Richard Chew is joined by comedian and activist Dana Goldberg, who talked about her upbringing in a single-parent household, early stand-up experiences, and highlights of her career, including involvement with organizations like the Human Rights Campaign, Lambda Legal, and Planned Parenthood.

"Over the last 15 years of my career, aside from all the standup and the traveling and the theaters, I've raised over $60 million for the LGBTQ community and for abortion access, reproductive rights, and HIV education and prevention," Goldberg said. She also talked about her role in Olivia Travel, the leading travel company for lesbians and LGBTQ+ women, and her collaboration with Allison Gill on the Daily Beans podcast. 

"The way I can make people laugh, Richard, is if [people] can see themselves somewhere in my material and I can bridge the humanity between the two of us, I can make anybody laugh if they are open to it."
