This week, Abuelita meets Benite who wasn’t allowed to date until she was 18, and says she “had a lot of catching up to do”. Benite was raised catholic in an immigrant family and, “being queer was not an option” Now, Benite accepts all parts of herself and all the types of people she is attracted to, including himbos and “nerds who can hang”. She is excited to try out dating intentionally and being explorative. On this episode, Benite is offered a poo-poo platter of excellent romantic contenders. What will Abuelita have to say about the possible options; a family man who is a hopeful actor in LA, a biker with luscious thighs, or a comedian who loves love. The contestants play a game of “Wiki-compliments” in honor of the wikipedia scholar main dater and “Planet Love”, with some outer space romantic scenarios to test the contestants. Despite Benite explicitly saying she's only trying to date to try new things, Abuelita is still set on trying to find Benite’s one true love; who will be lovelorn in the end, Benite… or Abuelita?

Lilianae.
So, yes, me, Vic, what you got.
Going on on that purse because it's looking mighty foul today.
Well, it's a new perse so I have new things. Oh I have lots of money.
Okay, god, I'm not.
Mint Kleenex, lipstick cards and a few condoms.
You got condoms in there?
Oh my god, I need to be prepared to I believe in the power of manifesting.
I know you do. I know you do.
Maybe our main dater has a daddy and uncle or someone.
We'll check, We'll check, We'll check. Welcome listeners. This is Date My Awalita first, where our incredible Ahlita Billiana plays matchmaker for one very fortunate main Data. She'll meet three promising contestants before sending one of them off on a one on one date with our may I am your host Vico or this alongside the very powerful a.
Vio. I am manifesting something else too?
Oh yeah, what is it? Oh?
We have a sweetheart of a main data.
Yes, you made that have been our main data. This week is Beneath. Beneath is a self proclaimed Wikipedia scholar who is always hungry for a pop culture facts. This is very interesting.
Do you think she has looked up the Secret to Love on Wikipedia.
Oh, well.
On Wikipedia, We'll have to ask her. Benit is an engineer and she is interested in dating a nerd that can hang or a himbo. Beneath grew up in your cal and then a big Rwandan and Congoonese family, and her parents originally came to the US for asylum. Benit needs to date someone who will be patient about being introduced to her family. Noted. She wants someone who has their heart on their sleep and will try new things with her.
Oh, new things are marvelous to enjoy with someone you care about.
LETZ bring in Benny many dumn In.
Hello, thanks for having me.
Oh my gosh, we are so glad to have you here on Dad my hour lead that first? Tell us about yourself? What should hour lead that? And I know about you?
Yeah, So I've just been recently back in the LA area. I was living with my ex in San Diego. Grew up in like rewanting Conglise family, as Vica mentioned, and very Catholic, very sheltered Catholic school from ky to eight all girls high school, and so the change from like one thousand girls to like forty thousand people at UCLA. It was a very big culture shock, I think, and I wasn't allowed.
Date till I was eighteen, so I had.
A lot of passing up to do cool my goodness, and.
So I think I just had not the best experiences. So I'm hoping that I will eat that and we COO can help me out today.
Absolutely. So you said your last relationship was last December.
Okay, we need to know what happened.
It was my first relationship, it was his second. When we first started dating, like COVID, obviously, like I think, we all were not in a great place, and I was not in a great place either, back up in Norcow with my parents, and like we definitely put heads a lot of the times, and so he was really like a good support.
In that time.
But then once I like got better and like less depressed and things like that, my personality started coming.
Out more and that didn't gell as well.
I would say that he enjoyed having someone to take care of and then once I didn't necessarily need that, then things started falling to the wayside. And then long story short, there was a week where we had like four or five arguments and it ended with hatshit being left on the floor for at least seven hours, and that's when I was like, okay, we're.
I'm so glad you're laughing about it.
It's enough time has passed since then that I'm like, okay, Like it's funny that that's the thing.
That made me realize maybe I'm in the wrong.
