Daniel Cormier IS BACK, this time after Alex Pereira mentioned DC's name in an interview this week, claiming people like Daniel and others with big followings were the people who pushed the Josh Hokit and Ciryl Gane heavyweight title fight and ultimately why he isn't getting his shot right now. DC responds to Alex Pereira's comments, and reiterates he was NEVER TOLD by the UFC to promote that fight and doubles down saying that Hokit-Gane is the fight to make. Cormier also says Pereira's comments about him "not being champion" after beating Gane are untrue and have to be a misunderstanding, because he never said he wouldn't be champion. DC said beating Gane doesn't make Pereira the UFC GOAT, but it would absolutely make him champion since he'd have the belt. #Volume
