The court’s 2–1 decision allows the state to implement district lines designed to give Democrats a stronger chance at flipping several congressional seats next year. Opponents argued the map relied too heavily on race to boost Hispanic representation, but judges found no constitutional violation. Tangipa says he's now asking the Supreme Court to look at the case.