Situation instead of everything else before them. Like my friends have definitely given me a lot of flack about that, but you know, we're.
Working on it.
Well, it was also your first relationship, like long term as well. Have you been able to see anybody since then or will this be your first time maybe meeting somebody outside of that little bit, you know.
Like, so I got back on hinge once I was back here in LA and like I've gone online like some dates and stuff like that. But again, I'm just sort of trying to suss out like what I want because like it's like I didn't really date in like college. It was mainly just you know, cookup culture. Nobody wants to put labels on anything, like, so I.
Was like, let me just go with the flow, you know, And like, so I didn't.
I never really got the chance to be like taken out on like a date and things like that until I started dating him, and even then it was mainly me sort of begging to be taken out.
Towards the end.
Was see your age, I was he older my age?
Basically, yeah, got it.
That's very good. Tell us a little thing about your family. It seems like, for better or for worse, you're still very close with them.
Yeah. I'm like super close with my siblings. I talked to my sister.
I text or at least every other day, if not every day, and then we make sure to FaceTime at least a couple of times a month.
Me and my brother mostly send means back and forth.
He's very much not interested and about my relationship things versus my sister.
He's just like you deal with it. I don't care.
I'm like, okay, or sounds good, But me and my cousin's very very close. Like I have one cousin that I FaceTime. I would say literally every day and then we read talking back and forth. So she's like essentially my little sister.
Oh I love that. And you've been on a journey with them about your queerness, right, if you don't mind, would you like to share how that's been Like.
I'll tell you this story.
I was like three or four and it's like a family friend that I had, and we were watching this like TV show or like a movie. I can't remember exactly how it happened. We saw something and then I was like, maybe we should kiss, just to see what it's like. And then we did and she was like that was weird, and I was like, oh, yeah, that was very weird.
I did not like that either at all.
Liar pants on fine.
Exactly, And so that happened, and so, like I I've always had that in the back of my mind. But again, like you know, being race Catholic in an immigrant family, like that's being queer is not really an option.
You know, we go they definitely don't.
Well yeah right.
I was like, I've raised Catholic as well. Puerto Rican. Definitely not an option.
Then then I was like wait, what Yeah, but I'm curious, even though you're in a Catholic school, there's gotta be other people who feel the same way as you do. So do you come to know them? Do you do you see them amongst the crowd?
Yeah, So that's the thing.
It's like, there were definitely some people that were out at my high school, but they were not very accepted for it, I would say. And I think even like at that point, I still hadn't really accepted that I was queer too, you know, and so it's just sort of like it was an open secret, I would say, you know what I mean, like we're.
Just not gonna talk about it.
But like there were like a lot of like petitions and stuff like that so that girls could take girls to dances and things like that, and like we got like hundreds of signatures, but it just never really worked.
Once I graduated from high school.
Came down to LA, I was like meeting more queer people that were open about it. And I remember I met this girl at like an eighteen plus and like we ended up dancing and we ended up making out at the end of the night, and I was like, oh my god, I'm bisexual, And like I went on like Facebook and I was like messaging my siblings. I was like, oh my god, this is like making so much sense, and they're.
Like, girl, we new.
But then specifically, did your ex know about it? Yes?
He did.
Yeah.
So once I came out at like nineteen twenty, I've been pretty open about it, but I definitely haven't had. I feel like a lot of my experiences like talking to guys about that haven't been that great. He was fine with it, he was okay. Before him, it would be like immediately like, oh, you're by, let's.
Have a threesome.
Like that's not what I'm looking for right now, Like that could be fun.
What kind of person do you want to date?
The important thing for me is that it's somebody who axects me for who I am, someone that's willing to grow with me and like help me learn more.
I can help them learn.
More, and like, I don't know, I love having like random deep conversations with people sometimes, and like someone that can do that and hang with that is awesome.
Are you down for non monogamy as well?
So explore again. It's like the race cast.
I think I knew intellectually that that was an option. Emotionally I didn't realize that was an option for me. Now way more open to it, and I think like I would be willing to explore that with the right person.
