Two University of Mississippi students found dead in separate location, but both have kratom nearby.  Kratom is a tropical evergreen tree, native to Southeast Asia.  It's extract act as a psychoactive substanced. It's effects depending on the dose: at low doses it can act as a stimulant, and at higher doses it can act as a sedative. 

 As it it is not conclusion that kratom was a contributing factor in their deaths, but the investigation continues.  The students were identified as Aidan Hamilton, a freshman from Englewood, Colorado, and Robert Strang, a junior from Atlanta.
