A respected policeman has died after an incident at Ermington Police Station in Sydney’s west. 

A chief inspector with NSW Police was allegedly bashed with a bike seat pole when he tried to intervene upon seeing three teen boys abusing people at a western Sydney train station while on his way to work. 

Emails released to parliament have revealed a shortlist of candidates for a plum NSW government trade role.The  August 1 signing deadline that has outraged NRL fans and made powerhouse clubs stronger is set to be scrapped.
