Some of our Esquimalt neighbours on Fernhill Road are hosting a block party and benefit concert for the DDX3X Foundation on Saturday, which funds gene-therapy research for a rare neurodevelopmental disorder.
Kelsey Christofi says she, with her husband and friends, will host the first fundraiser for this foundation in Canada. It’s a very personal issue for her and her family, because her two-year-old daughter, Kalliopi, is affected by DDX3X syndrome.
Christofi caught up with CFAX 1070 producer Morgana Adby.
