In the very first episode of DF101, Mel is joined by good friend Blind Mike from the Sydney pop-punk band The Oh Yeahs. As a gigging musician, Mike has no shortage of stories from pubs, clubs, and venues that fail to recognise his blindness, mistaking it for drunkenness or flat out refusing to believe him.
