Byron Bay has joined communities around the world in marking the Global Day for Gaza, with a rally held at Apex Park on Sunday. The event brought people together to show solidarity with Palestinians and call for stronger action from the Australian Government over the ongoing conflict.

Community Newsroom speaks with a representative from Friends of Palestine about the purpose of the rally, the demands being made and what organisers hope to achieve.
