Işık Abla was born in Istanbul, Turkey, and raised in a devout Muslim home. Her early life was marked by intense hardship, as verbal and physical abuse shaped much of her childhood. In 1996, she fled to the United States seeking freedom and safety. After years of trauma and despair, she descended into deep depression and became suicidal. On the very day she planned to end her life, God interrupted her darkness with light. Işık encountered Jesus Christ in a personal and supernatural way, surrendered her life to Him, and received His healing, redemption, and restoration.
