And listen, here in Manitoba we’re no strangers to flooding, and I don’t want to take away from that… but CROCODILES EVERYWHERE???? Authorities are literally saying there are crocs in the floodwaters just cruising around like it’s their personal splash park. They’ve moved more than 1,000 people to shelter and are telling folks not to be heroes. Also… they warned about “other things” in the water, and I’m sorry, WHAT OTHER THINGS??

I've realized my morning routine is about as simple as it gets. Wake up, shower, get dressed, and head out the door. I thought it was going to be something fun to play casually, but I am fully hooked on Mario Kart! After getting a secondhand Nintendo Switch over the Holidays, I have become OBSESSED with kart and tire combos, character selection, and even watching videos on the best "racing line" on a level! It's more or less harmless, but it's become a complete obsession! Do you have any harmless obsessions?

The Holidays have come and gone, and I had an absolute blast! I was able to visit my parents, and see some other family, which is always a lovely thing. One of the biggest highlights for me was my conversation with my cousin's kid. He was very bright, and kept me on my toes!

This time of year, Christmas music is a guarantee, no matter where you go. And most of us have songs we like, or at least can tolerate! But, sometimes, we encounter some Christmas songs we just can't do. For me, Randy Bachman's "Takin' Care of Christmas", and "Christmas Shoes" by Newsong do it for me. What about you?
