When Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Detective Danny Morales co-founded the non-profit Bleeding Blue in 2022, it was initially to provide financial support to law enforcement families during times of hardship. But its mission soon expanded to address mental health and wellness among his fellow officers. He speaks to Enrique about the toll his work as a homicide detective takes, what he does to maintain his own mental health, what to look for in a therapist, and other resources available to those who may need them.

Her dreams of going to college and becoming a traveling nurse were cut tragically short. Police believed many witnesses saw what happened, but only one came forward with information.
