Saanich to explore changing parking minimums into parking maximums

With 95 municipal and electoral-area positions up for election across the Capital Region this fall, Livable CRD says voters need a simpler way to compare candidates. The coalition plans to publish candidate questionnaires and letter grades ahead of the Oct. 17 municipal elections. 
Spokesperson Michael Bassili joinsJosh & Jade to discuss how the questionnaire will work, who will grade candidate responses, how the coalition defines its non-partisan approach, and what voters can expect to see ahead of election day.

Livable CRD explains plan to grade local election candidates

Rama de la Rosa recently joined Josh & Jade to talk about her incredible Swim for the Salish Sea fundraiser, which saw her swim the length of the Gorge Waterway in support of Heart & Stroke. 
Rama shared what inspired the challenge, the unique experience of open-water swimming in local waters, and the overwhelming support she's received from the community. 
She also reflected on reaching her 15 kilometer distance goal and why she's passionate about using her swims to make a difference.
