അപകടമല്ല, കൊലപാതകം ; അന്ന് കണിച്ചുകുളങ്ങരയിൽ നടന്നത് | Kanichukulangara Murder

View descriptionShare

July 20, 2005… It was a Wednesday. Everest Chitty company owner Ramesh and his relatives were on their way from Karunagappally to Kochi. They were traveling in a newly purchased maroon Tata Safari. When they reached Kanichukulangara in Alappuzha, a speeding lorry coming from the opposite direction rammed into their vehicle. The Tata Safari was completely destroyed. The impact was so severe that the lorry’s axle broke. Three people inside the Tata Safari died instantly. Among them were Everest Chitty owner Ramesh, his sister Latha, and their driver Shamsudeen.

The news of their tragic death spread quickly across Kerala. But within days, it became clear that what happened in Kanichukulangara was not just an accident, but a meticulously planned murder. How did the truth behind what appeared to be a simple accident come out? Who harbored such deep hatred toward Ramesh that they plotted his brutal killing?

This is the story of the Kanichukulangara Murder Case that shocked Kerala. Welcome to today’s episode of Crime Beat. I’m Seena Antony.
