Doc's Dumb Dumb of the Day

He's only 19 so we're cutting him a little slack. For the record, Jaxon, just because YOU feel your order is taking too long at Applebee's, threatening to bomb them on social media is a really, really, really bad idea.

The Lakeland, FL Police Department had a surprise visitor and a lot of excitement last Sunday afternoon. Someone brought in a box, and IN that box was a live Korean War era hand grenade. Everyone's fine.

18-year-old John Jordan walked out of a Circle K in Shreveport, LA without paying for his donuts, Honey Buns, pound cake and fountain pop. The clerk called the cops, who were still there when (for some reason) John walked back in. 

Leon Gillespie was arrested back in June after dressing up as the Grim Reaper, scythe and all, climbing onto the roof of a hospital in North Wales, and just standing up there staring at people. Creepy? A little. Funny? Kind of. Illegal? Yes.

Roxann Rizzuto went out last Friday to celebrate her purchase of a very nice new Rolls-Royce. She was pulled over after dang near hitting a cop car and blaming her new car's "loose brakes."

Joshua Thatch was scheduled to meet with his Parole Officer when cops pulled him over in his PO's parking lot. He had driven a stolen car to the meeting, which led to his arrest because, as we said, he's on probation ... for stealing cars.

Arizona State Troopers pulled over a motorist in Flagstaff and noticed they showed "obvious signs of impairment." Ironically, the driver's vanity plates said "Arrive Alive" in a frame that read "Drive Sober: Or Get Pulled Over." Oof.

First, 36-year-old Emily Fair stole a Pleasant Prairie, WI ambulance pickup in the middle of the night. Next she tried using the truck's radio to find food. When cops finally got her to stop they couldn't help but notice ... Emily wasn't wearing any clothes.   

42-year-old Eduardo Moraga didn't care much for his job at Planet Fitness in Coconut Creek, FL. He went out with a bang by stealing a gym member's credit card, making his way to a local barbecue joint, and enjoying some food and beer before being arrested. 

After purchasing a new 9mm pistol from Scheels in Lincoln, Nebraska, a 21-year-old man and his girlfriend only made it as far as the parking lot before there was trouble. Once back in their car, she was taking a video of him demonstrating how to rack a handgun when the gun accidentally discharged.  

This one's making the rounds mostly because of the higher profile of the person arrested. Amy McGrath, the Managing Director of ASU Preparatory Academy in Phoenix, AZ, was arrested for trying to walk out of a Target in Orlando, FL with $1,000.00 in merchandise. She hadn't paid but argued she "meant to."

Lenita Moreno was arrested for arson after starting a fire in her own wedding venue. The day before the ceremony, while setting up and decorating, the fire alarm went off. Authorities determined it was Lenita who started the fire under a chair using "items out of the ordinary." 

It's not so much that 39-year-old Shanae Watkins shoplifted bacon and vodka from 2 different grocery stores in Roseville, CA ... it was the amount; 19 packages of Oscar Mayer Thick-Cut Bacon and 12 handles of Tito's Vodka. She was caught. She was arrested. 

39-year-old Christopher Burton-Frazier just couldn't help himself. He somehow managed to steal a "Bearcat" (Ballistic Engineered Armored Response Counter Attack Truck) from the New Jersey Transit Police Emergency Service Unit. It's worth around $500,000, so they really wanted it back.

Daniel Ballance from Quartzite, AZ was arrested after being found naked on a train. It should be noted he was on TOP of the train, on the outside, train surfing. And did we mention he was naked?

30-year-old Farnardo Alexander Jr. had to think fast when cops pulled him over in Tampa, FL. He was driving with a suspended license so his bright idea was to try and quickly switch places with a passenger in the vehicle. It might have worked if only he'd remembered to put the car in Park before taking his foot off the brake.

When police pulled over Katelyn Maxwell Sunday night, July 12th, they knew right away it wouldn't be a routine traffic stop. They could tell from the smell of marijuana coming from her car and the fact she was "unencumbered by any clothing" or, as one officer put it, "buck naked."

On his way to rob a bank in Beltsville, MD Monday, a man stopped by a pet store next door and stole a cat. When he got to the bank he asked an employee to hold the cat while he robbed the place.

Jennifer Jimenez and Christina Alcalde are both school principals, and both were arrested for DUI early one Sunday morning. First Jennifer was pulled over and deemed "unfit to drive" and Christina was sent home in a rideshare. Two-and-a-half hours later cops spotted Christina driving the same car pulled over earlier. She was also deemed "unfit to drive" so both school principals were put in detention.  

A young man in Indianapolis was arrested after posting multiple photos and videos online showing off some guns. The arrest was due to the fact that 18-year-old Patrick Owens is on probation for gun charges and isn't supposed to have ANY guns. Some things you shouldn't brag about online. 

Flagler County, FL police had a fight on their hands with 47-year-old Ryan McMinn. He jumped into a canal filled with snakes and alligators and tried to swim away from the cops.  

Ethan Adams was arrested after failing to appear in court on a probation violation. When cops caught up with him he was wearing a "Jesus Beebe Bail Bonds" t-shirt. They'd given it to him the last time they bailed him out of jail.

