Bishop Feehan senior pitcher Brody Bumila, the No. 1 high school baseball player in New England (for the Class of 2026), talks all things baseball with T&G sports reporter Tommy Cassell.
The two discussed Bumila’s rise to national spotlight, his recovery from elbow surgery and his remarkable winter for high school basketball, which resulted in a Division 1 state championship win.
The 6-foot-9 left-handed pitcher, who can hit 101 miles per hour with his fastball, also dove into his commitment to the University of Texas, what it would mean to be drafted by his hometown team and his ambitious baseball goals moving forward.
Oh, and Bumila hit on a recent craze going around high school sports: Hacky sack.
