Nicky Heyburgh is living testament to the amazing services offered by the SA Red Cross Air Mercy Service (AMS). Along with her partner Neil Dallas, the couple were on individual motorbikes and had just started on a 30-day trip across South Africa when Nicky suffered a nasty accident along a remote stretch of the R355 dirt road in Tankwa. Thanks to the swift response of the AMS, Heyburgh was airlifted and taken to Vincent-Pallotti hospital in Cape Town. They share their testimonial with Lester Kiewit.
