The first time I went along thinking it would be a cool story but it changed my perspective. Most of the people I train in prison have  between 60 and 120 years left on their sentences. 

It’s about the ability to communicate effectively face to face you’ve got to be able to connect really quickly and understand the dynamic at that moment. 

When I take entrepreneurs into prison, with me they come along are shaken up, rolled inside out and put back into civilisation as a better version of themselves. 

They gain perspective, you are in a room you shouldn’t be in talking to a person you never thought you’d be face to face with, you have to find a common thread to share and communicate. 

Doing something that makes you feel uncomfortable is where your greatest growth is going to come from. 

  • It’s not about your IQ it’s about your ‘I can’ 

My mistakes and journey have been my education. 

I now class myself as incredibly educated but it had nothing to do with my school, it was because I had a greater ‘I can’ than IQ. 

You can only get good if you get going. 

Anyone in my life has to be there because I like them. 

There is a difference between being easy to understand and impossible to misunderstand. 

I want to be transparent, the guy who is impossible to misunderstand, I strive to be crystal clear and transparent in everything I do.
