So after what was quite a bit of stress for Boerne Little League these past few days has finally been resolved… Long story short, they’re headed to the World Series in Williamsport. There’s no doubt about that… by now you’ve heard Little League out of Tulsa filed a restraining order and a judge sided with them saying they would be allowed to play for the region Tuesday, which Little League’s Committee had already made a binding agreement on. It was ultimately decided yesterday that the extra game wouldn’t take place and Oklahoma was still disqualified. The same court would discard that restraining order, with Little League saying in a statement:

“We appreciate the Court’s timely and considered decision to vacate the Temporary Restraining Order, allowing enforcement of the Tournament Committee’s decision to remove Tulsa National Little League from the Southwest Region Tournament and declare its previous game a forfeit. The decision upholds our commitment to a fair and equitable experience for all children based on our Official Rules, Regulations, and Operating Policies.”

Boerne now prepares to travel to Williamsport and in exactly one week, on the 19th, the competition for a world title will get underway. 

Boerne High volleyball started their season off the right way Monday night- with a win over Stevens on their home court. In fact, it was a sweep… 3 sets to none.
