• How it started:

• PIRTEK started in Australia back in the 80's to service large mining equipment and prevent down time as a result of leaking hydraulic hoses

• It grew from there in to a franchise model, where it began in the United States in 1998.

• PIRTEK entered the Atlanta market in 2004 to fill an under-served industry need: expert hose service with speed and accuracy.

• I purchased the business from the previous owner in 2020; since then, we've expanded with two new store openings, doubling our overall size.

• There are three other owners in the Atlanta market, and we all work together to take care of our customers.

• While a franchisee, we're unique in that we're independent local business owners with the support of a global franchisor. That said, we stay hyper-focused on the local area in which we serve because we know that what we do has a direct impact on our local communities. We support, and are involved with, many local organizations to better connect our customers with opportunities to grow.

• Who are we and what do we do?

• PIRTEK is the market leader in hydraulic and industrial hose service.

• We service construction equipment, heavy duty trucks, industrial equipment, etc. Any hose application for mobile and industrial equipment usually requires our service.

• We essentially "rescue" our customers when their machines spring a leak. We're kind of like "machine ER doctors" that stop the bleeding and get machines back up and running quickly.

• Why are we the leader, and what separates us from our competition?

• Mobile service:

• We provide one hour ETA; 24 hours a day, seven days a week (holidays included)

• Our vans are fully stocked so we can provide repairs in one stop.

• Our technicians will stop at nothing to fix a leak; we go the extra mile to access, remove and replace leaking hoses so that customers get back up and running quickly.

• With a fleet of nearly 30 mobile work vans, we provide can fast and efficient mobile hose service throughout North Georgia and Macon

• Shop service:

• We have seven stores / shops located in the Atlanta area (and growing!); they are located in:

• Alpharetta, Cartersville, Gainesville, Lawrenceville, Marietta, Norcross (just celebrated our 20th anniversary!), and Red Oak (airport area).

• Shops are fully stocked, and they custom-fabricate all types of hoses. We can usually get a customer in and out of the shop with the exact hose they want (at the right price) in about 15 minutes.

• We also support the automotive industry with the ability to service air conditioning lines, power steering lines, transmission lines, brake hoses, and more.
