The African Minerals Development Centre (AMDC), in partnership with the African Union Commission, hosted a validation and advocacy workshop on the sustainable management of mineral resources and their alignment with the Africa Mining Vision, which was adopted by the African Union in 2009. The workshop aimed to validate the preliminary findings of an ongoing evaluation of South Africa's mining sector and assess its alignment with the principles and tools of the Vision.
