According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, from 2010 to 2022, opioid-related overdose deaths in Georgia increased by 302%. Naloxone is a lifesaving medication that’s used to reverse opioid overdoses. Andy Gish, director of Georgia Overdose Prevention, discusses an upcoming community naloxone training.
