The African Union’s inaugural Conference on Digital Agriculture has wrapped up in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The gathering focused on how advanced technologies can be harnessed to drive agricultural transformation and build resilient, sustainable food systems across the continent.
Addressing delegates, the Commissioner for Agriculture, Rural Development, Blue Economy and Sustainable Environment (ARBE), Moses Vilakati, reaffirmed the AU’s commitment to digital transformation as a cornerstone of agricultural modernisation, food security, and long-term sustainable growth.