Of course, of course, of course, emphasis on dating intentionally, with the intention of dating and trying new things and being explorative and being with people that are down to champing you and that exploration, but no serious relationship.
If it happens, I'm not mad at it, but it's not what I'm searching for right now.
You're so cute. If it helpens, I'm not mad.
I like that, No, for sure. Well, thank you so much, Benite. We're so very excited to meet these contestants.
Oh yeah, let's.
Find you a sweetie, Let's find you a himbo. Yes, fantastic. Well, let's go ahead and bring in the condescence. We'll be your right back. Welcome back today, Malani the first when as whens. Let's start with Indra. Indra grew up in Central Jersey and during her master thesis, she spent a lot of time talking to people about conspiracy theories.
Syndra, well, we're gonna come back to this and there's something I need to share.
Oh Willie conspiracies? Oh well, maybe a spinoff episode. Indra has been trying out a lot of intricate recipes for the co op she lives in, including brioche French toast with lemon curd, oh dang, and Karen this.
Okay, I'm agree, this sounds delicious. Her type is someone who is academic and loves storytellers. Indra bikes a lot, and all that biking has a payoff. She is constantly being complimented on her legs by potential crushes. Hi Indra, Hello, that's so much information about me.
I know where you've got it, and it's still it feels so it's still so scandalous.
We love, we.
Love, we love. Next up, we have Alan. Allen moved to La to pursue acting, and his besties and his parents are super proud of him. If he really wants to do something, he will take a risk.
Well, I wonder if this carries over into your dating.
Life, Allan, I sure hope. So when Alan is in a relationship, he likes to balance trying new things with a little Netflix night. He is attracted to open minded people that are kind, fun to talk to, and easy to be around. Alan enjoys some jams from the likes of Usher, James Blake, Diana Ross, and may admit to enjoying Drake as well. Hi Ellen, You're this and last, but certainly not least. Emma. Emma loves to talk about anything Midwest specific, being a Maxinista, the roads, needing to be repaved roundabouts. The list goes on, Emma recently got out of a situationship that is a new word that and says their type is anyone who looks overwhelmingly gay. Same they know that timing is everything and are attracted to banter first and then the attraction that follows. Their green flags are someone who has a strong connection with their family or chosen family, and good communicators. Hello, Emma, Hi, nice.
To meet you all. I'm ready to get Mouffler on.
Oh is happening? Is happening?
Well? Contestants, welcome, Welcome to all of you, you beautiful souls. It is so lovely to meet you. And let's open up our hearts and minds and let's see what happens here.
Yes, we'll do that with our first game, Planet Love. So here's the thing. Our main dater loves to think about life on other planets, but she's got a hint for all the rest of us. Maybe life on other planets isn't going to look particularly like a human or even a green elongated head type alien. We are used to seeing movies, and we should all redirect our energy to something a little smaller, a little more bacteria like in this game Planet Love, we are going to ask you to imagine a scenario where you are in outer space with your boo and you are racing to complete a certain mission. Maybe you need to be looking for some of those little live bacteria. So we're going to give you specific situations and you will tell us how you would respond. So, for example, Leanna, you and your boo are in the spaceship on your mission and things are going well. You are eating your zero gravity ice cream, But as soon as you make it to Planet Love, your sweetie is hyper focused on finding other life. Wait, you want some attention too, So how do you ask you're sweetie for a little loving while they're so busy looking for some alien life forms?
Isn't it obvious? I start licking his ice cream. I'm gonna use my best linking technique. Oh goodness, well for ice cream.
Oh of course, absolutely for ice cream. Well, now you know, Emma, how do you bid for your booze distracted affection?
Well, I'm gonna be looking dear as hell in my space suit. So yes, that like futuristic cyberpunk look is gonna be. I'm already gonna be looking fly as helme.
Oh my god, Indra, how are you going to bid for your booze affection?
