Two distinct undercover operations, spearheaded by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Task Force, have yielded significant results in combating Fentanyl trafficking, leading to the arrest of eight individuals associated with two prominent Mexican cartels: the Sinaloa and the Jalisco New Generation Transnational Criminal Organizations.
