Mozambique has introduced a new series of metical notes and coins which will replace those in circulation since 2006. The country's reserve bank governor says the theme of the new money maintains its cultural, historical and faunal heritage. The coins of 20 and five cents will be removed from the new series. Thami Ngubeni spoke to Aureo Nhaca, Group economist at IAPED Holdings in Mozambique
