The Corporation for Deposit Insurance (CODI) has aligned South Africa (SA) with the rest of the G20, by guaranteeing cash deposits in the event of a bank collapse. Bank Zero says this has the potential to change South Africa's banking landscape, which is currently dominated by the Big Five - First National Bank, Nedbank, Standard Bank, Absa and Capitec banks.
