There is an image circulating of a minibus sporting the custom number plate “JP SMITH WP”, possibly honouring or having a dig at City of Cape Town Mayoral Committee Member for Safety and Security, Alderman JP Smith. But, as he explained to Lester Kiewit, the vanity plate isn’t registered on the NATIS system, but he is taking it all in his stride.
