Standing up for Australia doesn’t mean attacking those who enrich our nation culturally, socially, or economically. Recent extreme comments by Bob Katter and inflammatory social media posts by some “March for Australia” organisers have only added fuel to the fire. Attacking migrants is reckless, unhelpful, and out of step with public discourse. Supporting our country means defending our borders and communities, but it also means honouring our multicultural society. In this episode, we ask: what does it really mean to stand up for Australia? How can we promote dialogue, respect, and unity in today’s divided climate?