By showing interest in what the person is doing, you can sometimes sort of redirect their attention, which is like, it sounds so duplicitous, like I'm gonna pretend like I want to hear what you're doing, and so I can gradually bring myself into your line of sight. But I think it's a really gentle and successful way to do that. As a long time sort of distracted person.
Love it fantastic.
So, Ellen, is your sweety going to notice you in outer space? What's gonna happen? Oh?
Yeah, I mean I'm thinking I just turn on you know, alien FM, some music user, you know what I'm saying, Put something on that's that's her kind of vibe. Be like, let's go together, baby.
This is amazing. Oh my god. Okay, So here's the next scenario. You are helping your boo sample some interesting specimens you found on a bright purple planet. But oh no, she starts giving you feedback on your pipe heading skills and it really RUMs you the wrong way. You are in full blown conflict. By the time you're back to the spaceship. How do you reconnect zero gravity dance party, some floating rose pet in the ship. Alan, start us off. How do you and your sweetie reconnect after that pipe heading accident? I'm going to say something out of pocket for it.
That does every time, Oh, I mean, the.
Best way to get rid of some tension. You know, there's some sexual tension, you know, every time frustration happens, You're going bust went out real quick.
Here he is doing it.
No, that's a good one. Absolutely, bust went off here here, Andrew, how do you reconnect?
Yeah?
You know, I'm struggling to follow Alan's answer. You know, in labs you're not supposed to pipette by mouth, but there are other things you can do by mouth that would help, you.
Know, not it. Okay, I'm learning a lot on this episode, So.
I'm going to say a long space walk, just you know, get out there and see the stars, like, let things cool off, talk about it if you want to talk about it, or just let it kind.
Of pass and then get to the end of the planet and throw them.
Off that but just you know, I want you to It's my second choice.
Emma, how do you reconnect?
We're chatting it out first. I think knowing myself. I'm taking notes. I'm like, okay, you didn't like my pipe heating, Like, what are we doing.
Different next time?
Baby, I'm gonna be deceptive to your feedback.
Oh my gosh.
And then once once we get on the same page again, that bust in one out, that's gonna be even better.
Yes, absolutely, Because the pipe itting skills are a metaphors to many things in life. You gotta make sure you got those pipeing skills. Here's the next one. So you found some outer space life, and even though your booth thought it would be a small planned or a bacteria type of life, it's a full blown little green guy with needs and a lot to share. And it starts calling you uncle or auntie or hueye or short form uncle human. It's getting on your nerves, this little, full blown little green guy. But you're sweetie loves that you have a nickname. So do you stick with the pet name or do you tell off the little green guy? My goodness, Indra, what are your thoughts?
I can't imagine not wanting this little green alien to be my son.
She's like, don't call me auntie. I'm your mother now.
I am your mother now. That's something that I'm giving, you know, I'm mothering or whatever.
I love that.
Yeah, you know, I think that obviously requires a lot of communication, but you know, it's just the two of us out here alone. If we're gonna start a family with a green alien, like, greater things have happened.
Well, I know you guys are dying to know this. But my favorite nickname, the one that I've been called many a times, big titty Lily. Do I need to stand so you guys can have proof of that true?
Oh my goodness, you're gonna have.
To come see one of my comedy shows. That's where I am big titty Lily.
Oh my goodness. Uh yeah, maybe the aliens will have to catch on to that.
Oh, let's see what Alan has to say.
So, like, I feel like it's a mutual relationship where it's like it wants to be taken care of, but also it can help me adapt to being somewhere foreign, somewhere new. So I would take it in. I'll let it call whatever name you want, Like, I'm not really that sensitive, so call me uncle, call me daddy.
So why not?
Oh my gosh, amazing, Emma, what's your feeling on the nickname.
I don't even know what would offend me. That little alien can call me little Rascal. You can call me Ankle.
Ankle and uncle yes onnkey as well.
I've heard too, I do kind of hate Ankie for whatever reason.
Noted. Okay, that one's off the plate.
