Doc's Dumb Dumb of the Day

An Amazon delivery driver was apparently enjoying BuzzBallz while on his route in China Spring, Texas. After driving over a resident's mailbox, he was witnessed stuffing empty BuzzBallz containers down a storm drain. Police arrived before the driver had time to sober up. 

A burglar tried to make his getaway after breaking in to a woman's home in Derbyshire, England. He should've mapped out his escape route first. After squeezing through a fence, he found himself surrounded by 8 llamas in a farmer's field. Those llamas weren't letting him go without making sure he'd been sufficiently psychologically scarred. 

23-year-old Benjamin Rakel visited Whiskey Wings in Largo, FL and walked out on his $64.18 tab. He was arrested when he went back the next day to retrieve the phone charger he'd left the night before.

Cops were called to a home in Boardman, Ohio last week. The call was for a domestic disturbance and there was a weapon involved ... a pan of lasagna. 

33-year-old Ricky Taylor picked an "unusual" weapon when he robbed a Taco Bell in Muncie, Indiana. He was arrested a block away, still in possession of the pruning shears he used in the hold up. 

If cops pull you over because your car's on fire, there's a good chance they're going to want a breathalyzer. Florida Man Patrick Rinaldi and his wife barely escaped tragedy last Friday but Patrick couldn't escape a DUI.    

An unnamed man in Pittsburgh had to be rescued after removing his clothes and jumping in the river at Point State Park. This all happened AFTER he stole a full-sized $30,000 harp from someone's home.

We really wish there were a way to find out how things went for this couple. They're either celebrating their 7th Anniversary ... or not. Originally aired Jan. 26th, 2021  

Jessica Wolf, 43 from Jacksonville, Texas was arrested days after making a video call to a Texas inmate. Maybe she forgot it was video and someone monitors calls AND video chats. That would explain why she thought it would be okay to smoke meth during that visit.  

A man from Kewlona, British Columbia was pulled over by police when they saw him behind the wheel with a pipe in his mouth. He told them it was marijuana (still illegal) but it turned out to be crack (more illegal).

Lindsey Josefsberg of South Miama, FL ordered a Lyft after her shopping spree at a Family Dollar. While the driver was loading her bags into the trunk of his Honda Accord, Lindsey hopped in the driver's seat and took off. Good for him, he'd left his iPhone inside and, with a few clicks in Find My iPhone, cops drove straight to Lindsey's place and found the car. 

James Taylor (not THAT one) was arrested in Pueblo, CO after making over 100 calls to 911 in one day. That's how cops found out there was a warrant for his arrest, so they went and got him ... after a few hour "stand-off."

53-year-old Thomas Lydon was summoned to appear before a judge for making threats. Thomas went and waited, but then got sick of waiting and left. When he showed up at the police station the next day to complain, he was promptly arrested for failing to appear in court. 

Cops pulled over a man in Waupaca County, WI for suspicion of driving under the influence. They called THAT one. He was (technically) 21 times his legal limit. After previous DUI's, the driver's limit was 0.02. He went WAY past that.

29-year-old Arianna Moss no longer works at Highland Recreation Center, all because of a 40 oz Stanley tumbler. Arianna was caught on surveillance cameras stuffing her coworkers' Stanley into her lunchbox.   

Erin Sutton isn't really a mermaid, but she told the cops arresting her she was "trying to be a mermaid." They got her out of her neighbor's pond, where she was trespassing, but then she got physical with cops, was tased, and wound up arrested.  

An argument can be made that this 38-year-old fortune teller was spot on when he predicted a 19-year-old girl would "lose a valuable item in the near future." Sure, that was right before HE stole her iPhone ... but he WAS right.

William White Jr. was working for the USPS in Pensacola and, after delivering a package, saw a 10-year-old boy on a scooter WITH that package. William decided he was going to get that package back by running the thief down with his mail truck. Thank God he (mostly) missed. Turns out the boy was taking the package to the neighbor's because William had delivered it to the wrong house. 

Police found Vladimir Demidovich hiding in a Florida garage Christmas morning. There were two problems; it wasn't his garage and he wasn't wearing any clothes.  

44-year-old Eric Rothenbuhler wrapped up 2025 in jail after stealing toys from under a tree at a Red Roof Inn in Florida Christmas morning. 

A 38-year-old man was arrested after leading cops on a foot chase. He tried hiding in plain sight by blending in with a Nativity Scene. It did NOT work since most Nativity Scenes have 3 Wise Men, not 4. 

A grown, naked man crawled under a gate at the Commerce City, CO Police Department and took a cop car for a short joy ride. Cops didn't know he wasn't wearing clothes until they pulled him out of the vehicle and arrested him.  

Latoya Clark was heading to federal court to face charges for conspiracy, money laundering, and wire fraud. Too bad her method of transportation was a stolen U-Haul cargo van. She didn't make it to court that day.

21-year-old Kayonne Baxter stole a Hyundai Sonata, parked it in the wrong spot, and found out it had been towed. He called police the next day asking if he could get his personal belongings out of it. "Sure," they said, "come on down." He was arrested.  

Kourtney, a DoorDash Driver, was arrested after being caught on a doorbell camera spraying what looked like pepper spray on the order she just delivered. The couple who ordered the food knew something was up when the wife had trouble breathing and threw up.  

