Chicago Teachers Union President Stacy Davis Gates talks to Richard Chew about the outcome of the presidential election and "the level of vitriol," racism and misogyny that undermine Black female leaders like Vice President Kamala Harris.  "While this is not the type of America that makes me feel great in this moment, I am also encouraged by our ability to be resilient, to be clear-minded, and to continue to anchor our work in our values," Davis Gates told WCPT.  "Donald Trump's values are being anchored, they're being amplified, and they are engaging people. It doesn't mean that we can't do the same thing. Find your people, begin to engage them, organize with them, and then find more people."