Yes, but everyone's got something to offer, even this little freaky green guy.
Well, I would definitely want to go into space with all of you, honestly, not.
Me, No, because no, because they're all ready to go to another planet. And just say, at this age, I'm keeping my feet on the ground.
Ride here.
I'll be watching you guys taking that trip.
Yeah, it's true, Leliana, you are definitely a woman of this planet. Oh indeed, indeed, so before Alialita decides who will not be moving on under the competition, we'd like to know how sweet and kind you could be with our main dater. In this game we call Wiki compliment. Each of you will be dishing out compliments based off of a Wikipedia article chosen at random. Let's see. Okay, here there we go. The Great Barrier Reef is the world's life largest coral reef system, located off the coast of Queensland. Australia. The Great Barrier Reef can be seen from outer space. A Alita, how would you compliment the Great Barrier reef?
You're so big and strong, and I love how even our alien neighbors avis on you. Your beauty must be shared across the universe because that beauty alone can change lives. And also I love an Aussi accent. I don't know how to do it.
No, No, that's all as far as I can get.
Okay, now let me get this started. Emily and Paris is an American romantic comedy drama. The series starts Lily Collins as aspiring marketing executive Emily Cooper, an American who moves to Paris to provide an American point of view to a French marketing firm in Paris. She tries to overcome challenges in her work, love life, and friendships. We ween saying like we we we relyly, who's gonna take this?
Take it away from my god? Okay, so emma take it away. How do you come amend this Wikipedia article?
Oh? Hold, Emily, you are the bag of my eye.
That's great.
Oh my god, Ellen, how do you come amend this random article?
How do you say, passing French. Uh, yeah, you're like, I don't.
Know, pass the bagette, Indre, How do you compliment this article?
Emily? Everybody I know was talking about you like two years ago, and you represent this like unattainable ideal for a kind of life that like everybody wants to live when they're in their twenties. And I would love to just sit down and binge you incredible.
Is the academic of the group. Oh my gosh, Well, I have another article. The Golden Fleece. This is the fleece of the Golden Wold wing it ram Chrysomolus that rescue to God and bought him to Colchis where another God then sacrifice it to Zeus. I know that one. The fleece is a symbol of authority in kingship. Indra, you take this one first. How would you compliment the Golden fleece?
The golden fleece, all the things that Jason did to find you. I would do, you know twice over, That's how much I care. And please just promise that when I take you home, you're not gonna let my wife kill me. Here here, just what happens to Jason after he comes home in his wife Medea is rightfully stricken with anger and grief and destroys him. I've actually lost I've lost the Roman plot here. I'm just thinking about sort of being murdered by a beautiful Greek woman, a.
Right like not wanting to be murdered, just like here, let me love you, but like that's not get murdered. It sounds lovely, right yeah, jealousy, you know, lovely. I love that you also like knew more names from this story. So here here, Emma, how do you come with the fleece?
Well, a beautiful Greek woman can murder me.
Anytime, amazing, Ellen, how do you compliment the golden fleece?
I just want to wrap up in it. I'm from the East Coast and it's coldest fun over here, so let me wrapping in hell? Did they come through? Come cuddle with me?
Amazing? Lovely? Okay, last one, and I actually don't need Wikipedia for this one. Compliment will ead that Liliana montg have at it, Alan, take it away.
First, I'm coming to your stand up to go see your titties.
Oh, thank you, my love you.
Emma. What's your coming up?
It is so clear you have the biggest heart and the biggest chest.
Yes, oh my goodness, here here, Indra, what's your coming up?
Yeah?
I have to go for the titty's hat trick here, Lilliana. You are as right and entertaining as you are, just shockingly forthright and it's hard to see over zoom, but I'm sure your tits are great.
Well, thank you all for participating in our get to know you games. Unfortunately, a wii that we'll have to ask one of the three of you to leave is only two will be moving on to compete for the chance to date our main dater. So a wile that who will not be moving on?
