Sierra Leone, Somalia, Chad, the Comoros, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Liberia and Uganda have high rates of workplace harm. This is according to the latest edition of the World Risk Poll and publication, which saw workplace harm being high across the African continent. A global safety charity behind the World Risk Poll - the Lloyd's Register Foundation - is calling for more regular, tailored health and safety training and better reporting tools after discovering that nearly one in five workers have experienced harm at work globally.
