Mayor John Turner and City Manager Robb Corbett recap last night's Pendleton Development Commission (PDC) and City Council meetings. Starting with the PDC, Turner gives updates on the outstanding building grants. Corbett then talks aobut the DEQ/EPA grants under the Climate Pollution Reduction Grant program, plus the election of incoming chair and vice-chair of the PDC. Next, under the city council agenda, Corbett discusses an amendment to ordinances concerning dog owners leaving their dogs unattended at the city's dog parks. Corbett also talks about funding for a new assistant fire chief position. Turner wraps up the conversation sharing what he's most proud of and what his hope for the city future is as his role as Pendleton mayor comes to an end.

Littlefield also speaks about the toys for the toy drive have started to be delivered. He explains how that works and why it's so important. Next, he talks about this past weekend's Shop with a Cop. Littlefield then explains why drivers should not depend on GPS when trying to avoid closed roads due to inclement weather. He ends the conversation talking about accreditation for various parts within the UCSO.