Well, and it's not because you are not an amazing human being. But at the end of the show, we have to think about our main data and who are the two people that will move forward in order to find out a little bit more about you, to get you together with the main data and pick one of you. So today, though you are lovely, amazed and intelligent and good looking, we must say goodbye to Alan.
Alan, thank you so so so much, my goodness, your energy, your smile, you are a delight.
Thank you, thank you.
Will be your right back. Welcome back today Maia wanly the first. Well, congratulations to our final two contestants. We'd like now to give you an opportunity to have a cafe. Sito will lead that so she can get to know all of your qualities and your quirks and everything. So are you ready a Walida?
Oh sorry, Vico, I was on my phone. I've fallen down the wiki rabbit hole.
Oh yeah, it's a big thing, I know, but it's time for some good old cafeos. Okay, let's start with Emma. All right, Emma, I'm gonna hand you over to a Walida for a little cafe. Take it away.
How are you, my love?
Oh I'm so good, Yes you are.
You're so beautiful. So tell me what it is that you are looking for in a relationship.
I'm looking for romance.
I love love and I love.
When that connection happens and there's just the chemistry there.
It's like, truly such a beautiful thing.
Are you into monogamy or non monogamy?
Yeah, monogamy it's more my thing.
Okay, what if the person is into non monoga me? Are you willing to work on that and keep it to see if you can down the road have a steady relationship.
I would be open to it for sure.
Okay, So tell me what it is that are your red flags and a relationship.
Ooh, the games.
I don't do games.
Any weird distancing things or like not saying what you mean is a huge, huge red flag for me and one of my big past relationships, they blocked me out of nowhere and it like scarred me in.
A big way.
And I didn't even know there was an issue.
How long ago was that?
That was a few years ago?
Now, oh okay, did you ever hear from that person again?
Yes? They called me like a year later, like a drunk call, and I was like, okay, okay, cool. So you're clearly not growing and learning and working on yourself.
Oh that makes me mad. Next time, have them call me, I believe, go fight them. Okay, send me their address. So when was their last relationship?
My situationship was a couple of months ago.
Okay. So if the person that you are going to date, let's say, at the end of this show, was actually listening to you, how would you present yourself to them?
I asked them a million questions. I think that like getting to know you process is so beautiful in relationships, and I've often found that, like in the hinge bumble sphere, that I go on these dates and there's not like questions asked. It's so basic, but so many people don't know how to ask personal questions about their lives. Mm hmmm.
So what are the red flags that you don't want to see from your exes working on your new relationship?
Emotional vulnerability and emotional availability are huge for me, saying what you mean, telling me how you feel, open communication.
Because that is how you are.
Yeah, I love that.
Thank you for your beautiful answers. You're such an amazing young person. You really are beautiful. Thank you.
Emma. All right, Indra, I'm gonna go ahead and hand you over for a little guffish either, gonna waita you know way li Limma, how.
Are you, my love?
I'm doing very well. Thank you.
Now we've heard from you that you love connection and communication, that you're a big flirred. Are you a jealous person?
I'm not.
I will need to tell you the truth. For the past like six months, I've had multiple sweethearts for the first time in my life, and I have been so shocked with how little jealousy I've felt. Everybody that I see is such good communicators, and it makes it so easy to avoid those feelings or to deal with them when they show up that I actually I used to be and I am not any more, and that is so shocking.
What do you I think is the difference what happened there?
I think it just comes with practice. Like a lot of these people have been doing that kind of arrangement for years and years, and you just develop a sort of proficiency with like managing those emotions. Whether whereas if you're like monogamous, maybe you don't have to deal with it as much because there's that expectation that you'll right, you'll actually be jealous, and that's like part of the arrangement.
You know, you have an amazing heart. Now, are you willing to change down the road and say that you go into a relationship that is non monogamous, but down the road it changes, you are open to that?
Yeah?
