G20: Young Entrepreneurs Alliance Aims to Build Meaningful Partnerships Between Youth-Led Enterprises and Investors

View descriptionShare

A few weeks ago, South Africa hosted the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance (YEA) Summit—an event designed to spotlight talent, influence policy, and foster meaningful partnerships between youth-led enterprises and investors. The summit also provided a platform for South Africa to showcase its vibrant entrepreneurial landscape, cultural diversity, and commitment to youth empowerment.

The G20 YEA Summit serves as a strategic vehicle for cultural diplomacy, engaging emerging entrepreneurs from across G20 nations, cultivating affinity among future business and policy leaders, and highlighting South Africa’s competitive edge in human capital and entrepreneurial innovation. It also reinforced the country’s G20 presidency themes of Solidarity, Equality, and Sustainability.

Ashraf Garda and Thami Ngubeni spoke to Sophie Masipa, a member of the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance Task Team.
