On the Monday, June 30 episode of 520 in the Morning, Jeff Teague, DJ Wells, and B Hen react to Ja Morant getting TRADED from the Memphis Grizzlies to the Portland Trail Blazers. Portland now has a guard trio of Ja, Damian Lillard, and Jrue Holiday to go along with Deni Avdija who was an All-Star last year. The guys debate whether the Blazers can start to make noise in the west after they were a play-in team last year, and the guys talk about the Grizzlies going into a full rebuild after losing Jaren Jackson Jr. at the NBA trade deadline, and now Ja at the start of the offseason. The guys then react to the news that Kawhi Leonard’s time with the Los Angeles Clippers may be coming to an end, as well as Jalen Duren’s with the Detroit Pistons as he has been allowed to meet with teams in anticipation of a sign-and-trade. Finally, the guys talk about the latest in the Jaylen Brown saga, as well as the Golden State Warriors plans to pursue LeBron James.