I mean, I think openness to change has been a big part of my life for a little while now, And every time I embrace some new change that shows up, it winds up being so much more exciting than I could have imagined. And so I think I don't want to say I'm down for absolutely anything. I don't want to open that door, but I think most things I'm willing to entertain.
Okay, what are you looking for specifically in the person that you want to start seeing.
I like people who are sort of attentive and multifaceted, multi talented. You know, you want a person with an interesting life. But I think that the difference between a person with an interesting life and somebody with a boring life is just that somebody knows how to talk about it, how to tell stories about it, and somebody does not. Like any person you meet on the street has interesting stories, they just might not know it, you know. And so that kind of person.
So if the person that is our main dat was sitting next to me and you were just selling yourself, what would you tell them?
I would say, it seems like you have maybe more than a passing interest in science, and that you think a lot about what life would look like on other worlds. I would love to sit down and trade ideas because I have also been thinking about that, and I want to.
Know, you know what. I'm not easily impressed, but you impress me. You impress me with your mind, your heart, and I'm very grateful for your beautiful answers. Thank you for taking the time really quickly.
I need to take myself down a peg here, because one thing people hate is when you're wrong on the internet. I think that Medea didn't kill Jason. I think she killed her children. I think it's a different Greek wife and a different Greek hero that killed him. I read this book eight years ago, but I just know that, like, if you're a woman and wrong on the internet, they're never going to let you live it down.
So to our listeners, please make sure you make a note of their correction. Thank you very much.
Thank you, Indra, My goodness, that was amazing. Thank you both. You're both incredible, incredible people.
What do you think should we just be really open and tell them what's going on?
I think we should. Yes, yes, yes, So look.
At those beautiful faces wondering what are we talking about.
I'm nervous. You thought that you were just here with me and I what eat that? But no, no, no, no, our main dater actually has been here listening since the absolute beginning. Alita, you know, might have an idea of who she likes for our main dater, but we'll see if we all have a unanimous decision. So to both of you muchisi, ma graciasos. We're gonna ask you for a quick exit and we'll bring back our main contestant. So Awlita, I have a feeling they already know what you're gonna choose.
Not only because she is smart intelligence you know about life, about books or whatever it is, but the way that they come across, with their kindness and their beautiful heart and that big smile that didn't drop for one second throughout the entire show. And I know our listeners don't get to see these beautiful people, but we get to see them. And I'm gonna tell you right now, I'm crying. I'm crying because these people really got to meet today. I love people who are smart and cool. Look forward to meeting new people and making this world a better place to be, which is something that we all need to do.
Absolutely absolutely, I think we're pretty unanimous in here, but we'll have a quick check with the needs. Do you want to come in and see what are your thoughts?
Yeah?
So I really liked them both a lot, But I will say the correction on the Wikipedia thing. I was like, exactly. I do the exact same thing, and my family hates it because I'll say something that I'm like, wait, I'm not sure, let me double check, and they're like, put the phone down. I'm like, no, I need to know what the double check. So that really, like that would have got to me a lot. But I think I could definitely learn from both Emma and Indra a lot, you know, because I think like Emma, like there as we've been saying, Oh, like I know I'd have a lot of fun, you know, but Andre also I feel like I would have those deeper conversations with which I feel like would be really really cool. Emma fits the more manic pixie they them thing that I was going for. Then Indur goes for the nerd that can hang. So like, I don't know how we're just going to make her decision because I can't.
I don't know y'all what you will be accepting of whichever. Yeah, the decision is, of course, Yes, they are both beautiful and smart, and I think either one of them would be a compliment to you.
Well, then let's go ahead and bring in our contestants and announced hello, hello, hello, hello. Well this was this was a juicy one, a juicy one. So we're very excited to share the verdict. So Ailita, do you want to take it away?
When you meet human beings who are as amazing and joyful and talented and kind as you are, it's very difficult to make such a decision. Now, of course, we have to think about our main day. And there's one thing that Awilita learned today that is very important to bring out, and that is dating with intention. And because of that, I think that our main data would be very happy with our decision. And our decision is that you both go out with our main data.