24-year-old Dyllon Redfern was arrested after robbing a liquor store in Tulsa, OK. Police are confidant they have the right guy after finding Dyllon with the weapon used in the robbery, described by store  employees as "an old-timey musket."

We're not sure why, but 26-year-old Aaron Rodrigues De Los Santos really wanted that 2015 Honda Civic. He stole it (the first time) November 23. Police recovered it but didn't know it was Aaron who took it ... until he took it again 2 weeks later.

46-year-old Jason Smith of Woodsfield, Ohio (absentmindedly?) dropped a baggie of meth into a bank's drive-thru cannister. The teller inside called police and it didn't get any better for Jason.

35-year-old Corey Johnson had left his Jeep in short-term parking at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. When it was time to leave, he didn't have the money to pay the fee. He was hoping a bomb threat (or two) would cause enough trouble and he'd be able to leave. Oh, there was trouble all right.

A 32-year-old Aukland man was arrested in a jewelry store after swallowing a Fabergé Egg pendant worth around $20,000. Police say "the suspect is in custody and being medically monitored while authorities wait to recover the piece." That's gross   

A Tesla dealership in St. Petersburg, FL is less trusting after 26-year-old Richel Valdivia took a Cybertruck for a spin. He didn't bring it back. They located it at his home two days later, but the damage had been done. 

Whoever stole a trail cam near Vicksburg, MS didn't realize they should turn the darn thing OFF before committing other crimes in full-view of that camera. It transmitted 2 days worth of other illegal activities until police had enough evidence to raid the home. It was easy to find since the camera also had GPS.

The 55-year-old driver of a school bus in Maple Lake, MN blamed his 0.082 breathalyzer result on NyQuil. Yes, this happened on a school day. One of the students noticed the smell of alcohol and set the ball in motion. 

41-year-old Anthony Day was spotted strolling, naked, in Lakeland, FL. He told police it was a stunt, a TikTok challenge. That excuse maybe would've worked had Anthony had a phone with him.

62-year-old John Turner was already having a bad day. It got worse when someone cut him off in traffic and John went OFF. He ended up on the hood of the other guy's car and was driven directly to the local police station. A dash cam caught all the action.

Sabah Bonilla was arrested in Rockford, Illinois when cops pulled him over after getting complaints of someone hanging out a car window and waving a gun. Bonilla told police he "thought women would find it sexy." 

The first-class JetBlue passenger was not identified, but 207 passengers and crew on the flight from Boston to Tampa would LOVE to have a talk with them after their already delayed flight had to return to Boston.

James Howard was using an empty Budweiser can to "answer nature's call" while driving his Chevy Suburban in Missoula, Montana. It didn't go well. He got distracted and rear-ended another vehicle. 

The problem with thinking on your feet is, sometimes, you don't think things all the way through. Like the husband in Russia who didn't want to go shopping with his wife so he made up a story about his car being stolen.  

21-year-old Yazmin Erazo really wanted to get to Little Caesars before they closed last Thursday night. It doesn't sound like she got there in time because police stopped her for going 107 mph in a 55. 

After leasing a new vehicle, a salesperson at Fette Kia in Clifton, NJ offered to return Laura Halen's Jeep Wrangler to the dealership she leased it from. Instead he kept it, drove in it, and apparently was living in it when police found him.    

There are certain things you should share with your landlord when you move out; anything broken, any plumbing issues, any snakes that escaped. Usual stuff. Nicole Jones had been living in her new place for a MONTH when she stumbled across the previous tenant's ball python coiled up on the kitchen floor in the middle of the night.

Jimmie Glover might be able to predict the future. His costume this Halloween was a "locked up" inmate. That's what he was wearing when cops pulled him over for a DUI. 

Jauan Mason (kind of) robbed a bank in Alliance, Ohio. All they gave him were singles, so the bag the teller handed him only had about $400 in it. When cops caught up with Jauan, he asked them to deposit the cash into his jail commissary account. 

Today's Dum Dum is 47-year-old Rebecca Santa. All we're saying is this ... if your name is Santa, don't do anything dumb right before Christmas, like drive drunk with a child in the car.

A 28-year-old man in Germany fell out a pub window around 11:00 in the evening and landed in the yard of a neighboring butcher shop. He had to call for help due to his injuries but somehow managed to help himself to some sausages inside the shop.

Officer Matthew Jackson of the Detroit Police Department appeared via Zoom as part of a reckless driving and public intoxication case. Why he wasn't wearing pants is anyone's guess but there he was, way too far from the camera, so everyone saw his "legal briefs." 

31-year-old Aaron Thompson took out some frustration on the pumpkins outside a Target in Largo, FL. It was the middle of the night, but security cameras caught the carnage as Aaron destroyed 80 pumpkins worth around $500.  

A man in Brazil claimed he was carjacked, stuffed in the trunk of his Porsche 911 Carrera, driven to a remote location, and left inside while his car was set on fire. The only camera for miles, set up by a rural farmer, caught the man setting his own car ablaze for the insurance.

50-year-old Cory Nickerson was caught on surveillance cameras sneaking his way into the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office and allegedly assaulting two dispatchers. What really stood out was Cory's "attire". He was wearing a hat ... and a Speedo. This was in New Hampshire?
