the government to try? What I do know that cover by texting everybody. They do know is that unfortunately, there's videos of police officers literally running down on people and shooting them dead in the middle of the street, just like New York is cameralary, helicopters killing that guy standing on the corner. Cops on motorcycle who pull up, Cops a motorcycle, bank bank killing them, pulling over, pounding dudes out, like the ship they're doing over there. What people are protesting, telling the people don't stay home, yeah, stay home, And and basically the police are really really running like a gang or something right now. What they're saying if you're in the street and not a clap of we're killing you, we're not. You're pounding. We're blowing in your brains out to the point of where there's a lady who's the chief of the police begging the police not to kill the people. The lady who's the bosses on TV, like, please don't kill the people. Like cops are just rolling up on people, bang banging them out and just keeping them moving the ship. It's really crazy and come up. Yeah. So one they just say, before you get up out of here. One THEYNA say to the people. Well, I just want to um, you know, take care of always people that look after you, and always uh find find inspiration for you and for people who love you, and trying to transform that energy and trying to live life, but leave it healthy life. That's all it is. I want to just think, no relationship for having me a drink chance you say, wearing that kill a rats uh T shirt for lean back kill. I want to thank God uhh the fact that we've seen some ship that ain't happened in a hundred years, the COVID, and we made it through and we bunk it in and we did the right thing. Um. Rest in peace to everybody that passed the way. Due to the COVID. A lot of people lost their families. And I challenge everybody to do whatever they can, whether they have money or not, to give back to the community, or whether it's putting in some extra time as a counselor whether it's putting in a little extra time helping some old people get groceries. It's time that we love ourselves and we give back to ourselves and our community. If you want to know what fat Joe is about now, my next two ten years will be yeared towards making a lot of money. May make that clear, because ain't got none wrong with making a lot of money and giving back to the people in the community and inspiring people and changing their lives and motivating them. That's what I'm about. That's what I'm doing about crazy. Thanks for joining us for another episode of Drink Champs hosted by Yours Truly, d j e f N and n O r E.
