He then talks about the upcoming Battle of the Bars & Cornhole Tournament, April 17 in the Let'Er Buck Room. Umatilla County Emergency Manager Sage DeLong talks about damage the county sustained from last weekend's flood caused by recent rainfall and snowmelt - he shares what areas were hit the hardest. He also talks about how the recent high-water event affects the long-term drought status declared earlier this month. Additionally, he talks about how the current drought status changes his office's preparation and staffing for the upcoming wildfire season. DeLong also talks about updates to Umatilla County's Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan.