While he was burglarizing a Verizon store in Odenton, Maryland, someone stole Jalen Godard's getaway car. He called the cops and that's when everything fell apart.

When Kary Sharpe of Tulsa, OK tried to hide from the police chasing him, he (maybe) panicked and chose a poor spot. Cops found him under their Police car. 

An Arizona driver was arrested for DUI after driving the wrong way on the Interstate around Tucson, AZ. She wound up sideswiping another car and flipping it on its roof. She told troopers she was trying to get from a bar in Phoenix to her place in Tempe. She missed that exit by 100 miles.  

30-year-old Ashley Andrews went to Taco Bell in Chester, MD and got upset when she felt her order was taking too long. Her next move got a bit more aggressive, ending in her arrest.  

84-year-old Charlene Davis was arrested after firing her revolver into her lawn. She was trying to get her neighbor's attention because she thought he was mowing too late in the evening. It was 8:15 p.m. and she was trying to sleep. 

A man in California had to call for help after falling into a chemical storage tank underneath a bathroom at Shaver Lake's Camp Edison. He was trying to retrieve the shades he dropped down the hole when he fell in. 

Tricia Croley and David Bennett were arrested in Laurel County, Kentucky after being caught with a bag marked "definitely not a bag of drugs" was, indeed, found to have drugs inside. 

Drinking and driving is never a good idea. Spinning donuts in a parking lot to impress your date is questionable. Doing BOTH in front of a police station, well ... 

How fast would you drive to get home before your favorite show starts? For THIS lady it's 108 mph.

Jake Minervini-Blue was caught outside the Oklahoma County Detention Center with a shovel. First he said he was trying to get to his girlfriend on the inside. Then he said he was planting a flower. Cops checked his background and found outstanding warrants. Jake went from an "outside visitor" to "inside guest" real quick. 

Devon Turner of Cape Coral, FL was on his way to court for burglary charges when he burgled again. He was caught trying to steal a shirt to wear to court.

Cory Coddington had quite the day Sunday in Deerfield, FL. After wrapping his SUV around a tree and stealing a woman's car when she stopped to offer help, Cory drove to a Chick-fil-A and helped himself to a child's french fries. When cops found Cory at a nearby gas station, he put up a good fight before finally being arrested.

40-year-old Victor Rivas tried to get away from the cops who stopped him by jumping off an Interstate overpass and into a Louisiana swamp. He may have briefly escaped from police, but Louisiana swamps are filled with alligators. Victor failed to escape from THEM.

A security guard in Bangkok was busted after breaking into a Buddhist temple's donation boxes. His method of concealment included a cloth over his head and ... chanting a concealment spell he believed would prevent others from noticing him. Spell didn't take, the guard was arrested.

Just because you thought you saw a man in camo carrying a bazooka doesn't mean you really saw what you think you did. Check twice before calling 911.

68-year-old Diane Blalock called 911 from an Ocala, FL bar because they wouldn't give her a Jell-O shot. She called 4 times before a policeman finally arrived ... to arrest her for misusing 911.

38-year-old John Mack traveled to Key West, FL from La Grange, IL for Memorial Day Weekend. He made it a trip to remember (or forget) after stealing a cop car to get from one bar to another. 

18-year-old Kristian Cochran was already wearing a court-ordered ankle monitor when he decided to start busting into cars in Dayton, Ohio. That gave police all the evidence they needed.

36-year-old Anthony Rhodes created a diversion inside a Maryland Walmart so he could snatch jewelry from a display case. He managed to cause around $10 million dollars in damage after lighting a shopping cart filled with fireworks.

Antone Glionna drove the the Sheriff's Office in Fultonville, NY to pick up a buddy arrested for DWI. Antone joined his pal in jail after failing the field sobriety tests.

Kaylie Santos is no longer a manager at the McDonald's in Southbridge, Massachusetts. She was fired after posting a video of doing something kind of gross with a customer's order of french fries.  

62-year-old Robert Benson of Navarre, FL sleeps in the nude. Nothing wrong with that. BUT he also went outside at 3 o'clock in the morning, nude, to remove a neighbor's annoying misfunctioning motion-sensor light. 

Okay, it was just 29-year-old Dalton Hubbert on his motorcycle, trying to outrun cops at speeds up to 120 mph. What made him stand out was his helmet ... complete with bunny ears, big blue eyes, and pink nose.

32-year-old Jane Hollingworth robbed a bank in Santa Rosa, CA. She was caught an hour later thanks to the description of "a woman with bright blue hair and a red leopard-print jacket." 

Marvel Walker, Jr. literally took the "o" right out of "police." He was arrested after removing the letter from the front of the Tacoma Police Department Headquarters. 

A tourist from Seattle was on a Maui beach when he decided it would be fun to throw a large rock at a seal in the water. When confronted, he shouted "I'm rich, I can pay the fines." A local man came to the seal's defense and took down the rock thrower. Luckily, there's video evidence of the whole thing.

Jonathan Gross had been "borrowing" his neighbor's wi-fi signal, we don't know for how long, but he sure got upset when that neighbor turned the wi-fi off. A baseball bat and alcohol were involved. 

Richard Carpenter of St. Petersburg, FL used a drone to scare off someone he thought was following him. It turned out to be a delivery driver, Richard turned out to be drunk.