Us that at some point I get to date too.
Well.
Listen, listen to this, listen to this. Okay, we are giving you the forum exactly. We have seen who you are and if our main data is open to it, and you all are, you as adults will make your own decisions from now forward.
And with that said, benit come in.
Nice meeting everybody.
I like, I even was telling Belita because I was like, I don't know how y'all are going to decide, because I can't decide.
So now I don't have to decide. That's so exciting. Thank you, guys so much for being open to this process.
I can tell that I can learn so much from both of you, and I cannot wait.
I'm mystatic.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, so cute.
What do you all think? Come on, say something, Emma, Oh my.
Gosh, well I already love your energy, so I just get great vibes from you both, honestly, so.
Honestly, Indra first impressions.
Yes, well sure, I mean you're sort of presented with what sounds like a sort of challenging choice and instead you just kind of said yes, sure, like, which is I think just the perfect kind of attitude to have for things like this. And I love your jacket as well.
Yes, yes, yes, amazing. Now we're going to send our contestants away for a little virtual date.
I just want to say, keep your mind and your heart's open, be true to each other, it be friends, and see where it all goes.
Well, Hi, guys, Hello the producer that was in the corner. If you guys saw that on zoom, that was me this entire time.
I love that this is way better than Hinge.
So yeah, I mean, regardless of whatever happens from here on out, we should start a bar trivia team.
I love it. I've been wanting to do that so bad. I actually okay, first of all, let's go where are you guys, just so we can like, because I'm in La.
Are you guys in La too?
I'm in La?
Yeah you know, I mean I'm in Hormona. But like whatever, we don't.
That's fine, that's fine. I have a chap card will make it work. Yeah me too.
Yeah, yes, okay, good?
Yeah, because I love bar trivia, I love all that type of stuff. Like I just I really injured too. Let me alsto mention.
You remind me a lot of one of my friends that I met off of lex because we exchanged like cat supplies, probably like around like July of last year as I was going through the breakup, and you were talking about like your academia and stuff like that, and like, she reminds me so much of my friends Dula from Liberal Arts.
Lesbians are all pretty much the same.
Yeah.
So were those Wikipedia articles truly random or were you? Like I love marine biology and Emily in Paris?
No, they were truly random.
Yeah, I mean, I just they weren't truly random because you read hit and it's like it's like some like Chinese politician with like two sentences.
Or like yeah yeah yeah, so like they like they did.
I didn't come up with the ideas, but I did talk at length about how we're looking for life and in other places that are at the wrong time.
Yeah, so I wanted to talk.
I want to talk to you about brain planet, which is a planet whose atmosphere shoots electrical signals like a brain. Like that's like, yes, I can't stop imagining it. What do you do?
What?
What is your story?
I'm I'm in film and I write sketch comedy.
Nice good, Okay, because I was gonna say I was laughing at essentially once you started to do.
What the fuck is going on? But I love it.
This has been awesome, Like I think I was, like I was nervous about it this morning.
I was like running around trying to like set things up.
But like, this has been amazing, and you two are such a big part of that. I'm so happy they get that, at least your new friends, maybe more we'll see.
Yes, thank you for taking a chance and having such exciting standards.
You know, they took a while, They took a while to get here, but you know, we're working on it.
I understand.
Also, Emma, you're talking about the red flags, about the like people not being honest about what they mean.
Yeah, did that all the time.
And I'm like, never tell me what you think I want to hear.
Don't do that, yeah, because then it's like I'm gonna take that and then you're gonna be like, well that's not what I meant.
And I'm like, well that's what you told me, so what do.
That?
What you're telling me is true?
Such like it's like a fear of rejection thing. It's like, oh, You're gonna not want me anymore if I'm like at all myself, you know, if I have.
And I'm like, you know, like the point of the relationship is to be.
I love your niece. Yeah, I want to fulfill them.
Well wow, wow wow. I hope those sweeties hit it off. Find us back here next week as Lena and I make some more matches.
