The current WooSox pitcher and member of the Boston Red Sox 40-man roster was cut from the USC club baseball team before embarking on a journey that took him to Northwestern, being drafted by the Red Sox, undergoing Tommy John surgery and finally being called up to make his MLB debut with Boston this year.
The 27-year-old right-handed pitcher details all of that plus what he's currently working on with Triple-A Worcester.
