After 11 months and thousands of kilometres on foot, adventurer Mark Gresser has completed his extraordinary journey across Australia, walking from Steep Point in Western Australia to Cape Byron.

Along the way, he faced extreme weather, isolation and physical challenges, all while raising money and awareness for youth mental health charity Batyr. Mark joins us to reflect on the final stages of the trek, the lessons he's learned, and how the journey has changed his perspective on mental health, community and life on the road.

More than four years after the 2022 floods, housing remains a major issue across the Northern Rivers. Around 100 people gathered in Lismore recently to protest the demolition of flood-affected homes, arguing many could be relocated and reused as public or community housing instead of being sent to landfill.

I spoke with artist and community advocate Antoinette about the campaign, the findings of a recent Auditor-General's report into flood recovery and why residents are calling for a halt to demolitions.
