Boston Red Sox senior director of player development Brian Abraham hops on Cassell’s Corner podcast with T&G sports reporter Tommy Cassell. 

The two discuss the Red Sox’ current crop of top prospects, and a few former prospects who are now playing in Boston. 

Abraham, a former Holy Cross catcher who was raised in Worcester and currently lives in Shrewsbury, also talked about his rise from being a bullpen catcher with Boston to becoming the farm director of the Red Sox.

He also relived some of his most memorable moments of his post-playing career, including an unforgettable 2013 season.

The two Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Association Hall of Famers talked all things football, Central Mass. and their longstanding rivalry, while sharing some good stories about their combined 75 seasons of coaching, 600-plus wins and 16 super bowl titles.

LaChapelle and Ross also swapped compliments and tales about both of their patented offenses, the passing attack for LaChapelle and running attack for Ross.
